I wish I never went through with it because the man was very cold and uninterested in anything I had to say. I expect a tattoo artist to take pride in his work, not only did he not show any sort of care but he even bled and scared me. At the end process, the second skin was full of blood and ink and I had to remove it instantly. The tattoo healed horribly and completely uneven shading, I have a scar form in the tattoo from being shredded up. He showed no remorse when I returned to show him his work, and did not try and make the situation better. The nurses and office admin were calm and very friendly and enthusiastic with the kids, talking directly to them and answering their questions. The billing was discussed ahead of time and very clear. I enjoyed not being up-sold on anything. Needle piercing is $70 for both ears, and the earrings for needle piercing start at $70 per pair and they have flat backs, which I think are important for sleeping in them. There are other earrings for sale without flat backs that are much cheaper. For me, the most important part of an ear piercing is getting the holes lined up and in the right place on the ear. The nurses took time cleaning equipment, explaining proper ear care to the girls before going back to a small 5x5 room on the right with an open door. The nurse took about 2 minutes lining up her second holes, marking them with a pen and giving us time to examen their placement. She wore gloves and poked a metal thing through the front, so it stuck out for a second while she placed a metal thing in the back (maybe the earring itself?) and then it was done! My daughter didn't cry, although it was sore. The cleaning solution they sell smells a bit like chlorine. There were many kids coming in getting their ears pierced and everyone seemed to be having a very positive experience.

While out celebrating my mom's birthday we decided to be spontaneous and get a few piercings. My mom and sister got a few old piercings re-opened and a few new ones as well. Staff are great about explaining everything and were super careful about keeping everything clean, lots of hand washing, multiple sets of gloves, everything sealed and opened in front of you. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Tip: just because they only take walk-ins (unless it's a child's appointment) does not mean there is endless availability (especially on the weekends). When we visited they only had one piercer in, and early in the day filled up their queue and had to turn some folks away. So if you're driving a distance or can't come back another time your best bet is to wait for a weekday, or on the weekends arrive when they open and be willing to kill some time around town. Calling ahead probably wouldn't hurt either.
