I advised the the person I was trying to be pro-active due to my mother's condition. Well, person over heard the conversation and stopped me and my mother outside the office and gave us some good advice and advised us to check with DHHS. I get home and did some research and found out that there is a pre-payee designation form that can be completed with the Social Security Office that helps is something happens. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE BEEN OFFERED TO COMPLETE THE FORM WHILE WE WERE IN THE OFFICE, AND ESPECIALLY DUE TO THE FACT I ADVISED THE SOCIAL SECURITY WORKER I WAS THERE TRYING TO BE PRO-ACTIVE!

After entering through the front door, a deputy sitting at a desk will ask what type of service you're needing and direct you accordingly. I needed to get license plate questions answered so I visited the DMV office here. You go to the kiosk, enter what you're needing and you get a ticket. There's 4-5 employees behind a glass encased walk-up area similar to a bank teller's set-up. The employees are nice and accommodating (there's a handicap area as well). Everything is quick, clean, and well lit (tall, floor to ceiling windows). This is nothing like the "old days" DMV to get license plates and handicap paring permits.

A few others came and hour later and it was still quiet. While the hearing was going on, I sat in the waiting area and talked to the individual providing security. He is actually part of Homeland Security, he's not a contract business. Found that interesting. He was a great guy, passed the hour and half pretty fast chatting with him since it wasn't busy. Place is clean. There was another older gentleman on the other side of the sliding glass window answering phones. That was sort of weird actually, he was a bit loud even even with the window closed. Building is nice. Not sure it's age, tho it doesn't look old. Been well kept. Exterior shares a cobblestone drive courtyard with a high rise hotel. It's really pretty out there with all of the trees. If you come here, it's because you have to, it's not a place to recommend as it's not an elective place to attend. Tho, if you do have to come, it's a pleasant experience.

Here's the kicker, at some point a certified birth certificate is not acceptable? Go figure.. She was told needed a doctor's statement with name & dob signed & stamped!! Kid you not! The response to shock was "I don't know this is you" This says welcome FRAUD. We all know there are bad actors in every profession. So you could create multiple versions of identities. Sent request to Doctor office, stated had to be stamped. Finally got the letter, no stamp (they don't have one) Went right back, 20-25 minutes later process completed. Birth Certificate works to get a passport (at least it did) Can you think of any reason it would not be accepted for replacement SS Card & since when? Oh! Just never checked them back in. I had to go look on the shelves and show them before they'd take them off my account. Librarians seem irritated when you ask for help, and make sure you know that they're being inconvenienced when you ask them a question. Witnessed an elderly woman trying to check out books at the help desk, and the librarian directed her to the machine. I asked if they had a book request program, and they directed me to an ancient lock box. They said they "would take my request into consideration". Multiple years later and never heard anything. I don't think the box was ever opened. A woman with a child tried to exit and had accidentally skipped checking out a book. The alarms went off and a male librarian chased her out of the building. He acted like he was SWAT. Pretty funny to see him nearly knock his chair over, but felt bad for the woman. The whole vibe is negative and awkward. Glad I have another option with Denison.

I was instructed to fill out form 1763 to stop these payments from my check. Kayla said I did not read the letter correctly so good luck getting reimbursed. Outrageous I did speak to an agent from the Denton office who was excellent in explaining what was told to me previously. Had she read that letter which she told me I didn't know what I talking about and I should learn to read better. It explained that by that letter of acknowledgment, it was protected. And I WILL receive my reimbursement... I read reviews about her that are not good so I sense this is her personality.

We showed up about 20 min before the appointment and checked in using the link they either email or text you with. In total from walking in to walking out it probably took about 20 minutes. We were called up to window #5 and the gentlemen who helped me was great. He was very quick with my request but not in a rush kind of way. He was super nice while fulfilling my request. I enclosed if a picture of what it looks like in Oath day because while I get that it may be crowded or maybe it's social distancing that explains why families aren't allowed inside. I don't know. But it's such a big day for them but it can't be witnessed by their loved ones. Benches outside would have been a nice alternative for families to wait as their loved ones came out with their certificates and flags.

Even with handicapped people such as those using a walker.No exceptions unless your a translator, I believe, but in order to qualify for one you have to meet certain criteria.
