Random thought: im not sure why I expect tacos to still be a dollar when they were that much when I was 10 years old. These tacos were pretty good. ($1.69 each) Onion and cilantro were fresh and the tacos were flavorful and juicy as well. The line here usually falls well into the street. They're not that good but I guess people are will to wait. They do take card inside, just not for the corn cups. The Elote was amazing. It had been several years eating at City View and because the Taco truck I wanted to try for an authentic burrito wasn't on Main St, I went to City View instead. Love the breakfast burrito so much I went back for it twice in 1 week! Love the fact that the eggs and bacon are chopped up small and they cut the burrito in half (I have the other the next morning.) I'll definitely be back an hope the other Mexican food items are just as good. The price is $9.08 for the breakfast burrito. I have always been a fan of City Tacos, which is why I was so shocked and disappointed by my most recent experience. I ordered a burrito bowl through Uber Eats, and while I was eating, I noticed what I initially thought was a strand of hair. When I looked closer, I realized it was actually an open safety pin with a string attached sitting at the bottom of my bowl. This wasn't just unpleasant--it was a serious safety concern. Had I not noticed it before taking another bite, I could have swallowed it or been injured by the open pin. Finding a foreign object like this in prepared food is completely unacceptable. Uber Eats refunded my order, and I appreciate that. However, my concern goes beyond the refund. I sincerely hope the restaurant investigates how this happened and reviews its food preparation and quality control procedures so that no other customer experiences something similar. Unfortunately, this incident has left me very hesitant to order from City Tacos again. read more

Im gonna make the drive every time to come to my fav taco spot!! The cashiers are so friendly and kind, today only drive through and walk up was open. I dont think the sit down area has been open for many months, doesn't make a difference to me because it's just that good!! When I do go inside tho it's a typical home style taco place with not too much decor--the food is the star of the show. Food comes out fresh every time and always leaves me wanting more! Chicken tacos were horrible. Not sure what kind of chicken this is, but meat looked dark and old. No real seasoning, just salty. I ordered a quesadilla, and my friend ordered street tacos. Here is a great spot to get super tasty and inexpensive tacos. The old-school drive-thru set up is really kind of cool and the three tacos I had including one chicken, one beef, and one El Pastor were juicy and delicious. The best part I thought was the absolutely perfect service from the staff inside. So polite and courteous, I just wanted to hang out there all day. For 10 bucks you can get three excellent tacos in a medium size drink. Kudos to the owner and manager for running such a terrific taco stand. read more

This place always has a line down the street, so I finally decided to stop and see what the food was like. There are many options and the tacos were awesome! Everything was fresh, made to order and seasoned perfectly. They have a call-in walk up option that I may try next time, though the drive up line moved quickly. I don't know if management has changed or what. But those kids working the night shift keep messing up my order and im getting frustrated with them. I only ask for chicken tacos every time I come and wait for 30 minutes or more in the drive thru. They give me pork or beef when I ask for chicken and then they argue with me about what I said. The food is very good but........ As others have stated, the customer service will raise your eyebrows at how unfriendly the staff is. Also, expect to be infuriated by the tiny thimbles of hot sauce that they serve compared to the number of tacos or the size of the burritos. Ok so I have gone to this locations several times and had good service . HOWEVER for some reason on Saturday 7/11/2020 when I went to order my food at the window I was denied service. The young teenage girl said it was because of Covid 19. Now if I have on my mask and have order at the window before during covid19 why would you not take the order today. When I wait at the window for 5 to 10 mins for someome to show up and then tell me to call in an order and go to the drive through is very unacceptable. When attempted to call the phone call hung up. Tacos, rice and beans always good. This place always seems to have a line in drive through. (they do close at 11pm )

So here I go trying out another local place, I drive by and I see a long line almost every evening. I'm like wow it must be really good! I give it a 6.5/10. My tacos were not full, not even half way full. The chicken was good, picadillo was alright. I got a burrito bowl, with the tortilla on the side. *didnt give me a tortilla* but the burrito bowl was a good size for 4.50 I think? I got fajita as the protein for the bowl and it was tough. Was in the mood for some tacos and they were the only ones open in the area. Small little place but The service was fast the line was long but wasnt there long. the guys taking orders were very polite and respectful which is a plus. Now the tacos we got fajita were okay at best. They had onions that were cooked with the meat but idk it was the marinade or the onions which gave the tacos a very sweet taste that I did not enjoy. First time trying this place, and I ordered 3 beef fajita, and 3 Chicken tacos for my family. I got it home to find out that they were all beef! I wanted the chicken because thats what my husband eats, so he couldn't even try it. The food: The tacos weren't hot, more like warm, and the meat had a nice season to it, but I could tell parts were a bit overcooked. I still would give this place one more try, since the flavor of the meat was good, and I didn't get to try the chicken, but I'd rather go on Taco Tuesday when they are busy, because I feel my meat will be fresh and hot. read more

Called in an order...two combo meals....my husband gets there to get the food and they are out of cups. They didn't tell him but still let him pay for drinks knowing that they were out of cups. They knew that they were out of cups. The guy handed him two 6 oz cups once he asked for cups to get drinks!!!! "Oh, we're out of cups." What is he supposed to do with those??? My husband and son enjoyed these tacos very much. I thought they were okay. My husband had 2 chicken and 1 beef taco in a combo. My son had 1 chicken and 1 beef. I had 3 chicken tacos. I thought that the chicken was juice but just lacked flavor as did the rice that came with my husbands combo. The sauce were water/thin but packed a punch. The best tacos south of Dallas. Drove by this place for ten years and never stopped in. Saw a long line one night and gave them a try. Authentic sauces , awesome tacos.
