I take the opportunity to walk around. Stopped in at the Los Poblanos Norte bar/mercantile, go in to Shrine/ Ex Voto and I bought a very nice gold diamond stud I figure will be a great piece for my new piercing. Go back to ikigai, it's now an hour later, no one is back. Bottom line, waited two hours and I see people entering the shop, I go to enter, and they inform me that they are closing early. So disappointed. They might as well close for good if that is the level of professionalism they can muster up. I will never go back there or recommend to anyone.

Service was fast, but my experience was bad…read more I went in to change my nose stud to a ring, and after 10 minutes of the guy jamming a ring through the hole he decided that the piercing was too fresh (I've had it for 6 months) and put my stud back in. Not only did this process make my piercing bleed, but he also requested that I pay for this. Not great. The place was clean, which was a plus, but the jewelry is also quite expensive. Not worth it in my opinion.

Artist was completely rude jerk who complained about how "vocal" I was during my session. ***mind you: they tattooed my ribs/back* (not the easiest place to tattoo put my body dictated the placement). ** Informed me the only way they would correct the mistake/add on to the piece is if I wouldn't be "so vocal" during. ----This was a ridiculous request and didn't seem very professional.----- Your customers pain tolerance is only so high and while you are piercing their skin a thousand times with a needle and digging ink into the skin what else are they supposed to do besides say "ow"???

I made an appointment at Claire's to pierce my mom's ears; however, that fell through and this…read morekiosk was pretty much in front of Claire's, so we stopped in. The employee who helped us was very attentive and my mom was the 2nd customer waiting. The piercing is free; however, you must purchase a pair of earrings (cheapest pair was 40.00). The employee (didn't get her name) was very patient with my elderly mom (80) and very nice as well. Overall, the entire process probably took 20 min or so and my mom was very pleased with the process.
