Just don't!!! Stopped by one mid morning. The restaurant appeared clean. I was the only customer. I was not greeted when I walked in... I brushed it off. Eventually I ordered 2 breakfast burritos.. they were huge!!! The size of the burrito was the only good thing about them. I got a bacon, egg, cheese ,and a potato ,egg ,cheese. The potatoes had no seasoning and basically everything tasted bland. Each taco when adding cheese is over 5 dollars... not worth the price.

My dad has been a regular since they opened and brought the hearty & tasty breakfast burritos home for us to try. We finally dined in as a family, and it's a Great spot for lunch after church on a Sunday! Order at the counter and they give you a number and bring your fresh food to you. I tried the Huevos Rancheros; the sauce was not spicy but flavorful! The beans & papas were good. I expected 2 bacon strips. which is standard with this meal at other places, but it was more like fresh chopped up bacon bits which was fine for me. You get choice of fresh flour or corn tortillas, and 2 are served in foil in a tortilla warmer. It was YUM! To drink, I had an Agua de Jamaica; tasty and sweet. They offer fresh made horchata, limonada, and Agua de Sandia (watermelon) as well. Mom ordered a small menudo with 'a lot of hominy' and her taste buds were pleased. It's our go-to for menudo and a Mexican Coke for sure. The owner is full of joy and the staff is very friendly and serves with great customer service.

Food was delicious and service is great. Carne guisada was so good! The burritos are wayyy better than anything I've bought in Oak Cliff. Tortillas are made fresh daily. Papa and chorizo was delicious. The potato's were cooked all the way through. I've never seen the skin left on the potato. It was different but good! The sandia (watermelon) agua frescas was so fresh and not too sweet at all. I also tried the menudo and while the flavor was good I wouldn't purchase again. It had lots of fat from the meat. I can't wait to return and try more.

The burrito with bacon and potatoes was delicious, but the churro was the BOMB! Better than the one I ate in Mexico City!

I had the al pastor tacos and it was the best al pastor I have ever had in my life. Such a simple dish but performed so elegantly with refinement. We also ordered nachos as an appetizer and again, very beautiful display and all the flavors worked together to perform a symphony in my mouth. I wish i slowed down and took pics - sorry!

Hands down, this place is amazing and that's saying a lot because I don't even like Mexican food…read morelike that. The grilled shrimp nachos are the bomb. So flavorful and absolutely delicious. I stopped in because I was starving and needed lunch, sat at the bar, and when I say the service was 1000% on point, I truly mean it. I ordered my food to go and also got a drink to go, and while I was waiting, the bartender made me a small drink to enjoy at the bar. That was such a thoughtful touch. He also gave me chips and salsa and was extremely attentive and genuinely nice the entire time. I love good customer service, so I will absolutely rave about this place. The food was great, the service was top-tier, and they wrapped everything perfectly with plastic wrap for my to-go order 10 out of 10. Even though I'm not a big Mexican food eater, I will definitely be back just because of the service alone... and those grilled shrimp nachos . Also the ambience was so nice. they had the games playing so if you wanna go watch the game have some good food. This is the place and the drinks..... so good you only need one lol

Sandra (waitstaff) was great assisting us with our order, very friendly, good customer service…read moreskills. Building was very nicely done & clean. Sitting area was perfect for my family. We ordered Enchiladas Chicken, Quesadilla plate, & they had Aguas Frescas. All the food was hot & taste great. Portions were perfect for the price. This definitely hit my Mexican food need, having been out of NM for 2 weeks. 3 adults eating for $43 wasn't bad at all.

Polish up on your Spanish I was most impressed with the complimentary chips w/3 types of salsa and small bowls of frijoles a la charra for each of us YUM the beans were D-lish! I like to try what hasn't been reviewed yet so I had the Pozole Rojo (red hominy soup w/pork meat & spices) Very big serving bowl with lots of broth w/plain crisp tostadas x3. The Menudo and the Pozole were definitely at least a level 3 spice for me (but I'ma wimp when it comes to spice). The menudo, same generous size bowl, was too spicy for Ma so we took it to-go for my dad. Bro ordered Enchiladas Verdes plate w/chicken.. again very generous portion w/4 enchiladas rice n beans. The green sauce was a little spicy as well for him. He only ate half. Grandson ordered beef asada quesadilla plate which he loved served with rice and beans. Granddaughter ordered 2 plain bean and cheese tostadas but expected cheddar cheese and not queso fresco... well, I gobbled those up for her too! To drink, sweet tea has free refills, the large Jamaica was tasty, and the kids opted for Jarritos. It was 84.99 for three adults and two kids. A little pricy in my opinion but I'd go again to try more menu entrees.
