We got to visit Clancy's on a Friday in Lent about 1 in the afternoon. We got a table as soon as we arrived. The lady who seated us took our drink orders immediately. The menu offered 2 fish sandwiches for lunch, catfish or cod. We both chose the Cod sandwich. It took about 20 minutes for the food to get to our table. The sandwiches are large and the cod was hot from the fryer, too hot to eat almost. The price was reasonable and the service was pretty good. We will be back. read more

Clancy's is a great little spot for a beer and burger. I would also recommend their chicken wings appetizer too because they are very saucy and their recipes is almost as good as the best chicken wings spot less than a mile away. Beer was cold but could be a bit colder as the warmer weather arrives any day. Fantastic patio for dining and decent service too. Olivia runs a good ship here and keeps it shipshape. Great and friendly little place off Manchester. It has a real local vibe when you walk in, welcoming and cozy. I have been here a few times now to order out. This time I wanted to try the wings. The wings are big, juicy, with a nice crisp and dressed in their house sauce which is addicting! The Bleu Cheese burger could use a little seasoning as I had a hard time discerning flavors and they were one note. Instead of onion rings it was onion strings but otherwise decent burger. Today we learned at the Ellisville dog park that Clancy's is going to be open on Sundays; at Clancy's they confirmed their plans to be open on Sundays until West County Bowling Lanes reopens; then the crew will return to the Lanes and Clancy's may not remain open on Sundays... Until then... the burgers and wings are great! We visited and enjoyed dinner outside... one order of very tasty wings and five burgers, with fries and cole slaw. And yes, Clancy's does have gluten free (GF) burger buns! My wife commented "this is the best burger ever!" Our daughter went in a college camping trip and returned home (for laundry, and...) hungry; after two burgers and half the wings disappeared she asked to take my second burger back to school for lunch tomorrow... of course I obliged. I've been to the Clancy's in Rosebud many times so I knew what to expect. I was here for the onion rings! I ordered the Western Burger (Cheddar Cheese, Onion Rings, Bacon & BBQ Sauce) and subbed onion rings for fries. My burger was perfectly cooked and delicious. The onion rings are the absolute best. Went for the first time on3/17/25. The mediocre fast food version of a Reuben sandwich was poor. The "corned beef" was like eating a pre-packaged cold cuts version. The food was served in styrofoam containers and my soda in a plastic cup and no utensils. All that for $20. And the noise level was ear-piercing. Some good, some bad...overall give this place a "3". The food here is good. Reliably tasty pub/bar food. Service is slow. Got to the restaurant at 530pm, ordered at 545pm, and still hadn't received our appetizer (onion rings) by 645pm. When we asked what was going on, the waitress just seemed annoyed and said they were really busy. I don't know how small their kitchen is, or what their typical turnaround or staffing is...but it's bar food (hamburgers, fish/chips, chicken wings, etc)...I personally don't want bar food to take over an hour to be prepped/served. Ambience is kinda cool; indoors is an old-school, dark wood, off-the-beaten-path, biker bar feel. Outdoors with large patio. But the patios are cracked and uneven concrete with shoddy patch work, making it a really dangerous hazard. Actively saw patrons trip and then one elderly gentleman fell and got banged up pretty bad. I really wanted this place to be great because it has so much history...Sadly, there's nothing here drawing me back. If one of my friends really, really wants to go there, I wouldn't object...But I would still make recommendations to go somewhere else read more

They have nightly specials from 5-9 pm and live music on weekends so check the website to see what's happening.
