These guys are the absolute BEST! When I started with them just over 2 years ago I could barely walk. I almost needed a walker, I wasn't even 40 yet and had 2 young kids at home that I couldn't keep up with. They have helped me regain so much of my mobility back, it is truly incredible! First visit - x-rays no adjustment. Second visit - Dr. comes in with look of great concern and tells you he's glad you came in because you're condition is serious and your organs will begin shutting down. You will be asked to come to the office on a week night and sit in a group information session. You will also be strongly encouraged to bring your spouse. After the session then you be taken to a private meeting and go over your actual diagnosis and the X-rays will be discussed with you. At this point you will be encouraged to sign a 6 month treatment plan. There are many reviews of this practice that read the same as mine. Only you can decide if you want to embrace the chiropractic methods of whole body treatment or the more traditional views of the medical community. I believe there is a place for both in this world. I went to Clairton for a pinched sciatic nerve injury that happened very suddenly and was extremely painful. This has been completely resolved with regular adjustments. However, in the process, I've discovered a slight curvature in my spine I wasn't aware of as well as arthritis in my neck. Regular adjustments help these as well. Perhaps the biggest thing I have taken away from Clairton is how Americans eat that causes diabetes, heart disease and all types of cancer...the big 3. Many comments have accused Dr. Brian of arrogance. I simply believe he is very passionate about his work and wants the best for his patients. I was referred to this chiropractor as part of the veterans choice program. I decided against using him because of the unprofessional treatment I received at his office on day 1. I have few simple requirements for my doctors - first, do not bullshit and second, be respectful of my time. He failed on first account because he was very condescending during our conversations. I felt being talked down rather than being talked to. Second, he was being disrespectful of my time because he wanted to talk to my wife as part of his "treatment" plan. This was a very odd requirement and when I said no, he wouldn't budge. Rather than argue any further, I decided to finish out my visit and promptly called Triwest(VA choice contractor) to change my authorization form him to a different provider. I preface all my comments by saying this isn't the first time I've been to a chiropractor. Granted chiropractors tend to oversell their service in terms of what it can do but this guy takes cake in terms of shadiness. I have asked Triwest to reconsider using him on their network and I hope they listen. read more

Horrible experience.Made appointments for my husband and I to have evaluations together.They scheduled us back to back 30 minutes apart. When we got to the appointment we had a sick kid with us I stayed in the car and sent my husband in to be seen first. Then when my husband calls and says well they said you were too late and they won't see you now because your appointment was at 8:30. Even though he was in there first at 8:30 and the other appointment was at 9o'clock. He told him I was waiting in the car. And they never said anything to him about how I needed to be the first one to be seen. Does it actually really matter which one of us is seen at 8:30 in which one of us is seeing at 9o'clock. They also told me because he walked in two minutes past the appointment time that we were late. Horrible horrible customer service. Poor poor communicators. Don't waste your time or energy going here. read more

I worked near this location and went there to get my lower back adjusted. There was some tightness to my lower back so most chiropractor adjust your problem. Well not this place. They said they had to take xray, most chiropractors don't need to do that just for adjustment but ok it was some new procedure. Warning #1! They said on my next session they will review the xray and adjust my lower back. This is 8:30 in the morning and there were already 10 people in there, for what I have no clue. Came in for the 2nd session, the DC said my xray was super bad (Scared tactic) I had all kind of issues and it life threatening. (still haven't shown me my xray) The DC (Doctor of Chiropractor) said he will review my xray at the next session but it would be with other people Warning #2. DC went to adjust my back, not my lower back where the tightness is but my upper back. it took him less than 3 minutes. All this time, he never focus on my lower back where I have issue. Warning#3! The entire time, I have this weird feeling something wasn't right. As I was leaving asked to make the 3rd appointment, the front desk girl asked if I would like to bring my family member to the xray review, it's life threatening issue that family members should be there. Warning #4! The appointment sheet said I need to be there up to 2 hours for the xray/seminar review. Went home and check them online. Yikes! My trust in people got the best of me. These guys want you to come to the final xray/seminar review so they can scared you into buying prepaid sessions upfront. The reason they ask for family members there is to have them sign up for a discount. It's a factory time chiropratic. The DC don't spend that much time doing the adjustment so that's why you need 3 sessions a week. This place seem shady. Do your research first before you spend thousands of dollar on this place.
