In this trip we met one of the seasonal workers. She collected our entry fee of $5 each and asked us if we have visited in the past. Very nice young person. They are looking for volunteers and it would be s nice place for someone to de-stress and get their hands a little dirty. Also, gardening does burn calories. Every season you will see new plants and flowers coming up. It's not your perfectly polished garden, but it's your rough work in progress labor of love. The park is well-maintained and the variety of plants and flowers is truly stunning. I enjoyed walking through the different gardens, each with its own unique character and charm. They just opened on April 1st for the season so not everything was in bloom (obviously) but my minds eye could imagine if. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and the dedication of the staff to ensure that everything was in pristine condition. I could tell that they take great pride in their work and it definitely shows. Overall, I highly recommend visiting the Strongsville Gardenview Horticultural Park. It's a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city and a true gem for nature lovers. Five stars all around!

Although there was a trailer, a tractor, and other homestead items at the bottom of the hill in the back, which was clearly visible. If you're looking for a place to get hitched and have a reception immediately following your wedding ceremony, this could be a decent option. There was a fair amount of parking available and a paved lot. I wouldn't call the venue glamorous, but it is definitely functional.

Yesterday, I attended a lovely cowboy/cowgirl wedding ceremony in the field at this farm. After the wedding, we had a reception in the barn and we took a tour of the farm. It was known there would be lots of kids of all ages at this wedding, so that influenced the decision to have it at this venue. After the wedding, the kids each got to ride ponies, a cart pulled by ponies, a non-hay ride, and they got to visit the lots of animals in the barns and fields. They have two elk, several reindeer, pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys, emus, rabbits, cats, horses, donkeys, a camel named Charlie, and a mule, to name a few animals. This is a petting farm, so the kids get to pet all the animals. There were three farm workers assisting with all the kids. This place is pretty huge. The people who like to dance stayed in the barn dancing. The people who like to drink stayed in the barn drinking. The kids and adults that never grew up played baseball and football outside. The smokers had their own little place too. This place has a little something for everyone. Fans take the place of air conditioning and at times, it was actually much cooler outside in the shade and breeze, even on the hot 80 degree day. Recommend if you're country.
