    Part of the park

Came on Father's Day and park was completely empty. I originally brought my dog that has social anxiety to get her used to other dogs. This was a benefit cause she was able to explore and fall in love with running around and when we come back hopefully she can meet some other dogs.

Poorly maintained, Since the poop bag dispensers were removed and now seems there are people who are not picking up their dog's messes. Leaking sprinklers, pools of water/mud, Grass poorly maintained even when the City closes it for a month (especially this last time) nothing was done and the drinking fountains for the Dogs and Humans rarely work. Some of the benches are rusting and deteriorated Very sad for a city that has many dog owners. I called about the removal of the poop bags and was told that is was to save money...... really? I always bring my own bags anyway but think this would help eliminate people leaving their dogs messes. Embarrassing compared to other dog parks I've visited

Very nice park. I'm not from here and needed to find a park for Buster and I went to like 7 before i found this one. And the people and their dogs are friendly and welcoming and it's clean and lots of parking.

The entire park was empty and he was playing here! Lol

**POOP BOMBS EVERYWHERE WATCH YOUR STEP** There's toys everywhere that people just leave for doggies to enjoy. Lots of water bowls too. Plenty of parking Only one drinking fountain works, bring water just in case I have no idea if there are restrooms near by but I didn't see any ****** So my daughter brought a puppy home a few weeks ago... He is tearing up my house so here we are. He's very popular, all the dogs and the humans adore him. Well, he is really cute. He's 3 months old... he's really not outdoorsy or a fan of non air-conditioned places. I think he's part cat on his mother's side lol

Autumn loves the park because she can run as fast as she can.

This isn't the best park around, but it's still a place I'll go to when San Dimas is closed because of rain. The people there were very friendly, and the dogs were okay too. A couple of them tended to be a bit too aggressive, but the easiest solution to that problem is to stick near your dog. Because even if your dog isn't being the aggressive one you'll at least be there to step in if something goes a bit awry. I noticed the low fences, but didn't worry too much about them. My dog isn't much of a jumper or a runner. If your dog is then stay close to them or don't take them. Was a bit disappointed the grass was patchy and there was tons of mud, but what do you expect when it rains the day before? My biggest issue? There was tons of dog poop around. I saw a few owners cleaning up after their dogs, but obviously there's more than a few who aren't. Poop there ranged from super old to super fresh. As I cleaned up after my dog I did my best to clean up any other poop in the surrounding areas.

First time taking my little dog to the park she likes it unfortunately their is usually more big dogs and sometimes no little dogs but we started going to the dog park in Ontario and their is a lot of smaller dogs

Nice park with plenty of space for my puppet to roam and run around .. Friendly owners and pups. My dog loves it here and there's a good amount of shade and grassy area. It's clean and there's plenty of bags/trash cans for your dog's business. I will probably come back soon.

I came here this afternoon with my husband and our 3 dogs to give them a different change of scenery from the usual dog parks we frequent. Well I was a little bit disappointed because this park seems smaller than other dog parks (Pasadena's dog park & Long Beach is definitely tops in my book),. Also this park has more dirt than grass. I was also not thrilled to see the low fence surrounding the park. Honestly, low fencing could be a problem for dogs that love to jump. Anyways, like all other dog parks that I have been to, there is 2 sides of the park. But when we came, dogs of all sizes were in the larger park of the dog park. There are a few water fountains here (I did remember seeing 1 in the other part of the dog park), dog bag dispensers (1 in the other part of the dog park too) and a metal scooper pooper (and yes, 1 in the other part of the dog park). While walking around the larger part of the dog park, I saw some poop here and there, which makes me think that some owners are not nearly as responsive to pick up their dog's business than others at other dog parks I frequent. But one great thing about this dog park is that it is quite shady and there is also this large blue covering/ tent covering thing that provides plenty of shade from the sun. There is a parking lot right next to the dog park (which seems to share the parking lot with a baseball field... also this dog park is right behind the Metro railroad tracks). By the way, when we came in the afternoon today, there were about 6 or 7 other dogs there in case you wanted to get a feel for the number of dogs are there in the afternoon (around 1-2 pm). I wasn't terribly impressed with this dog park and is definitely not worth a drive to come here, when there are better dog parks. But at least it got the job done of allowing our dogs to run around and meet other 4 legged buddies. I am pretty sure I wouldn't be coming back here.

I have been taking my boxer here in the evenings for almost a year now. She's loves it. She has her group of friends that she loves to play with..but it always happy to meet new friends that seem to appear each evening. Every once in awhile there is a not so friendly pup that shows up but...no real issues. They are dogs, and are not all going to get along all of the time lol..get over it lol. I will continue to have a great time with my girl every evening..ty pooch park.

This really is a great dog park! It is well maintained with a good number of poop bag dispensers…read morescattered around the facility as well as water fountains for the dogs. There are some obstacles for the dogs in the center of the park and even at busy times there is usually enough room to use a ball thrower for your dog to chase balls. Dog Incident Warning - Baldy View Dog…read morePark. Our dog was seriously injured during an incident on 02/25/26 at approximately 6-7pm at Baldy View Dog Park, Upland area, CA and required surgery for multiple bite wounds. One of the dogs involved appeared to be a white French bulldog named Lucy. I'm sharing this to raise awareness for other dog owners. Situations at dog parks can escalate very quickly, even when smaller dogs are involved, and even when owners are present. Update 3/3/26 I believe it's important to share what happened so others can stay aware and hopefully prevent similar incidents. There were two large brown dogs that appeared to be from the same family , along with another dog nearby. The dogs began surrounding our dog, and the situation quickly became tense. Shortly after, the small white French bulldog became involved and grabbed onto our dog as the group pushed her toward the fence. Unfortunately, it all happened very quickly and people were unable to separate them in time. Our dog, Milly, normally does well around other dogs, but in this situation she was outnumbered and seriously injured. A short time later, the same group of dogs reportedly became aggressive toward another dog, and the owners then left the park. I'm sharing this so other dog owners remain cautious and pay close attention to group behavior at dog parks. These situations can develop very quickly.

From down the street, I could see a dog jumping onto another and pinning her down--it did not look like fun, innocent rough-housing. As soon as we walked up, this same dog was barking quite aggressively at mine and exhibited territorial behavior at the front gate. I did not feel comfortable, especially since his owner yelled at him several times from across the park with no success in recalling him (Tito or Titu?). When she walked up to pull him away from the gate I asked if he is a friendly or aggressive dog. She immediately said that he's young and has attacked another dog before--"it depends on the dog's personality." HUH? This is neither your private property nor your dog's to defend. It is a public dog park for dogs to play worry-free and meet friends. I was quite shocked at this and brought my dog over to the small dog side to run around by himself. It was quite a disappointment as my dog is very friendly and just wanted to expel some energy. Beware! Your dog may get attacked due this woman's failure to train her own dog.
