Alexander's Floors painted the inside of our house and replaced all flooring with LVP. They also installed quartz countertops in the kitchen and sanded and refinished the kitchen cabinets. Their pricing is competitive. The floorers and painters worked harder than we have seen in many, many years to make sure the project finished on schedule. And their attention to detail (picking up on a lot of things we hadn't even noticed) can't be beat. They made suggestions for improvements, which made the result so much more impressive than if they had only done what we originally asked. We recently received 4 estimates from different contractors to tear out the tiles in 1100 sq ft of our house and replace them with hardwood, it included the foyer, living room, kitchen and breakfast nook. Alexander Floors had the best price, and unlike the snake oil salesman that most other flooring companies will send for an estimate, he was very honest and up front about everything we needed to know and anticipate, he estimated the job would take about 2-3 days. 4 days later they received the wood that we ordered, they called us to setup a delivery time, and the next day they began working, And as promised, the job was completed in exactly 2 days time. They did a beautiful job, the guys they had working on this were very courteous and professional, and were very meticulous with their work. They moved the furniture as needed, and when the job was done, they vacuumed and washed the floor and put all the furniture back in place. I could hardly imagine a better experience than this. They replaced the plywood and installed hardwood flooring in one of the rooms in my house, and refinished the flooring in the other rooms with excellent quality. My house is an old house, and as such it has its quirks, and whenever any issues arose, Alexander's Floors would very promptly return my calls and send someone out to take a look, addressing any issues that were outstanding. The team did a beautiful job that included refinishing existing hardwood floors and installing new hardwood floors, vinyl plank and baseboard trim. I worked with Alexander Floors this month for hardwood installation in my home. After a few disappointing meetings and overpriced estimates with other companies, I was relieved to meet Alexander and his very professional crew. I had carpet removed, and decided to go with white oak with the cherry stain. I have a large dog in the home, so we also added the high-traffic poly to reduce damage by scratches. I decided to also add larger baseboards, and my estimate was quickly readjusted. For a VERY FAIR price, I have the most beautiful floors, and the crew even moved and then placed back my furniture for me. I gave the guys my house key and let them have at it. The entire process was pleasant and hassle-free. I would recommend Alexander Floors to everyone. I will definitely be using them again for completion of my basement at a later time and for any other projects that may come up. read more

I can only echo what others have said. Alexander came out and gave me a quote after we discussed options. He matched the wood type (red oak), width, and stain perfectly to the existing hardwoods. The job was done quickly and cleanly while we were waiting for our furniture to arrive and the home was empty. I only wish they had done the original floors in the house as the quality of wood used by Alexander's Floors exceeded that of the builder or his subcontractors. We had red oak floors installed by Alexander Floors in 3/10. Within a few months the floor was cupping and the finish was already rubbing off in places. Alexander came to look and you could see he was mortified when he walked in and saw the cupping. He did not offer to do anything about the problem. Now we are trying to sell our house and the woof is causing issues on the sale. Instead of adding value it is rendering the house impossible to sell. I called and was told the company only warrants the installation. Referred me to the supposed manufacturer. It turns out that company only sells unfinished wood. Our woofd was pre-finished wood. This company does not stand behind its products. They did bait and switching the wood we bought. I am livid. $5,000 down the tubes and can't sell house. SUBPAR COMPANY: DON'T USE THEM. Alexander Floors installed Rosewood flooring in my house 8 yrs ago. When I moved, I found that the finish under all the area rugs (laid atop high quality pads) had discolored and were unsightly. They told me it was due to the poli aging differently (light exposure vs no light exposure). If that were the case, the flooring under the furniture would be the same color as under the rugs. The extra flooring I kept was the same color as the exposed areas, not the covered areas. Gave me a price to re-finish that was more than I paid for the flooring and installation to begin with. What a rip off. Subpar company that doesn't stand behind their work. As the headline reads: DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. read more
