As an adult, I keep track of my appointments and dont want to be infantilized. If you don't confirm an appointment by the time they want, they will cancel your slot and make you an 'anytime appointment'. I understand needing a schedule, but I really dont like threats. Additionally, they just didn't show up for an appointment they pestered me about and when i contacted them at 6pm, i got an 'oopsie' reply from a third party person who said i'd be contacted by the office. That was several months ago so.... All in all I just didn't appreciate how I was treated.

So I started looking at Home Advisor, Angie's List, etc... and I couldn't find anyone who could give me a quote over the phone, even though I knew exactly what I wanted to be done. I also didn't want to drive the hour round trip to find out it was a bait and switch, or a massive upsell. Finally, I decided to look at Yelp* and I am so glad I did. I found Bernard White who owns All Pro Pest Control. Bernard did several things that I liked- First he listened to my problem. Then he listened to my solution. Then he said he understood exactly what I was looking for and quoted me a price. A firm price, based on the scope of the work. We set up a date for him to come and confirm the work needed, confirm the price and actually do the work in ONE TRIP. Bless you, Bernard! A man of integrity who actually listens to the customers wants and needs and delivers! However, on that date, it had been raining heavily, and while Bernard was willing, I waved him off, saying it wasn't an emergency and could wait till it dried out so he would not have to slog in the mud outside. We waited a few days and then on the day it worked for both of us he sent his awesome son Clayton to start the job, with Bernard following up to do the paperwork and billing. I must say Clayton is a very personable you man with impeccable manners and excellent communication skills. Bernard and his Lovely Wife have something to be really proud of. Yes, I rarely would gush over something as pedestrian as pest control, but I can't help but give a major shout out to Bernard, Clayton and All-Pro Pest Control. I used their services at the tow different animal clinics I managed because they use pet friendly chemicals, as well as, I have used them for two homes I have owned. I've just never met someone who provides a service to me that is so gregarious and nice as these two guys. When I moved to Little Elm, I did not realize they would came out this far and I used a different company who failed miserably because I still had ants. Had a raccoon bust into my attic by tearing open part of the eaves on my roof. After hearing it…read morecome and go for a few nights, I knew I had a problem. I reached out to Rodent Retreat specifically because they are a local veteran-owned business, not a franchise. The whole team was amazing. I was able to schedule an inspection right away, and the gentleman who came explained different options to humanely remove the raccoon and prevent any other critters (including field mice and roof rats) from getting to the house. Based on the services I selected, they came back several times to repair the eaves, seal up possible points of entry on the roof and around the foundation, set rodent traps in the attic and garage, and sanitize the attic. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly friendly and polite, communication was exceptional, and pricing is very reasonable, especially given the high quality of service.
