I highly recommend City Center Dance to all parents especially those with toddlers. Ms. Sara and her husband Ian share their love and appreciation of dance with such an energetic, enthusiastic and nurturing way with children that makes you feel like your children are a part of their family. Our daughter is 2.5 and enrolled in the Tutu Toddlers and both teachers are so patient and know how to teach the basics of dance, teach respect and manners and also speak to toddlers in a way that they respond and have fun. They play music that is appropriate and appreciated and bring in props such as scarves, wands and others that bring both routine and variety to their classes that make children excited to come back every week. Covid times are difficult for all, but City Center has taken excellent safety precautions with all children wearing masks, regular hand sanitation, temperature checks and children dancing in their socially distant squares while still making dance class fun and sociable for all! Came here on a whim cause I wanted to dip my toes into dance. I come from a theatre background and I really wanted to try something new. I was a little scared but when I walked into the studio I was hit with nothing but positivity from the owners, Ian and Sarah Antal. They made me feel at home and were SUPER accommodating. The space itself is newly renovated with huge studios, and a big comfortable waiting area. I just felt really welcome from the very start. I took ballet one day with Sarah who teaches all the ballet classes. She was very patient with me as this was my first time. And wow, did I work up a sweat! I loved it so much I decided to come back to take their hip-hop class. Amazing! The teacher Rebecca made me feel confident in my own skin, but challenged me. We LOVE this studio! My daughter moved here from another studio last September. She is an aspiring ballerina and came here with her ballet teacher, Aaron. Between Aaron and Sara who also teaches contemporary, the instruction is second to none. Besides the stellar ballet instruction, Julia is getting something that was missing from her 6 day per week training regimen and that's the contemporary component plus a very happy and extremely encouraging environment. Between both Sara and Ian they have created a high energy, really fun dance studio. This move has been the best thing that has happened in Julia's dance career. City Center Dance is a really fantastic dance studio. The instructors do an amazing job and really care about the students. The owners, Sarah and Ian are always upbeat, positive and accommodating. I love that the classes start and end on time making pick up so much easier. Our dancer has learned so much and is enjoying five different classes at the studio. She never wants to miss a class. I am thrilled at the care that has been taken to keep the dancers and staff as Covid safe as possible. I feel comfortable letting her go there and was very happy with the virtual classes during the shut down. It was wonderful to have something for her to learn and enjoy during a difficult time. I have personally been with City Center Dance since I moved five years ago. Since then, I've seen how dedicated the studio is to their dancers. I adore dancing. I do not adore the commitment to a dance team, or excessive rehearsals, or competitive "levels". City Center Dance recognizes that every dancer is unique, and strives to fit them in exactly the right place. I never felt pressured and always had a blast during classes. In addition, their Aikido classes were phenomenal and I truly enjoyed taking them. Cannot recommend them enough as a loving, thoughtful studio who puts their dancers first. I cannot say enough about City Center Dance. We started here last year in November, after the other local dance school where my daughter was enrolled mysteriously closed without any notice. I started to look into other schools, but City Center Dance was the one for us! The atmosphere is very positive and energetic. The teachers and staff are so warm and make dance fun! This year my daughter is now taking 2 classes, ballet and tap. They even opened up a class for her because she was not able to take tap on the scheduled day. Wow! The recital in May is so well done and truly demonstrates the professionalism of this dance school. I give it 5 stars! read more

My daughter loves to come here for her toddler ballet class and we love bringing her! The owners and teachers are extremely kind, positive and cater to the needs of the children while instructing them with immense patience. My daughter adores her teacher, Miss Sarah, and follows along with her (almost) every step. My husband and I like having her belong to a studio that is flexible and understanding with scheduling and treats each student and family as if they have known them for a very long time. My daughter have been taking classes here for almost a year now. The staff is friendly and my daughter always love her dance instructors. The schedule allows you to take the type of class you want on the day and time that you are available. They offer several styles of dance from ages toddler to adult. I've recommended our dance school to friends. Affordable, professional and as soon as you walk in the door Ian and Sarah Antal, the owners, makes you feel like you're part of the dance family. City Center Dance is the best dance studio around. The staff and owners meet your children where they are and continue to work with them as they grow. I brought my daughter there when she was 3 years old and couldn't pay attention at all. The staff was so gentle and kind with patience that impressed me. She had such a beautiful experience for the first time in dance. She continued to want to go back. We are still there two years later and she looks forward to every Saturday morning. My four-year-old daughter started attending CCD in fall 2020 and my only regret is that we didn't enroll her sooner! She loves attending her weekly creative movement class, which has been a perfect ballet introduction for her. We have been a City Center Dance family for 8 years! The environment is friendly and the dance instruction is wonderful! There is a variety of skill levels offered and there is something for everyone at City Center Dance, whether it is even a boys' hip hop class or creative movement for toddlers! Both of my young daughters attend City Center Dance and enjoy their classes. The instructors are extremely patient with young kids teaching them in a fun way that kids respond well to. They offer a variety of props, which keeps the kids entertained but know how to refocus them on the basics of dance when needed. The dance program here is great! My youngest daughter has been taking classes for the past two years, starting with "creative movement", a ballet based class which gets kids used to moving to music. Brianna is great with her. She is a very shy child with adults but is very comfortable in class and interacts well with her.
