My old dentist just didn't cut it for me anymore and I stopped visiting the offices for more than 4 years. Yes, that's right, I haven't been to the dentist in more than 4 years. You're all askin, "But Andrew, your teeth look really good." I know. It's true. It is pretty amazing. But seriously, my standard of dental visits was I go in, wait 30 minutes for the dental hygienists, get cleaned up for about 30 minutes, wait 40 minutes for the dentist, dentist sees me for about 20 minutes. That's 2 hours. Everytime! No wonder I get anxiety going to the dentist, especially when they have no good news for me. After experiencing some sensitivity, I decided to take the plunge and try out Dr. Oberg. Her staff are absolutely wonderful. When booking an appointment in person, they spoke with Blue Cross and I got a breakdown of how much services were as well as the why. Yes, that's what I'm so excited about. Her staff explain and break things down to me assuring me that it's always my choice and they were real people rather than the face of a business. I like how everyone from the administrator, to the dental assistant, to the dental hygienist relate to you on a personal level. I feel like Dr. Oberg's energy and enthusiasm trickles down to every one of her staff as they take the time and attention to address your concerns. Although very busy, they were able to fit me in to get an examination and cleaning in a span of two weeks with following up if I to see if I could come in earlier due to cancellations. The overall procedures went by very quickly and it took longer because I had so many questions. Questions that I found out from friends and colleagues that are normal for them but I found was so refreshing with Dr. Oberg. She sat down with me and went over pretty much every tooth in my mouth on the TV, gave her recommendations and explained in lament terms of why it's important. She answered my concerns and I left feeling very safe and assured that at the end of the day, my health is her biggest priority. Although their fees are slightly higher than the Alberta Blue Cross guide (by a marginal few dollars), I am happy now to say I will see them in 6 months for cleaning. They made promises. They said they would support me. But when I called them, the response was cold, dismissive, and downright insulting. The receptionist treated me as if I was begging for charity, not as a patient who has suffered years of pain because of their mistake. When I pressed for real help, their reply was: "If you want to take us to court, we're ready." Yes, that was their response to my suffering. Eventually, they offered to send me to a specialist... just for an assessment. No treatment. No compensation. No responsibility. What am I supposed to do with an "assessment" after two years of pain? I needed action, not empty gestures. They now claim they're not responsible, despite causing all of this in the first place. This is not just bad service. It's medical negligence. It's disrespect. It's cruelty. I will not stop until I get justice ,through the law. I will fight for the repair of my teeth and for compensation for the pain and damage they caused me. To anyone reading this: stay far away. This is the kind of place that damages you and then dares you to do something about it. I went back to him four times, and every single time, he would just shave down the fillings. No real solution, no care, no accountability. Eventually, I gave up. I was tired, in pain, and completely hopeless. Months later, the pain became so severe that I returned to the same clinic -- still hoping for help. Dr. Hadi saw me again and told me something that broke me: all four molars now needed to be removed. How? Why? All I wanted was a cleaning. I refused, because I couldn't afford such an extreme treatment. But now, two years later, most of my teeth are damaged, and I can't even brush properly without intense pain. I've been living like this, in silent suffering, because one doctor didn't care enough to do his job right the first time. Dr. Hadi, you failed me. You ignored the pain you caused. You destroyed my teeth. And worst of all, you never took responsibility. To anyone thinking of visiting this clinic: think twice. One mistake here can cost you years of pain, just like it did for me. Had three bad experiences…read more First. Had a regular check up and cleaning done, everything went well. After we were done I was put into a side room full of merchandise and was trying to be talked into buying a very expensive electric toothbrush. I kept saying I would think about it, after about 5-10 mins trying to push this product in me they finally stopped and took me to pay my bill. Second time I needed a retainer replaced for my front bottom teeth. Thought everything went well till a couple of hours later I started getting a very bad headache. Thought nothing of it. After a couple of day I went back to get the retainer readjusted. Took two separate visits till it was done right, instantly the headaches went away. About a month later the retainer broke off of my tooth and cut my tongue, so I took it out myself and threw it away. My third visit was for a cleaning and check up. All went well till the billing. They put I through and as I was about to leave I checked to see what they charged me for. Two procedures on the bill they didn't do, X-rays and fluoride. I brought this to their attention and I was told, "we'll get you next time". I believe that is insurance fraud, but what ever. Let's just say I found a new dentist in the area. Super happy now.

All the staff seem genuinely happy in their positions and try to make your time there as comfortable as possible. I've had multiple hygienists and they are all gentle and professional. Jan has worked in the front office for years and she is the most lovely woman! I had a dental emergency on a holiday Monday when they were closed and they called me first thing the next morning and I was able to see Dr. Grant that afternoon.
