I used to work in Lancaster when 3 Hermanos was in a gas station next to Church's chicken in 2015. Joel later would go on to move to the shopping center on Pleasant Run & Bluegrove Rd. w/ the Fiesta grocery store. 3 Hermanos NEVER MISSES! The food is always good, even when ordering via delivery. I've had their breakfast tacos , Street tacos , menu do, enchiladas, taco bowls, tortas, etc... But my new favorite has been the carne asada tostada hands down! The crispiness from the tostada and the bold flavor of the Carne asada with theie green and red sauces- OMG! I order one with every entree as an appetizer. Lol! His barbacoa and pastor meats are always full of flavor But IYKYK, the real MVP here is Joel- the owner! He keeps the place hyped with great music, he has a great personality and is good with kids as well! The restaurant has room to dine-in but it is a bit quaint. It is in the heart of a bustling area, so you can totally hang out in the area and then stop at 3 Hermanos for dinner! The place isn't that big but there is seating if you'd like to eat there. Also noticed they offered flamin hot Cheetos elotes which I plan on getting next time because I will be back. We ordered the birria and carne asada tacos, fries and churros to go. Birria tacos: 8/10 as you can see from the picture, these were so fresh and delicious. I would've liked a little more flavor in the consume'. I think red onions would have enhanced the flavor. Fries: 8.5/10 could tell these were cooked to order and loved they seasoned them with seasoning salt and not just plain salt - that really put a little umph into them. Carne asada tacos: 7.5/10 Nice portion (ordered 4) and were cooked well but could've used a little more flavor/seasoning. The salsas definitely helped with the flavor. OMG!!! Today was my first time going to 3 Hermanos Taqueria, and it was amazing! The owner of the Taqueria was so nice and welcoming. I ordered a Quesadilla de Birria, which comes with rice, beans, 1 quesadilla cut into 1/4 pieces and a lemonada. I told myself I would eat at home but after trying one bite in the car.... Tourist review. Was vacationing in an area nearby with fam and was yearning for Birria! Based on reviews and photos place an order in person and was thrilled! Small carryout found in a strip mall. There is grocery a stone's throw away, so you can get some shopping done while waiting on a carry out order. In Chicago and other areas of the US I have had differing styles of birria and can form an idea from pictures of those I can enjoy. For example, some taquerias create a soggy form, fully soaked in the consumme. While others try to stay as authentic as possible, dipping the tortilla in a bit of consumme then frying so that the shell becomes crispy. With the addition of melted cheese it has become a sexy quesadilla. Super cool that their birria is offered by the piece/ taco. Made for easy planning when grabbing a large order for hungry stomachs. So we ordered a bunch, a couple al pastor tacos, a side of queso and per their recommendation, beef fajita nachos. The al pastor was meh mainly because the meat was well done and too dry to taste any seasoning. (In small ethnic shops, cooks tend to prepare pork well done unless you request otherwise.) If you're a pork fan, request they cook it 'not dry', medium, etc. The kids smashed the nachos and having extra queso is a winning combination. The birria was getting grabbed so often we lamented why we didn't order more! read more

Some of their Items could use more seasoning/ flavor, but nothing serious to where I wouldn't come back. They have really really good menudo, and I love how the Hominy isn't so Overbearing like most restaurants, and it's packed with plenty of meat. However , if you are a true birria fan / eater , then this place or maybe this location wouldn't be the best place to go. It's definitely not bad but if you're a true birria consumer such as myself then it's likely you won't be too excited with their birria tacos . For sure , everyone knows that consomé is almost the best part about enjoying a birria (taco, quesadilla, burrito, etc). It's Something about being able to dunk your birria into the consomé and watch it drip all over the place etc lol (food porn). I ordered 4 tacos in which their tacos are really nice sizes probably some of the biggest birria tacos I've ever had (Amen to that ). However I was given (1) 2 oz condiment cup of consomé for all 4 tacos and only 2 hot sauces . I too work in the food business right now so I definitely get food cost / and supply and demand etc. but I was given an attitude when I asked for more consomé and hot sales and I even stated Im fine with paying for the extras before the waiter could even mention anything because again I work in the food industry so I'm well aware that condiments AREN'T CHEAP. I would say Mexican food is probably my favorite food of all time, and I been to many a Mexican establishments. My family and I were in the area and wanted to find something new to pick up for dinner and decided to try 3 Hermanos. We got the beef enchiladas, flautas, and quesadilla. I would say that the beef enchiladas and flautas up to a sit down restaurant quality. The beef in the enchiladas were full of flavor, the tortillas had that good soft corn tortilla texture like they were freshly made. My top favorite of the night! Generally chicken flautas get a bad rap for having dry flavorless chicken inside, however these flautas had like a spicy tinga chicken flavor to them. Very good! I'm never a fan of refried beans with whole beans in them so those are a pass for me, but the rice was very good...I'll get double rice no beans next time. I'll definitely be back! read more

My boyfriend and I went for dinner one night around 7pm. We placed an order for three tacos, one burrito, fries and horchata. The young lady up front seemed as if she did not want to be there. She couldn't answer any questions we had about the menu and was very rude. We placed our order and walked next door. We came back about 15 minutes later to see if our food was ready and it was not. We took a seat and waited a a little over an hour for the sorriest food we've ever tried. The only thing we enjoyed was the horchata.
