I purchased an LS tractor from Penrose tractor factory about 6 weeks ago. Shortly after taking delivery of the tractor it began to have problems. I called Debbie at tractor factory and they promptly came and picked up my tractor in Peyton colorado. I was very unhappy that my tractor was having issues and i expressed this rather heatedly to Debbie who i think handled the situation very professionally. I also had several pointed conversations with Randy the owner and suffice it to say i braced myself for the 'we've got your money so deal with it' attitude. I couldn't have been more wrong. Randy was very professional, understood my position and in the end made things right. It was refreshing to deal with a business that put the customer ahead of the business and i can't say enough glowing things about penrose tractor factory and i would definitely do business with them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. read more

Penrose Tractor Factory has no customer service, a threatening/judgmental atmosphere, and no confidentiality what so ever. I was threatened and told to F**k Off many of times by the woman with wild blonde hair at the front desk. She refuses to provide me her name and threatens me on camera. I would rethink your motto "Each employee is dedicated to superior customer service. However, don't just take our word for it come in and see us...and we'll prove it to you!" I did come for services and was treated as a criminal and judged all because I needed services through SMARTSTART. Not only do they give themselves a bad name they give their contracting company SmartStart a bad name. Go somewhere else! I don't think the owner Randy Sipma would be very pleased with the way his business is run when he is not around. read more

While heading back to Canon City from Colorado Springs, I found myself with 2 miles of gasoline left in my tank knowing I was out in the Middle of nowhere on the dangerous highway 115. I found a safe pull over spot and got ahold of Penrose Tow company and sent them a ping of my location. Within 20 minutes, Edward Oliver, a wonderful US Marine Corp. vet, came to the rescue. He was very quick to my surprise, friendly, knowledgeable & equipped with the proper tool to get gas poured in my "cap-less" gas tank on my Navigator. This is a dangerous stretch of road and grateful I chose the best company. Dispatch was also very courteous and quickly understood my situation. read more

The guys at Penrose Towing helped my Mom, stranded and scared in the middle of 115 with a flat tire and broken lug nuts. They towed/ helped and fixed everything for her in under 3 hours! While they worked on her car, they made sure she was comfortable with air conditioning and water. The fact that they took care of her as if she was their own Mother means more than anything! Please don't ever second guess using them; they value the well being of their customers and the quality of the work that they provide. My truck broke down. After calling insurance to arrange a tow they referred me to this company. I was told they would be 2 hours out. Driver showed up over an hour before his ETA, had my truck hooked up safely, towed it to my house and had it all done 20 minutes before they originally said they would be here. Driver also dropped the truck in my driveway to help me out due to HOA rules. The driver was extremely polite and helpful. Other tow companies should strive to provide service like Penrose does. I will 100% be using them for future tows. read more

OK, forgive me but this isn't about towing, it's about the company in general. They donated space over this weekend for a spay and neuter clinic given by Dr. Jeff (Rocky Mountain Vet) and I personally can't thank them enough for coordinating this for the community. The volunteers and Dr. Jeff and his staff were amazing as usual. To offer something like this to our small rural community was something so much appreciated. big flatbed, safely load and haul classic cars also, pretty much expected and reasonable time for a pickup. They seem to work with AAA which do not know if anyone else works with that roadside assistance. Been satisfied and as a woman when I am alone, do not want to stand by the side of the road for a long time, and have vehicle hauled to whichever repair or home. I would definitely recommend them. I am very picky when hauling our classic cars and they know how to load and unload them. read more

We were on our way back home to Kansas from Colorado and our truck had a transmission issue along the highway. Shane our tow truck driver from Penrose Tractor & Towing came to the rescue, recommended a local mechanic and when he found out we were from out of state let us borrow one of his personal vehicles so we wouldn't be stranded while our truck was repaired!
