We both got a glass of pink Catawba - $5 a glass and relaxed outside, sitting in the woods. Bought 3 bottles of wine to take home. Friendly people, beautiful setting, excellent wines.

There is plenty of free parking in their lot and lots of seating inside. There was live music that started at 2:00. There were board games. You can order food (although the cafe was closed when we visited) The service was prompt and friendly. I had a glass of dry red that was okay. When the band started playing, they were loud and it became difficult to talk. Also, you don't get cell phone reception inside and there isn't and guest WiFi. Bathroom was clean. When we visited (9/13/25), their merchandise was 50% off.

That lack of memory may indicate that we weren't raving about it and we weren't disappointed in it.

Even gave them toys and toured them around the vineyard to see some of the animals he has. The wine was great. We did the tasting first. The corn wine and the spicy wine were super unique and tasty. Be carefully with the spicy wine and listen to him when he tells you.IT IS HOT! But had great flavor We enjoyed a glass of the rylee red in the yard and took a bottle of that home and a bottle of the dry. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely go back

We got slushed at StarView!…read more I'm a huge huge fan of wine slushies and because of this, StarView was recommended as one of our stops on the trail. This winery was hopping when we got there but were greeted immediately upon walking into their main room. We both got the slushies and settled in on their gorgeous deck over looking a gorgeous lake. The only thing missing was live music but we were too early for it. Tastings are $5 and they do have a food menu that we noticed looked pretty good from what people were ordering.

However the reason for the 3 stars is due to the unfriendliness of the staff we had a girl with black hair. Also the rescue was very stuck up and rude. We asked to hold a kitten and they refused. Yet talking about how they wanted them all adopted. Only thing I can come up with is because we didn't buy a table for the paint and sip. Weird for winery to not allow any inside seating unless you buy a table for the rescue then allowing the rescue to be so rude to their customers
