Nice small dog park, plenty of benches to sit, shade, 2 separate sections for big or small dogs, parking since there is a park right next door, grassy. The only con is not enough people pick up after their dog poops.

My dog enjoying the agility gear

My dog had a blast. She met a puppy named Lola. Thank you Lola for tiring out my baby

Fun at the park

Nice size park for little dogs. A lot cleaner and looks like they take care of it. Will be bringing my dog here for sure.

Well well it's me again!! 8 years I've been coming here and not only have I made some great…read morefriendships but Bailey has had the time of his life here and this is literally his 2nd home . Since the renovation we have loved the new walkway for the wheelchairs, crutches, canes or what have you. It's a nice addition. The park looks beautiful and clean. I just wish that we could get some bumpers put around the light pole nearest to the covered tables because the dogs love to run and race the big dogs and more than once a dog including mine has ran smack dam into that pole. It's stunned them and is quite dangerous . Other than that we love this park no matter how many parks we have tried we've always ended up back here at Baldy View it's our dogs home and our home as well. Thanks for making our fur babies a place to romp, be off leash, and a safe place they can call home!

Dog Incident Warning - Baldy View Dog…read morePark. Our dog was seriously injured during an incident on 02/25/26 at approximately 6-7pm at Baldy View Dog Park, Upland area, CA and required surgery for multiple bite wounds. One of the dogs involved appeared to be a white French bulldog named Lucy. I'm sharing this to raise awareness for other dog owners. Situations at dog parks can escalate very quickly, even when smaller dogs are involved, and even when owners are present. Update 3/3/26 I believe it's important to share what happened so others can stay aware and hopefully prevent similar incidents. There were two large brown dogs that appeared to be from the same family , along with another dog nearby. The dogs began surrounding our dog, and the situation quickly became tense. Shortly after, the small white French bulldog became involved and grabbed onto our dog as the group pushed her toward the fence. Unfortunately, it all happened very quickly and people were unable to separate them in time. Our dog, Milly, normally does well around other dogs, but in this situation she was outnumbered and seriously injured. A short time later, the same group of dogs reportedly became aggressive toward another dog, and the owners then left the park. I'm sharing this so other dog owners remain cautious and pay close attention to group behavior at dog parks. These situations can develop very quickly.

Pretty solid dog park in a quaint area. I was able to walk along the track to get some movement in…read moreas my dog played with others. The land is large and split into two sections. One side for small dogs below 25lb and the other side for large dogs 25lb and above or 18 inches tall I believe. Around the dog park is also a play ground to the corner, there are also some public restrooms, and a large patch of grass area. There are plenty of poop bags around the park and lots of parking spaces both in the lot and on the street. After the dog park, I took my pup for a run around the neighborhood and there was a trail nearby but it got dark so I didn't explore it too much. Nicely paved roads all around the area if you want to take a stroll. The area is overall quiet and clean. The dog park gets pretty empty once the sun sets because there's not much light at the park and it gets a bit chilly so try to come before then. I came here at least 3 times and of all those times, this place is packed with lovely fur babies! Overall, great dog park.

Initially, I was hesitant about taking our pugs to a dog park, but I mellowed out after the first visit. We had zero issues on this visit, and it seemed people were good about controlling their dogs and picking up after them. Our pups had a blast running around and playing with the other dogs. On a second visit, a male arrived with a dog and walking it on-leash. At first, I wondered why the dog was on a leash because the rules indicate the dogs need to be off-leash. Several minutes later, the male removed the leash, and the dog began to charge other dogs including ours. Since the male had the dog on a leash, the male clearly knew his dog was aggressive. After making immediate suggestions to the male to secure his dog, there were no further problems. However, it was somewhat traumatic for one of our pugs that was attacked. Just a reminder that some dogs, regardless of size with irresponsible owners, can be aggressive.

We love this dog park - there's always a bunch of parking in the parking lot across the dog park…read more They also separate it into two sections, one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Both sections have bench and table seating, as well as sand and fake grass/turf all around for the dogs to run around in and do their business on. They also have water bowls, tennis balls, and poop bags & trash cans all around. The parks are well maintained and we haven't had any issues at either park, other than little flies that fly around us during humid or warm weather. We also found that the small dog park has a little more shade than the large dog park. All in all, my dog loves it here, even though the dogs can be a little antisocial sometimes and just stick around their owners (like mine).

Large dog area -…read more First, The Good: plenty of parking (street and lot), most people and dogs have been friendly, maintenance on par compared to what I've seen at other dog parks, and the turf isn't ideal but it's better than an all dust-land. Also, the small-dog area looks to be a bit nicer and offer more shade. Next, The Bad: across 2 visits within the same week I've seen at least one person each time, either watch or be told that their dog pooped and do absolutely nothing about it. Ironically enough, a different person talking to each the offending dog owners, went around picking up dog poop that wasn't their own dogs. Really weird extremes by patrons, ranging from "I don't care" to "I'll clean up after everyone." It'd be better if everyone just payed attention and did their part, or was at least receptive to others letting them know about it. Also, there's a clique-y vibe at certain times, so take that for what it's worth.
