My daughter has been going to classes and camp here for the past 3 years. It's such a great place!! The crafts are unique and creative and my daughter has so much fun doing them! She loves everything they have to offer from the dance parties to art classes to the bounce room! They are open for camps when school is out and have many special events happening monthly. They also sell take home craft packages (usually around all the holidays) that have everything you need for a fun day at home!! Everything is very well priced & well planned! My 5-year-old son has been going to Shake it off camps for a year now and we have always had an excellent experience. It has been so helpful to have a place nearby that I know he will have the best time during breaks from school. He asked me today to be the first one to get there and wants to be the last one to leave! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and great with the kids. Everyone had a blast dancing, playing, and celebrating. I want to love this place but we've been here twice, once for a sensory class and once for a birthday party and both times I felt underwhelmed. The instructors seemed a bit unenthusiastic and disorganized. We recently went to a mermaid themed bday party and it was pretty unstructured and the instructor did not initiate things that I thought she would have (transitions, dancing, even when the pizza was there). Took my son and nephew today to the NYE Balloon Drop and I have to say the experience was dreadful. The event was set to start at 3:30 PM and they did not let anyone in a minute before 3:30 PM. The line was extremely long outside which resulted in many people getting in well after 3:30 PM losing plenty of playtime inside. The advertise play time was an hour and a half and it took some people 20 minutes to get through the door which resulted in 20 minutes less of Playtime. Tickets were oversold by a few dozen children and it made for an insanely packed and chaotic experience for both my son and the parents. Second, the age range was too wide with children ranging from 1.5-11/12 years told. This wide age range in a bounce castle is quite dangerous with all the younger kids getting trampled. Third, for this amount of people, the facility was not well supervised with just 2-3 employees for 70-100 people isn't adequate. The biggest let down was the advertised "balloon drop" that was an epic fail. The countdown from 10 to 1 was followed by a string malfunctioning with no balloons dropping on the children resulting in a few parents reaching to the netting and ripping it down to let a few balloons fall. What a mess. The facility frankly should be offering a credit or money back after a terrible experience like this. Such a greedy move to over sell this many tickets leaving the place in constant chaos and disarray for 1.5 hours. read more

I have been taking my two daughters (2 and 4) to Messy Makers for two seasons now. We love it! The girls are always stimulated and having the best time. We love it so much we had the 4 year olds birthday party there this year. It was worth every penny. Having been to a lot of kids bday parties, I think Shake It Offs is one the the most well organized and most fun. We did a craft and were able to add a bounce house component. And the dance party at the end is really one of the highlights. Couldn't speak more highly of the whole operation at Shake It Off. read more

Our family has been taking classes at Shake It Off since my son was about 6 months old - before they had their own colorful & spacious location, when classes were held at local parks! I now have a 3.5 year old boy and a 2 year old girl who both love visiting Shake It Off :) Over the years we've participated in music sessions (LOVE and appreciate the flexibility they offer), holiday pop up workshops, open play bounce time, and birthday parties. No matter the event I am always impressed with the variety, creativity, and effort put into their offerings. It feels like a family at Shake It Off - Miss Ramya recognizes and greets my children by name which always makes them feel special. Oh, and there's plenty of free parking which makes life easy with two toddlers! And the space they gave us with 30 kids was so tiny that the kids couldn't even sit properly on the tables or move around. I hired the shake it off team to provide entertainment for my daughter's 7th birthday party with very short notice after my original plans fell through. The staff was very responsive and provided a number of great options. I chose a science party for 24 children, the party was hosted in my home. The children were thrilled! They had arts and crafts, dancing and a rainbow science experience. It was exactly what they needed for an indoor winter birthday party! read more

Where do I even begin. I don't want to be this parent but maybe I'll save somebody some time and money. I am the parent to a 2.8yo child who I signed up for the "pre-school 6- week prep" class which happened once a week. While the curriculum was great and so was the teacher. Within the first 2 classes/2 weeks my son was diagnosed with the possibility of being Autistic by the staff and a nanny attending because he's 2 years old and did not want to sit and participate like the other perfect little angels in the class (5 other students). My son is in the 99% percentile for height and weight, so before the program began, I asked if he should be with the 3 year olds because I know how "fragile" 2's could be but they told me "wait and see" even though the class only happened a total of 6 sessions. Long story short, if your child shows any type of abnormalities or if you even think he/she needs some type of OT PT SP or even has the thought of being a normal toddler with zero impulse control do not go to this facility. The owner made up a no hit policy for 2 year olds over the phone (as some may know, it's developmentally appropriate) and offered a refund for the remaining 2 classes which I so happily received. Now as for the facility itself- so sloppy, there's stuff everywhere! Please let it be known I made note of this before they decided to "kick us out". Walking to the bathroom you see mountains and mountains of stuff like supplies for class and parties everywhere. Kids are curious, if one wanders off and decides to pull or touch any of these things the pile of stuff like chairs and supplies will fall right on them. It's a hazard and probably breaking a few fire department codes. Right out front where the classes are happening there is always a ballon garland set up from the past weekends party and I couldn't make sense of why it was still there? They need serious organizing and maybe a storage room? Idk. Not to mention, that after all this they send a proud email to share the news of starting some sort of partnering preschool program. Boy are they in for treat. The owner is a mom and has a son herself but he must have been the most perfect little toddler that never caused any trouble or snatched a thing from another child. read more

This was our first time at Shake it Off- I'm always looking for fun things to do with my kids(1&4). It was pretty unorganized-no direction as to what to do first/next/last. The bounce house room is less than desirable. Now we only came for the chocolate craft and sibling jump. Maybe the other classes or parties are better. Shake it off is hands down the best place to throw your child a birthday party. The owner allows you to customize the party according to your preferences while still providing the party planning aspect (activities, catering, decorations) if you need her to take over. This way you can be as hands on or off as you choose, which really sets this place apart from others. The owner will take the lead at the party transitioning from activity with ease and perfect timing, which allows you to actually ENJOY. To top this all off we had originally planned to have my child's birthday on a day there was a blizzard, meaning we had to postpone the event. Shake it off easily allowed me to reschedule for next day availability, and took the pressure and stress off of me by organizing the rescheduling of the staff to lead activities and catering. My son (16 months) and I started Miss Ramya's Shake It Off classes in October 2021 and have continued to sign up each term since! My son has gotten SO much out of the classes, and it's been such a nice way for me to connect with other moms in the area and make friends (especially when COVID has made that so difficult!). We've done music/dance classes as well as art/science classes with Miss Ramya, and my son looks forward to class every week. Miss Ramya plans such fun activities for the kids that keep them engaged and having fun. I highly recommend her classes! read more

Took my 2 year old here for some holiday fun as they had a Frozen princess party. She was over the moon to see Elsa and Anna and be able to hug, take photos and have a dance party with them!!!! There were great age and theme appropriate arts and crafts, face painting and music.
