My wife and I, as well as our parents and other family members all use her services as our primary medical care doctor. The offices are clean, convenient to the interstate/central Fort Smith and as part of the Mercy Medical system (one of the largest medical providers in the region) you can expect excellent medical referrals, an excellent hospital and E R system as part of the Catholic affiliated medical care system. The roots of the local Mercy medical system go back to medical care founded by local Catholic sister in the 1800's.

To tell a patient insurance is inactive, toss my insurance card like it means nothing on the counter, and say you'll need to pay out of pocket. Not gonna fly on my watch. You should always go above and beyond for your patients. You know it's not like you work at a Drs office. It's not the dmv! And it turns out my benefits are active. Since March 1st, crazy . Smith, AR area and when I attempted to get an appointment it took over 3 months to see Dr. Meade. Upon arrival the front desk did not have my information even though I had fill out all my information on their website as instructed before attending my scheduled appointment. After this I went in for lung testing which was handled friendly, timely and professionally by 1 of Dr. Meades respiratory nurses. I wish I could remember her name as she was great!!!! Unfortunately I can not. After the lung testing I was placed in a exam room after waiting over thirty minutes past my appointment time I went out into the hall where Dr. Meade's receptionist was seated. This was a young girl who rudely stated that I was the next patient and basicly ignored my conern. Afer an hour had passed I once again went into the hall and was told I would just have to wait???? When I said my appointment was at 1 and it had been an hour and I had other commitments she didn't even look up from her desk simply said if I wanted to cancel I would need to go out to the front desk and rescheule. Totally unconcerned or cared about the patient's needs. I went to the front desk and promptly cancelled this appointment and will look for another Dr. who's employees care.
