This place is pricey so be prepared to drop some cash! The quality and service, however, are worth every dime. We had the cheeks, clams, and broiled seafood platter. AMAZING! I can't even describe what happened in my mouth on each bite! The wine selection was also outstanding as was the service. You need to go here for a nice dinner when visiting Valencia.

What a disappointment. On my first visit the shrimps were fresh, tasty, seasoned correctly. On my second visit every dish came out cold, starting with the squid which even cold was still tasty but this time drenched in oil. I reordered the carabineros and langoustines but this time they were cold and tasted stale. The langoustines were almost raw and the carabineros too salty. Even though it's a seafood restaurant they had some aged beef on display and I gave it a shot. I asked for medium rare and the steak just arrived well done and like rubber. What a shame as after my first visit I would have travelled to come back. 1 star for the squid and 1 star because it could have been an off day for the chef. It was very busy worth lunch service. My suggestion is sit at the bar as you get better service.

Popped in for lunch. They were fairly full so I sat at the bar. Wow! Wonderful service, delicious food, and met some nice people sitting next to me. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. Shrimp in garlic oil, Civera scallop, and seafood paella. Yummmmm

This place has over 1,200 reviews on Trip Advisor and only 15 on here currently so I thought I would hop on and give them the five star assessment they deserve. I can't quite decide whether to start with the food or the service as both are outstanding. The seafood was the freshest we had during our three day visit and the wine selection was excellent. Our server (some English) was great about discussing the menus with us (some Spanish) and had great recommendations. If you find yourself in Valencia do have a visit.

Food was good... Menu does not specify how items are made or what they come with very well. The 2 female waitresses weren't as pleasant as the male waiter after realizing we spoke english. One waitress rolled her eyes when getting us the dessert menus. So unpleasant when we are trying to help with their economy.

Great service, great food, however be prepared to pay for it. Dining is great outside but the inside is very inviting as well. Wine pricing is great.

Tiny local clams - packed with flavor!

The best pallea I've had in Spain, simply delicious and great ambiance sitting in the alley in the city center. Awesome dining experience.

Tuna tartare was amazing. Black rice paella was too salty, maybe because it was precooked and reheated.

This all made sense as the highly rated and reputable Paella restaurants were open from 1-4:00 or so. One thing for sure make your reservations before you get to Valencia. We were lucky and got a table at 3 a day before. Smaller/cozy spot and looked like they had a 2nd level. We started with a Sangria and a Majou. For appetizers, it was the recommended Gambas with Chili Aoili-exquisite -I was really concerned that we couldn't get any better after this. The Bread with Aoli and olives was also tasty. Paella Valenciana (with Rabbit/Chicken) is the authentic one and has to be ordered a day in advance. We ended up ordering the Seafood (de Marisco) Paella which can be ordered same day. Filled with all types of seafood-delicious! Table next to us ordered the one with Lobster which looked like a winner also. Service was excellent! With the two sisters who were Owners helping with our table. They've been around since 1951. Would highly recommend!

First, it represents the largest produce market in Europe, spanning 86,000 square feet and housing over 1,200 stalls. With its towering dome (Photo 3) and basilica layout, this market feels huge... ...but not intimidating. This space is far less a tourist magnet than a daily functioning, community-focused operation heavily used by the local populace. We saw businesses specializing in fresh rabbit, snails, and specific bean varieties for authentic Valencian paella. There were entire stalls dedicated to freshly harvested saffron, local Valencian citrus, and local seafood like eel and cuttlefish. Of course, for your more immediate noshing needs, you can also find appetizing baked goods, Middle Eastern sweets, and Jamon by the slice. The Art Nouveau architecture is stunning with its iron-and-steel framework and stained glass roof panels. Located in the heart of the old city in Ciutat Vella, it's close to other key landmarks like La Lonja de la Seda (The Silk Exchange) and Catedral de Valencia. RELATED - Exploring Valencia?
