Their specialist said it was not the battery the watch needed to be overhauled and would cost $1000 which didn't make sense since that was the original cost of the watch. They said if not it is just an expensive paper weight. A friend recommended John at Wayzata jewelers. With his experience and expertise he diagnosed the problem and cleaned a mechanism inside and replaced the battery. It worked!!!! I cannot recommend John and Wayzata Jewelers enough. Don't waste your time at a generic chain store. Support a local family run business. You will not be disappointed.

I actually really wanted diamonds and sapphires but didn't mention that at first because it was hard to find. This ring had diamonds and sapphires! It's like she read my mind! She finally said I just had to face the fact that I finally found it. Everyone at the store was so nice and I had SO much fun talking antique jewelry and looking at their collections. Van Guilder's is dishonest, has terrible customer service and are not reputable. Avoid this jewelry store like the plague!
