Matt greeted me promptly at 7:00 a.m. and prepped me, always his usual, courteous yet friendly self. His administration of novocaine was painless and he explained and double checked the procedure. Dr. D. then did the same, explaining each step as we went along while both he and his assistant kept me well rinsed and as comfortable as possible throughout. Visual scans confirmed everything that had been done and any questions I had were answered quickly and expertly. I have had some traumatic dental experiences in the past elsewhere, so was slightly hesitant going in. My family of 4 has been seeing the team at Parkway Dental for over a decade, though, so I know firsthand that they are beyond competent. They actually CARE about their patients. At no time did I feel unsafe or uncared for. I was even given a lovely fleece blanket that proved to be a great calming agent. Truly, though, it is their professionalism and compassionate care that shepherded me through. I go back in about a week for my permanent crowns and am actually looking forward to it!

Although insurance only covered about $40 of the procedures I scheduled the appointment anyways with the plan to pay out-of-pocket. While I was having the procedure done, the dentist did several other procedures without asking my permission. When I went to check out I was charged for the additional procedures, which totaled $200 above the original quote. When I asked about the discrepancy the dentist came out and offered a 10% discount. They didn't seem to have any respect for the large amount of monetary difference, or that insurance wouldn't be covering it and I would be paying out of pocket for the extra $200. I won't be returning.

The staff were all so friendly. Monica was my hygienist and she was incredibly patient and thorough. She talked me through every step of what we were doing today as a new patient. The first business on the list was Smiles at France. I looked at their website and was immediately certain that they were the sort of place you'd trust to fix your smile teeth based upon their before and after photos. Although it was after hours late Saturday, I called and left a voicemail asking for someone to call me early Monday if possible, as I was available Monday and desperate to fix my tooth. Imagine my surprise when a friendly dentist, Dr. Cook, called me on Sunday--from home! He understood my distress, and instructed me to send him a cell phone photo of my tooth damage, and set up an appointment for me on Monday afternoon. Dr. Cook and his staff were very friendly and kind to me, and best of all, you wouldn't believe what Dr. Cook did for my tooth. It looks so very good that I just can't tell now matter how closely or carefully I look? ANY difference between this tooth and my "real" teeth.
