Their memory foam beds even though higher rated are half the price as Tempurpedic. I initially chose this store because there was no other option to see the BedInABox products in person. I wasn't about to buy a bed without laying on it. I actually drove 3 hours but I am really glad I did. The store was smaller than I expected, but the products were great and luckily I found the perfect bed. My wife was hesitant about driving so far, but now she is glad too. So far I love the bed, but time will tell. As for the store itself, we received excellent service and i highly recommend going to the store rather than risking picking a bed out randomly from their website. I can be a pain in the butt sometimes and the owner took care of all of my questions and kept in constant contact. He was quick to respond to all of my emails. You seriously can't be the price for a memory foam bed either and more comfortable than all the beds I've tried, but beds are individual taste of course. They also had some latex beds which was another reason i drove a long way to see them because there weren't any dealers around Orlando that I could find (other than Ocala). They weren't my thing, but my wife liked them. If you want memory foam or latex I would say they are worth the trip. The selection isn't huge, but worth your time for sure. We paid about half of what we would have for a comparable bed (as I said before). The bed showed up in 2 days... literally in a box. It's pretty amazing how it expands after opening. The warranty is excellent as well and they have a great return policy.

What a great shopping experience I had at this store…read more Backstory - I have a king bed set and unbeknownst to me, it had a standard (el cheapo) frame that was supporting the mattress and box set. It worked fine for years, but last night, I guess I was a little too overly aggressive (if you know what I mean) and BAM the bed frame broke. I ended up removing the mattress from the frame and slept on the floor. Not knowing exactly what to do, I was driving past City Mattress and decided to stop in and see about a replacement. I was greeted by Carlton Williams and he was super friendly and informative. He showed me a replacement for my exact frame and suggested two different optional upgrades (one had rounded edges and one did not) that were far superior in strength to the one I currently have. I decided to buy the best and strongest bed frame and asked about delivery and he said it would be free for tomorrow. When I asked about same day delivery, he said it is an upcharge and will check the schedule. I left the store at 12:30pm and two delivery men showed up at my house at 2:30pm (exactly two hours since I left the store) and took apart my frame and installed the new super heavy duty frame. The name of the frame is Engage K Knick Hybrid and it was around $200 and is super strong. I was told it can support 1,000 pounds and I don't weight that much, but can give it the old college try tonight if you know what I mean. Thanks Carlton and City Mattress for outstanding service.

"Helped" by a very pushy woman who was happy to high pressure us while we were searching for the best deal on a Black Series 3 firm mattress. We had one more store to shop before we would make a decision which we politely explained to the woman while looking and as soon as she heard that she literally walked away from us and jumped on the next couple walking in the door. So, we did the same thing and walked out. Went down the street to Baer's Furniture and purchased our new mattress. We will never enter another of your stores! We felt like we were in a car dealership.

Having had multiple problems in the past month with another major mattress company, I landed at City Mattress on a Friday, having completely given up on the other company that morning. It was the best decision I could have made. The salesperson (Debra) could not have been more accommodating. She was not pushy in the least; she simply wanted me to get the mattress I so desperately needed! I couldn't believe my ears when she told me that delivery was not only free, but could be made the very next day, and sure enough, this morning at 7:10 a.m., my phone rang and it was City Mattress, saying they would arrive at my house between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. At 8:30 on the dot, they were here. Both gentlemen (Eddie and Julian) were exceptional. They were polite, efficient, and went well beyond what I expected them to do. My existing frame didn't have a middle support bar and I didn't realize that lack of one would nullify the warranty, so holding my breath, I asked if they might have one in the truck that I could buy and they could assemble. Guess what? No problem at all! I cannot adequately express my appreciation to all three of these people. Please do yourself a favor and avoid ALL other mattress companies. This is the one to go to! The store itself is gorgeous...new, bright, welcoming. Between that and the three lovely people who helped me, who could ask for more???? read more

I can't say enough good things about City Mattress Boynton Beach, FL! After having an extremely negative experience at another recently opened Mattress store in Boynton Beach, the difference is night & day! Lori B. was so helpful in her assistance to me in every way possible, she is tremendous asset to your company, her professionalism, knowledge, patience & caring without any pressure was so refreshing. Lori sent Julian out to measure for a motion bed & he was equally as professional courteous, knowledgeable. We ended up not keeping our headboard and frame, but purchased a beautiful wrought iron head and footboard to accommodate the new motion Prana bed instead. Which my husband & I love!!! My husband has major back issues & had just gotten out of the hospital from surgery when this transaction occurred. Again, I can't say enough good things about your staff, store &policies! City Mattress is the BEST - I was assisted by Nera L. at the Boynton Beach store and she couldn't have been nicer, knowledgeable and truly professional. I love my mattress set and as a footnote I purchased a mattress set at Rooms to Go in Wellington, June 2015 and had three defective mattresses and finally we parted company not the best of terms. They did not want to deal with me and I sure did not want to continue dealing with Julie, the Manager. I wonder what they did with the 3 defective mattresses???? Also, the set up crew was so nice from City Mattress like night and day with RTG. When RTG picked up my mattress set the guy would not even sign a form that I typed up indicating the pickup. He also got mad shall we say that I was taking pictures as proof of the pickup. Thank you City Mattress for restoring my faith. read more

Awesome customer service! Had a problem with an adjustable electric bed. My father is a disabled Veteran and his bed would not move. I called them and within an hour and a half they came to fix the bed as they knew he could not get in or out of bed as it was stuck in upward positions. They were amazing as this bed is a lifeline for him. They had to replace motor so they had to come the following morning to replace motor but they were able to get the bed in a flat position. The next day It froze again and and they had to adjust something on the motor had to come out a third time as something else had to be adjusted. They were really amazing and understanding of the situation and did their best to help. The bed is now working great and I can't thank them enough for the great customer service. read more

Recently I was in the market for a new mattress and walked into the store to find the most attractive and professional layout of beds, mattresses, furniture and accessories you could ask for. John Cloutman, the store manager, personally assisted me in choosing a whole new bed, frame, etc. that now after a week of sleeping on it was by far a great choice. Thanks John! Not only were they right there for any questions that I had I was shown many different mattresses with an explanation of the benefits of each one. Stopped in to the City Mattress on Boynton Beach Blvd with the full intention of it being my first stop. The salesman was excellent. Listened to what I wanted and didn't push anything else on me. In the end I ended up buying a better mattress than I had intended to because the price was great. The delivery experience was just as good as the sales. PLEASE do not purchase anything from here, especially furniture. We purchased furniture from here for about $5k and it started falling apart immediately. City Mattress told us there is a no refund policy. The furniture was replaced but even the replacement furniture is falling apart in less than 1 month. Pathetic! It happened to be a specialty item. They gave me the name, the model number, and three places to call first where I might find it. As it turns out, they were correct on everything. I was so impressed. Many places do not take the time to verify that sort of thing. They just deliver what you order and the rest is up to you. If it turns out to be a mistake then you must haggle with them to take it back, get a refund, and somehow get it back there. Not so with this company! Even though they lost that sale, their service was so great I would go back to them in a flash and recommend them highly to everyone in the future.

We told him what we were looking for, he took us to that section, didn't push anything on us and we decided on just what we were hoping to find. He arranged next day delivery, said someone would call us before they showed up. Next morning we got the call within the window he promised.. and the mattress & Box Spring was delivered. The mattress is great, Beautyrest silver and very comfortable. I highly recommend Beds, beds, beds.

Despite being ready to spend $3-4k, we were completely ignored. After browsing a few models on our own, the only acknowledgment we got was a faint 'hi' from someone in the back office who didn't even bother to come out and help. It's a shame, because we genuinely liked the grey wood‑grain king model. But customer service matters, and they lost the sale. Wayfair will be getting our business instead.

On top of that debacle we had a couple of issues with the items delivered and we went in circles with them to rectify the situation to no resolution on all but one issue. They don't care and they just keep pushing you off with "suggestions" on how to deal with their defective product. Horrible customer service. This furniture was too expensive to have so many issues. They made the shipping mistake and take no accountability for their negligence. Update - yes they replaced a table top when they sent the wrong one, However, we are still stuck with a wobbling table as well as cushions that have ties and no where to tie them onto. So I have ties hanging everywhere, not to mention the ties are already fraying! The delivery debacle cost me over $1100 ! How or why would $100 credit be acceptable!!! What a joke, we spent thousands of dollars on this furniture!
