When we got the final product, the clothes were not tailored to fit at all -- everything was incredibly loose! And the most infuriating part was one of the blouses were completely messed up!! Do not go to this shop. There are so many better options in New Hyde Park or Jackson Heights. This place is not worth the hassle, the discriminatory pricing, and the beyond low quality of work!

The store has such a wide variety and selection -- I spent many hours there over the weekend and feel as if I barely scratched the surface. After pulling out a few outfits for me to try (all of which were lovely), Sonam was so patient and helpful as I tried each one on, providing her honest opinion. I really appreciated how straightforward and friendly she was. I ended up falling in love with two outfits, even though I had originally only wanted one. There were other outfits that I wanted too, but I knew I had to limit myself. I had some time limits and she was so helpful in making sure the outfits got their alterations in time for me. My boyfriend, who was wearing a True Religion sweater that we had purchased two weeks prior from the same store, began to look in the men's section as I perused women's section. We were meeting a friend at the mall and my boyfriend received a call and stepped out of the store to take the call. A representative that was standing at the fitting room began screaming to the cashiers at the register complex " Why aren't you guys paying attention? That guy just stole our sweater!" She runs across the store screaming frantically at all the associates. I watched in shock as the frantic associate did not know we were together. After ending his phone call, my boyfriend came back into the store to continue shopping. He was completely unaware of what was transpiring and continued to shop. The associate realized her inappropriate, unprofessional, biased reaction and stood quiet, yet unapologetic. At that point, I was able to gather myself and address the associate. I said to her, in front of all the other open-mouthed associates, "I just witnessed what you did. That is my boyfriend and we purchased that sweater two weeks ago." She stared at me, but still no apology. I then said to her that I would never shop in the store again. I put down the six dresses I was prepared to purchase and motioned to my boyfriend and our friend to leave. As it was a 50% off sale, my boyfriend was prepared to buy about ten things and reluctantly left with me. At this point, he still didn't understand what happened. I wholeheartedly believe that because he is a young, African American male, the salesperson reacted that way. I would think that if a customer walked into the store wearing your clothing, you would make the assumption that he is a regular customer, not a thief. There I did receive prompt service and a "runner" would fetch the correct size and hand it to me there. Not sure how long they've been in business but I feel like they've become complacent and don't really care about offering even basic customer service. Maybe they were overwhelmed because it's peak prom season but I noticed many moms and daughters trying dresses on and leaving them, without buying. Overall 3.5, with my two cents: care for your customers and they'll take care of you.

Kaleena was very helpful helping me find items to try as well as at register. Clearance items are not returnable. Even trying on 2 dress sizes it was a hard decision which size was the best as both were close in size for the fit. So if you have time I suggest trying things on. Most things list as R for regular in size, distributed through out are very few Short- and some sizes start at 0, 1,2... or numbers as 36, 38 etc. It is nice to have sales people to help in the search.
