I just bought my last cup of coffee from City Brew. It was pathetic, luke warm garbage. When I order hot drinks, I want them hot, not just room temperature. Just finished a long trip. Stopped at City Brew in WY and MT. Coffees were excellent. So nice to have a coffee shop that consistently makes good coffee. Thank you for such good work! I ordered roughly 40+$ worth of food & drinks they were out of the egg bites I wanted so settled for alternative option the veggie. They were so dry. I also order an everything bagel sandwich with egg and sausage. The bagel was so tough. Along with the bagel and egg bites I ordered the spicy breakfast biscuit and.. the biscuit was so soggy. Oof, then they totally forgot my drink. I won't be back. Sadly the food is a complete miss for me and the customers service is poor. read more

We came a few days prior to this and ordered the campfire frappe. It was too sweet for me but I drank it. We went in yesterday because it sounded good. I asked the girl if I could get it half as sweet and she said yes, no problem. My friends was also sweet, sweeter than the few days prior. We had only taken a few sips of each drink when we decided to go back in and see if they could remake them less sweet or get something else. The girl that made them is now at the counter. When I said I had asked for it to be half as sweet, the girl said yeah, it's really hard to do that because we use a powder. So basically they told me they could do something they couldn't. The girl said she could remake our drinks and she'd only charge us half price. I said so we have to pay for them?!? She said yes, I have to charge you. I said no, that's not happening. I asked if there was a manager there and no, but the girl I was talking to was the shift lead. I will NEVER give them any of my business again. Poor customer service! read more

I really like the inside with the tv and fireplace plus the chairs are all padded. Customer service was good and the coffee was your normal coffee nothing special but 5 stars on the inside plus WiFi is fast. read more

City Brew is a local chain in Montana, and has many outlets in several cities. This location is fairly large, with a comfortable modern setting and bar-type seating, comfy chairs and tables/workstations. Many were working, and others were hanging out. The coffee is good. Is it the best in the area? No, but it still ranks as a nice place for a decent cup of...whatever your flavor may be. Like the other "big" franchises, it offers the standard coffee, latte's, espressos, teas and a huge menu of assorted flavored drinks. I ordered a latte with sugar free chocolate and peppermint, and unfortunately it had a strange, chemical taste. They use only syrups to flavor, and if given too much, it has that weird taste. I asked the barista if there was any way to tone it down, and she offered to remake it on the spot. I was surprised at such quick and easy customer service- thank you! The re-made latte was good, but I believe the brand of syrup they use may just have that off-putting taste. Many people love this chain, so take it with a grain of salt. They have assorted baked good, and even some gluten free and vegan items. The wraps look delicious, and my sister had an all-natural granola bar that was truly wonderful- filled with nuts, dates, coconuts and other yummy components. They also have an online program with rewards and free drinks to take advantage of. Good coffee, great ambiance, and even a drive thru, give City Brew a leg up in the chain coffee wars. read more

City Brew is a Montana coffee shop chain (with a few locations in neighboring states). There are four stores in Missoula (where I was for a day). I needed breakfast and a good internet connection. City Brew was perfect! It's a cozy, comfortable space located on a busy street (I was at the Brooks St. location) but the interior decor was inviting and perfect. The coffee (one free refill) was delicous and fresh and the breakfast sandwich was wonderful. Prices were very reasonable. Their wifi was fast and reliable. A perfect stop - met my needs! read more

I just love you guys but you gotta work on your consistency on blended drinks. Sometimes my blended drink is amazing and sometimes it tastes like garbage. Two sips & I chuck it. Maybe some more training & stressing how important it is to follow the recipe to a T because we taste the difference. I don't understand all the bad reviews for this place. The bold drip coffee was tasty and inexpensive, wifi was strong and they give free refills. What's not to like? We are just passing through Missoula but I would definitely stop here again in the future. read more

I've spent over $200 here during the past year. They are doing a great job. Staff is very personable and their product knowledge is unsurpassed, in my opinion. Service is fast and my order is always correct. My spouse orders a "sugar-free, vanilla base, decaf Granita. They get it right! I can't say much more to sing their praises (it is just a coffee shop). The place is clean, they mop up the Missoula winter mud, the fireplace helps make for a cozy atmosphere to hang around. The furniture is top quality, by the way. Heavy, solid chairs. I had to take a urine drug screen for work. I don't like NOT being able to pee and having to hang out at the drug screen place, so I drink coffee to be able to go. It's best to drink lots of cofee and not water, the sample always ends up nice and yellow, with a coffee aroma. I stopped here for an Americano. Fair price, fast service, good coffee. read more

Fun and family friendly with great coffee and good food. There coffee is roasted in Billings Montana. I have had coffee from the shop at their main store where they roast there coffee, and there other locations including this one taste just like they roasted the coffee there at the store. read more

The worst experience I've ever had at a coffee shop ever, bar none. Forgot my latte order, perhaps because I was hiding among the five people in the place. When reminded they forgot again. After 27 minutes I asked if I could just get a cup of coffee to go. They then did make my latte explaining that my order couldn't be made until the machine was cleaned even though the other espresso machine worked well enough to pump out drinks for those who came after me and everyone in the drive through. read more

Unfortunately city brew took away the student discount with griz cards. They are already behind the right ball with their perks program compared to the rest of coffee shops on town. You have to purchase 12 coffees and that's ONLY after you have reached their platinum level. No punch card, you have to purchase a gift card. Coffee is more expensive overall as well. Wish this were different as I love supporting them, but I think I agree with alot of other people here....not much of a draw anymore. Bunmer read more
