I was in Santa Fe for my birthday in February and happened upon Shrine as I was trolling and shopping. Upon entering the salon (or so i wish to call it), I was greeted and welcomed, despite the busy clientele. I was treated with the utmost respect and asked if there might be an opening the following day. Bear in mind, I had no clue what I was doing, nor did I know what image I had in mind. I was instructed to go on-line and find an image to email over in advance, which I did. The next day I came to an appointment with a complete stranger, Joe, who was just the nicest, professional, and genuine person. Of course, I will return, since I may have a new addiction. One thing I noticed was that Nick took his time and thoroughly cleaned his work area and wiped the surfaces down and covered in plastic wrap. That impressed me as it wasn't just a quick wipe down but a nice cleaning. After cleaning the area he washed his hands and got started on my new ink.
