    Thank you Dr. Clint
    Gary D.

We contacted CK9 and Dr. Clint Kuban to see our newest family member a 14 week old Cockapoo pup, Zion. First off we really loved that Dr. Clint comes to you and visits your furry family member in their own environment, eliminating the typically stressful veterinarian office visit for a pet. Literally sitting on our floor face to face with our puppy, he took the time to gradually gain the trust of our little guy until he was happily sitting in his lap and looking as comfortable the vet-Dr. as he does with us. Dr. Clint is personable, knowledgeable, caring and approachable with any of your questions regarding treatments, nutrition or options for future care. He is focused on gaining that all-important trust of his patient before the exam. In fact the exam happens in the background while he is interacting with and engaging your pet. Zion had no idea he was being examined nor when he received his vaccinations.....he was simply playing with a new friend. We and Zion feel that we have found a vet-for-life in Dr. Clint Kuban.

    She's obsessed with him.

I am just shocked with the incredible above & beyond service this man offers. Dr. Clint is a complete God send. I'm not sure who all works under this location, but my poor pit has a UTI & the fact he was able to fit her in completely last minute today was already a huge weight off my chest, BUT he even CAME TO US. We have been looking for an in home vet service we trust & we were completely blessed to receive a call back from this guy. He got her up to date on vaccines & established a long term plan of care for her as she is a tri pod. By the end of it all I will admit I was dreading hearing the grand total for two shots (vaccines), uti antibiotics, & his over all check up/long term care evaluation.... It was $50 cheaper than ANY of the vet clinics I called in my area. If you are in the Littleton/Highlands Ranch are PLEASE just give him a go, because I could not be more pleased with this experience. I am looking forward to having my pups in his care for as long as I remain in Colorado. P.s. My pup didn't even feel the shots and she absolutely LOVES her new Doctor. Thank you SO MUCH DR. CLINT!!

The vets and techs immediately began to help and diagnose, which included a clear treatment plan, and eventually surgery, all of which were necessary to save our dog. Dr. Thaeder, Dr, Martic, Dr. Schultz, Alexis, Sam, Becca, Kim, (and several others I'm undoubtedly forgetting) saved our dog in the most impressive, transparent, and compassionate way that I never knew existed. We witnessed every step of the process to diagnose and restore our dog's health. If you want to stay all night with your pet, you can. If you want to watch their x-rays, they have a window for that. If your pet needs an operation, you can observe that from a window if you want. If you need a private room, there are several. Apart from the deep knowledge and passion these vets clearly have, they treated our dog like a member of their own family and he clearly fell in love with them. He's already getting back to his ornery self each day, and we are so grateful!

The entire staff, especially the nurses and Dr. Pierce, was so knowledgeable and caring. We came in during a big rush but they got us checked in and shown into a private room right away. We ended up having to wait about 2.5 hours from when we came in to when our boy could get into surgery to repair the damage, but they were checking on us the whole time. The pricing was not nearly as bad as I expected, honestly pretty similar to what his primary vet would have charged for the same services. Dr. Pierce was very good about sitting down to explain options and providing clear guidance about what he thought would be best. So glad to know that this place is here in case we ever need emergency vet services again!

Dr. Vernon did everything he could to help and was always available when we had questions or concerns. We knew that everyone there really cared about our kitty and how he was doing. When it was unfortunately time to say goodbye to our sweet boy they sent a very thoughtful condolence card that meant a lot to us. The Emergency department was also wonderful when we had to bring our cat in when he wasn't feeling well - there were several emergency visits needed throughout the year, and every vet we met was attentive and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing Oncology or Emergency services for their pet.

This is going to be an interesting review, I can already tell. We were at the Belmar location on…read morethe 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo) when we met Dr. Christina Mote, who is easily one of the best vets I have ever met even if she apparently is just an interim doctor and not one of their regulars. She seemed very experienced and knowledgeable and was the first one I have met who really understood the needs of this particular patient (Julia, cat, aged eleven, who is presently recovering from a recent mammary chain surgery which we had done at another place five days earlier, we came here because she needed some additional after care which the other vet who did the surgery did not happen to fully provide for some reason although they are good enough vets there otherwise and in general). I really thought she was great. I still think so. I would even like to go specifically to her if I could. Turns out however that she is not usually at this location and I'm not even sure where she usually is. Oddly enough the girl that I spoke to on the phone six days later from Sploot said that the doctor's name didn't even sound familiar to her. (I know that this is not actually one of those Twilight Zone things, but it is actually starting to seem like it.) Looked up her name online and it seems that being a "relief doctor" (filling in for other doctors when they are out) is apparently actually basically what she usually does. WOW. She did great and terrific considering that and I would love to have her as a regular vet. That is the good news. The bad news is that their other interim doctor that we met, name of Brianne Loughridge, did only okay and that apparently as it turns out we haven't yet met any of their regular vets so far (hmmm). That is apparently just kind of how it is at Sploot, you could literally just get whoever you happen to get. They do have two specific regular vets that are usually there at that particular location but on any given day who is there is whoever is there that day and it won't necessarily be who you thought you would get or who you thought you were looking for or even what type of service you thought you were looking for, and it could just as easily just be whoever. (And again, hmmm.) I am more used to veterinary places where you can choose a vet and/or get to know the vet over a long period of time, where they only ever have maybe two or three vets there, and where your favorite vet there so far doesn't just turn out to be missing in action or to be only the interim girl in the first place and nobody has ever even told you of any of this ever before. I loved our first day there, it was great, it was terrific, it was special, I would do it all over again. I'm still so glad that we had such a good first day. First day at a new place doesn't often turn out to be nearly that good. However under the circumstances I think that we will be most likely just going back to the other places we have been where we already do know the vets there and at least that they are basically good for us in our situation overall most of the time. Loved our first day there and our brand new adventures with our new vet but it seems to have been perhaps quite literally a once in a lifetime opportunity. So glad that we were there on that exact very day and met exactly her, but if I was looking forward to any very similar experiences at that same place then I think that it was apparently only a daydream. She doesn't even apparently usually work there. Sigh. Meeting her was so nice but I think that since we can't usually have her we'll be usually having somebody else at another place. Will not make Sploot our regular vet but will certainly keep them in mind if we should ever happen to need a backup plan. The free toys and treats were great too and the pink toy kittens were my absolute favorite and I think that even my cat seems to like them. The Inaba Churu treats of chicken and tuna in squeeze tubes were also greatly appreciated. Will be receiving our own set of 50 or so tubes of them in a variety pack from Chewy's by delivery very soon. Just passing through I guess but we have loved so many things about it so far. This place is like Disneyland for a pet. But. Would rather find a really great vet and then stick to that person. Still looking but I know of a few that are actually fairly good ones in case anybody needs a recommendation. Thrilled with some things about Sploot and was very very glad to find out that they are there just in case we continue to need them and especially at that particular location since it is very close by. Could easily become a real fan of theirs soon and in many ways as far as just the place itself. Loved our time there and I am sure very much so that we will be returning occasionally. Thank you to Dr. Mote and thank you also to Quinn the vet tech who was particularly helpful on our first day with adding toy, treats and food and getting the paperwork that we needed to go home with from the vet.

We have been a customer of Sploot for sometime with one dog. we recently adopted a second puppy and scheduled for her to be spayed. After referring to their website, they advertised female spay for $750. After the initial consultation exam we were presented an estimate or $1250. When we pointed out the rate was more than what was advertised, they said they missed apply our membership discount and came back with an estimate of $950. When we still questioned the price they stated that the advertised rate of $750 was the "Starting Price" and that because our 6 month puppy was 30lbs, it would cost $200 more. We pointed out their page says "No hidden fees. Just expert care + full transparency." and that we didn't feel we that our experience matched that claim. We asked that they honor their advertised rate and if not we would contact the BBB for deceptive advertising practice. The next day after this request, the Sploot "Business Operations Team" retaliated by unilaterally cancelling our puppy's spay surgery with less than 24 hour notice and said we were not welcome as customers any longer. Fair warning. Service is great but if you question their billing practices, they will take a "their way or the highway" approach to their customers. I got to Northside at about 6:30 in the evening. I could tell it was very busy. I was checked in and expected a little bit of a wait. After about 20 minutes, I was taken into an exam room and about 10 minutes later a tech came in and triaged my cat. The decision was made to euthanize him. The technician told me that the doctor would be in. I began to grieve my baby boy. Little did I know that I would be left in the room with no communication for an hour. I finally stepped out and the receptionist told me that they would be in soon. About another 30 minutes, went by and I could no longer take it. I was 100% a wreck and made the decision to take him back home. I packed him up in his carrier and walked out. The receptionist told me they would be in soon, but I told her I can't do this anymore. I can't tell you how horrible it was to sit there and wait for the end only to not have it happen. I got home and my husband was extremely upset. He phoned the clinic and was lied to. The receptionist told him that I was told that it would be a 3 hour wait. Not true! If I had known, I was going to be there for 3 hours waiting to put my lovely boy down,I would've never done it. I would've gone elsewhere. Needless to say I'm going to have to take him somewhere else today and go through it again. One of the most horrible experiences. Ever.
