Poor communication with workers showing up not…read moreknowing what to do and lacking proper equipment/supplies - no dolly at demo to haul appliances so deck damaged, multiple times-no paint, no tool to pull up flooring because salesman told them our existing flooring was vinyl (it was engineered hardwoods) cabinets trimmed out because worker didn't know there were still other cabinets in garage to be installed. We are still waiting on them to fix our brand new exterior door that looks worse than the one we replaced. The paint is peeling off, bubbling and cracking and they painted over latches rendering them inoperable. They also painted over (with a brush and roller) our brand new factory finished cabinets (to hide their installation mistakes) which nullified the manufacturer warranty and they refuse to replace them. They don't match the sheen of the other cabinets and not what we paid for. The floor bottom of sink base was covered with a piece of plywood because they cut holes in the wrong place before cabinet placement was finalized (discussed multiple times with salesman). Workers rinsed supplies and left outside water running for a long period of time over our French drain clogging it. They turned off pilot on water heater and didn't turn it back on over a weekend. Wall cabinets had to be taken down and moved over. Floors covered in glue because they didn't recover floors after cabinets installed. They damaged our deck dragging appliances and told me "it needs to be replaced anyway". And since I posted this review, they are refusing to honor our contract and warranty forcing us to seek legal counsel. Every single item and picture attached is the current state of our property..not "during construction". Our trash drawer cabinet's hardware wasn't attached correctly so that recently broke and not inoperable. When we confronted them about painting over factory finish cabinets, they denied it until we reminded them we have cameras. The pictures are just a small sampling of all issues we had along the way (water leaked all over floors due to pipe not being capped nearly damaging our brand new floors stacked a few feet away), when we dared bring it to their attention, they labeled us difficult. Their salesman makes promises and apparently doesn't relay that to the owner and his workers so it comes across as us "making changes". (ie: not setting island cabinets until we saw them set up in case we wanted to shift them down and "we can touch up the damaged deck"). We built custom homes and never ever had this amount of issues, ever!

We got the Roof Butler's name through a friend who recently used them, and we scheduled a time to access the issue. Todd Baraff, one of the owners, took great strides in looking inside and out to determine the source of the leak and provide instructions on the work needed. In doing so, he noticed several damaged shingles from previous weather and suggested we contact our insurance company. After opening a claim, we coordinated with Todd and the adjuster to review the damage, and our insurance agent determined they would replace the roof. All with the help from Todd. When it came time for the work, The Roof Butler's crew showed up, cleared the old shingles, laid down the decking, and installed the new roofing in one day. They had someone on-site to manage the workers and answer any questions. When the work was complete, the crew cleaned up and blew off the area around the house. I cannot say enough about The Roof Butler's work to resolve our initial dilemma and navigate the installation of a new roof.

After calling the Roof Butler, Todd estimated the damage and then met with our insurance adjuster onsite to review. Within a week we had selected our new shingle color and this morning at 6:30 a.m. Jason arrived with his crew of expert installers. Like a well oiled machine they removed the old shingles, replaced roof sheathing as necessary, installed the new roof shingles, cleaned everything up and were on their way home before 6:00 pm. Roughly 90 minutes later no one had showed up and I reached out to the office to inquire on timing and was told to disregard the ETA the technician was finishing up a stop and then headed my way. At 2:23, mind you after my arrival window, I reached out and said since our 4 hour window was up assumed the technician wasn't coming to which they responded an hour later (now at 3:17) stating the technician was en route. If you as a company cannot respond to potential customers appropriately how do you expect to gain customers?
