Went in for checkup. Paid my copay via phone and the app as I always do. I was the denied care by the front staff by informing me my copay was 100. When I informed them I just paid 50 as I always do I was told "well it's 100. So you have to pay." I again informed them I just paid and asked how recent this change was. I was told 2 years. I informed them again I've been here since then and paid 50. I was then told unless I paid NOW (which is untrue by the way they can bill you after the fact) I would be denied care. Workers at the front also have their IDs reversed so you can't see their name or Info. read more

I went for a follow up after a follow up on a toe infection. Dr. Carnaru would barely look at it, was dismissive, rude, and not at all helpful. I couldn't understand what she was saying due to her heavy accent and she she got visibly mad anytime I asked her to repeat herself. read more

The reason I am writing this review is because of Dr. Carnaru (elderly, blonde hair, large outdated glasses). She is rude, arrogant, unprofessional and with a gargantuan chip on her shoulders. I am not going to go into detail other than to say I left the establishment in tears because of this so called "MD". She made me feel lower than the dirt under one's shoes. I will never return to this location as long as she's there. Stay away from this location if she is there. She's useless and ineffective. To address the long lines in the cold weather, this location now has a virtual line system. YOU MUST BE IN LINE IN PERSON BEFORE THEY OPEN AT 9AM. You can come later than that but you risk not getting a spot in the queue. You're then free to leave and go where you please, and you receive a text when it's your turn to be seen. You have 30 minutes to return or you lose your place and have to try again another day. This system has it's flaws, but it is better than waiting hours on their roof in the cold (in December I arrived 30 minutes before they opened and still waited an hour in line). What I also like is that if you reply to the confirmation text with an "S", they tell you how many patients are ahead of you. Really helps planning your day while you wait! I recently came for something besides COVID testing, so I received my confirmation text at 2pm, and got told to come in at 6pm, which was the wait time I had expected. Front desk, security, and medical staff have all been extremely upbeat and personable! read more

Went for a quick visit because there was a build up of ear wax blocking my hearing. Was barely looked at and was just prescribed ibuprofen and drops. I asked for it to just be washed out but couldn't be helped with that said there was an "infection" ended up wasting an hour and a half and still having a blockage in my ear. Btw there is no infection just a little swollen from picking at the area. Total disappointment barely understood the doctor speaking to me. read more

Don't go here for Covid test and anti body test. I had mine taken last July 3rd and it's July 14 now and no results or whatsoever. Their customer service made me Wait for 30 minutes for nothing. The doctor that checked me and di the tests can't even get the blood out of my vein. The line gets too hot as it's from the parking lot up stop and shop and goes all the way down to their reception area. It's a free test but they charged my insurance still anyways. Go to a hospital instead as they have legitimate laboratory tests unlike this clinic. If you need the results for employment don't go here please. I lost a job interview because of their delay. Their results will Never come on time at all. I lost so many opportunities just waiting for my results as it's already been 12 days waiting. Please cut the waiting time and just go to a hospitals really upset I have no results yet and lost possible jobs. Just waiting for the results is causing me so much anxiety and worries me a lot! read more

If i can give you guys no stars i would, one of the girls in the front desk is EXTREMELY RUDE, i say girl because a woman does not act how she acted. I cannot believe they have her sitting in the front desk representing them, she's like guayaneses or Indian, dirty blonde hair or highlights she had it in a bun, long eyelashes, she don't have no manners what' so ever! She don't let people talk neither ask questions with out taking over you. Her attitude is on 100%, i was so close to telling her off and telling her you don't have to work here if you're not happy. Stopped in yesterday for symptoms of bronchitis. I was asked a few times if it was covid related to which I consistently said no, was tested prior and no covid, I think I have bronchitis. I go into the treatment room and make it clear of my symptoms, that I am covid negative, 8 months pregnant and not sure how to treat this - hence me coming in. Dr came In for about a total of 1 minute- pushed his thumbs on my forehead, did a covid test even though I said I was negative and just tested, told me it's a cold but cold medicine. He dismissed My concerns of being 8 months pregnant and not sure what I can and can not take. His response was if you have a fever take a Tylenol - he didn't even bother to see if I had a fever. I asked him about goiNg to work in my office and if it was too contagious and he rolled his eyes and responded with it's a cold. It's always contagious. I was so frustrated with his arrogance and complete lack of any sort of concern I just wanted to curse him out for being such a d*ck. Instead I left and got my discharge paper - to which I noticed he put my symptoms were a result of direct covid exposure! I said like 5 times that it was not covid related and never did I think it was and I wasn't near anyone with covid. Place must get kickbacks for covid patients or something. Now that I actually got a chance to use their services, I realize that this company is a total ripoff. Put it simply, even though you are the one paying for their service, you have to do all the work. They take nor responsibility for anything. Procedure: 1. Spend 20 minutes filling out the really annoying information on a glorified I-Pad. 2. The process includes signing multiple waivers. You really need to bring a lawyer, if you could afford one. 3. So now you are at the realization that they aren't responsible for anything. 4. Wait to see a doctor. 5. Doctor and nurse were fine. 6. Wait for your results......and wait.... and wait. 7. Then the blame game starts. "You didn't fill out the 20-minute form correctly, so we can't print out your results" 8. Wait again ..... 9. Go and come back an hour later. 10. "Were still waiting. You should have not made that tiny mistake in filling out our computerized form... now we don't know what to do" 11. Sit and wait, and wait .... 12. Ask them if they can mail on the results when they finally figure out how to use their computer system. Answer = NO. 13. Next, get presented with another waiver to sign. This one stating something like, "they are not responsible for sending out results". ???? 14. I refuse to sign, as I have had enough of this extended runaround and legal trickery. 15. Leave without getting any results, even though I had paid for this 2 1/2 hours of incompetence and legal smoke and mirrors. Conclusion: This place masquerades as a medical facility, however they have you sign so many waivers, they are NOT taking responsibility for anything, except taking your money. Why do these corporations force people to sign so many legal documents just to get some basic testing done? Then, after all the BS they put you through, they still can't provide you with any results. Stay away from these clowns and find a real doctor somewhere else. read more

I went in and seen the staff right away they were friendly and helpful from the nurse doctor an x-ray technician they were all wonderful I wound up fracturing a toe and they gave me crutches and a boot and I was in and out within an hour I would still be sitting in an emergency room read more

FYI: FOR COVID TESTING I went today - TUESDAY 14 DECEMBER at 1:30 PM - and they have a security guard who said that this specific location works on a reservation base that you need to come in the morning and reserve a slot. They have a maximum limit too. He said today they closed it around 11:30 so no one could reserve if they came after that time because it was full. Once you reserve, they'll text you when it's your time to come. Though I wish I knew this earlier, the security guard who explained it to me was really kind and friendly so I'm putting it on here incase anyone else was planning on coming here as well. read more

I usually don't mind going to get my antibody testing but this was the worst place. I'm usually very patient and kind but the doctor/nurse was not kind at all. I felt very disappointed and disrespected. I was declined an antibody test and was told "I'm not going to give it to you" I explained that I would like to know because of the environment I work at and she proceeded to tell me what I can and can't do. She also said my explanation doesn't add up and continued to argue with me. I have a right to know and I was declined. She didn't even say "I don't recommend you get it" she wasn't going to give me the antibody testing . It was a waste of energy and time. I don't recommend this place at all because they really are unprofessional. The city md in rego park is way better and are very nice . read more

Went today because my Home Care doctor CANCELLED twice in the last week (today I was OUT OF MEDS for 8-days!) & 6-months cancelled in a row (can you believe this? Don't USE DOC Home Care!). I made sure they would fill my med first because it's a Controlled Substance (& it wasn't eight years ago!). These damn DRUG ADDICTS messing with our meds- making our lives MORE HORRIBLE than they already are. THE STUPID CDC NEEDS TO LEAVE LONG-TERM USERS (avg age 50+) OF MEDS ALONE! Things were going ok, but quite slow (I'm in constant EXCRUCIATING PAIN which I made crystal clear to them: I have THREE severe Neuromuscular Diseases- one is Advanced Myasthenia Gravis (Google that & READ!) & I'm supposed to be homebound & bedridden). Yet they still took their sweet time when I had everything they needed ready for them. They finally tell me after well over an hour "It will be ready in CVS in about 15-minutes.". My butt... I finally check out & get a week's worth of medication. The CVS I was going to was 5-minutes away (and they've known me there for this exact med for well over a year!). The CityMD doc even looked closely at my previous CVS prescription bottle, yet wrote for DISSOLVABLE TABS (that DO NOT work on me; I have Hyperthymusism that I KNOW this CityMD doc has no idea what that is, so I didn't mention it!). She had my Rx bottles to copy from, so WHY would she change it??? This took City MD OVER AN HOUR TO FIX while I'm sitting in CVS's HARD AS A ROCK chairs! The CVS pharmacist called them at least FIVE TIMES & they did nothing! I finally was in tears from my pain, so I asked CVS if I could call CityMD. I explain to the man at the desk that I'm in CVS where YOU SAID my Rx would be ready in 15-min. & now it's over an HOUR I have NOTHING, and my pain IS EXCRUCIATING! Why haven't you sent the CORRECT RX yet? He said "It's going right now.". THAT WAS 15-MINUTES MORE! Twenty minutes later I had my Rx, but the damage was already done. Now I won't be able to get out of bed for at least a week in EXCRUCIATING PAIN every day! read more

I received an email from citymd stating that they are now using a virtual line by having you leave your name and # at the desk, instead of waiting on a long line, and they would contact you then you have 30min to show up for your vovid test. This is to make it more convenient for everyone. I went at 10:00 am, they open at 9:00, and was told I am to late i have to report at 6:00am to be placed on the list. So I now have to get up at 5 in the morning to stand on line for 3 hours, 6-9, in order to be seen that day. How is this more convenient? read more

I came here on the fly because my asthma was acting up for 3 days. I called ahead of time and they stated it was a 45 minute wait. I got here and they saw that I could not breathe properly, they put me in a private room right away. The wait to see the doctor was less than 15 minutes.
