I take the opportunity to walk around. Stopped in at the Los Poblanos Norte bar/mercantile, go in to Shrine/ Ex Voto and I bought a very nice gold diamond stud I figure will be a great piece for my new piercing. Go back to ikigai, it's now an hour later, no one is back. Bottom line, waited two hours and I see people entering the shop, I go to enter, and they inform me that they are closing early. So disappointed. They might as well close for good if that is the level of professionalism they can muster up. I will never go back there or recommend to anyone.

Not only did this process make my piercing bleed, but he also requested that I pay for this. Not great. The place was clean, which was a plus, but the jewelry is also quite expensive. One thing I noticed was that Nick took his time and thoroughly cleaned his work area and wiped the surfaces down and covered in plastic wrap. That impressed me as it wasn't just a quick wipe down but a nice cleaning. After cleaning the area he washed his hands and got started on my new ink.
