Since the renovation we have loved the new walkway for the wheelchairs, crutches, canes or what have you. It's a nice addition. The park looks beautiful and clean. I just wish that we could get some bumpers put around the light pole nearest to the covered tables because the dogs love to run and race the big dogs and more than once a dog including mine has ran smack dam into that pole. It's stunned them and is quite dangerous . Other than that we love this park no matter how many parks we have tried we've always ended up back here at Baldy View it's our dogs home and our home as well. Thanks for making our fur babies a place to romp, be off leash, and a safe place they can call home!

Our dog was seriously injured during an incident on 02/25/26 at approximately 6-7pm at Baldy View Dog Park, Upland area, CA and required surgery for multiple bite wounds. One of the dogs involved appeared to be a white French bulldog named Lucy. I'm sharing this to raise awareness for other dog owners. Situations at dog parks can escalate very quickly, even when smaller dogs are involved, and even when owners are present. Update 3/3/26 I believe it's important to share what happened so others can stay aware and hopefully prevent similar incidents. There were two large brown dogs that appeared to be from the same family , along with another dog nearby. The dogs began surrounding our dog, and the situation quickly became tense. Shortly after, the small white French bulldog became involved and grabbed onto our dog as the group pushed her toward the fence. Unfortunately, it all happened very quickly and people were unable to separate them in time. Our dog, Milly, normally does well around other dogs, but in this situation she was outnumbered and seriously injured. A short time later, the same group of dogs reportedly became aggressive toward another dog, and the owners then left the park. I'm sharing this so other dog owners remain cautious and pay close attention to group behavior at dog parks. These situations can develop very quickly.

The dog park is situated more in the back where the skate ring dome structure is located. I observed many pet and their parents here during the evening and weekends. Best time to come here for smaller dogs are early mornings on the weekdays . Some small dogs are just not "okay" with big dogs so adding that path in the middle is awesome. Came by on a Friday afternoon and it was slow in the small dog park side but the big dog side was poppin'. I only wish they added more trash cans for poop bags. They have one but it's right by the entrance so if you're wayyy on the other side you have to walk back. Which is fine but I feel like having more trash areas will encourage more people to pick up their dogs poop. Though they should regardless but ya know how it goes. Also, there is only 1 water fountain and it's outside of the dog park. So, if your dog is thirsty you're going to have to leash them up to go outside and then come back inside. Other than that, a nice park for the doggos.

To be…read morefair, I even waited months and tried another daycare before posting this, and since leaving in September 2025, my dog has been going to Wags Club regularly with zero behavioral issues. Before that, my dog was a regular here for about a year and a half, daycare twice a week and boarding 4-6 times a year. Toward the end, we started getting messages about her being "too excited," nipping, or snapping. What was confusing is that these incidents were very spaced out, especially given how often she was there, and didn't seem consistent or escalating. We were then told they may need to "reconsider her social status," meaning she'd be removed from group play and placed in separated daycare for an extra fee. Based on how sporadic the feedback had been, it felt like a sudden shift and left me feeling like she was being singled out toward the end. I did ask if someone from management could reach out to talk it through, but never received a follow up, which was disappointing. It's also disappointing because we had many positive experiences, but based on the contrast, I do think environment or handling may play a role. I'd recommend asking detailed questions if any concerns come up.

There are great views of the Jurupa Valley, shade, water, trash cans and poop bags every couple of hundred yards and it's just a really nice dog park, one of the best I've seen! The people are nice and appear to actually clean up after their dogs! Some are talkative, others keep to themselves but the majority of people at least speak! It's such a nice atmosphere versus other parks that aren't well maintained! I'm so happy to have found a dog park where I don't have to worry about anything and can just sit and watch the dogs play! This is definitely the best I've found in the valley so far!
