The first and most obvious is that the program itself and the instructors are exceptional. They are knowledgeable about dance technique, but more importantly they are knowledgeable about how to teach that technique. They are patient and kind and always do it with a smile. Secondly, and equally important to me is that the vibe in this studio is always light and fun, making learning to dance such a pleasure that I look forward to my time at the there. I have been a student at Addie-Tude for 7 months and have learned more in that time than in the previous year when I was taking classes at another location. I am endlessly grateful to Devin, Vira, Nelson and Addie for the incredible growth that I have made and for always making me feel like I am part of a beautiful, loving family. We dropped by 4 different studios and we knew PDC was for us! My 4-year-old daughter has been with PDC for 2 years and we absolutely love being a part of the PDC family! Classes are nurturing and positive, age-appropriate but certainly teaches the little ones to push themselves and do their best as little ballet and tap dancers! Owner, Paige L., and the toddler teacher, Ashley A., are absolutely amazing with the children! Each brings their excitement, their expertise, and their big hearts to the classes. Even the older dancers, who sometimes cross paths with the 2-4 year old class (or on the recital days) are so sweet and loving! They are like big sisters to the little dancers, taking them under their wing and making them feel like important parts of the PDC family. These girls have become extended family. All the parents look out for each other's daughters and support them with encouragement and love. There are workshops with special guest dancers and they have a winter performance for dancers who'd like to participate. The studio is an adorable boutique studio - small and quaint but perfect. For reference, I had two girls that went there for 4 years and were part of her competition team. We have paid tens of thousand of dollars to this school. When we questioned something, we were met with hostility and flippant responses that proved we were nothing more than dollar signs. I'm sad to have to write this as my girls liked their instructors (although there seems to be a revolving door other than maybe 1 or 2 of them) and made lots of friends. It was also convenient given the location but they will not get my business after what we have been experiencing. I'm sure that some people will disagree with my review which is their right. We are not the only people that have had this happen. I'm sure we will not be the last. There are many other options in the area to deserve my hard earned money
