I have been coming to this practice for over 20 years, since i was a child. The staff is always nice, but there has recently been a noticeable decline in the quality of care received. In the last year, two routine procedures have gone wrong, each requiring additional appointments for corrections. My visits also feel consistently rushed, and more often than not I leave with a feeling that something isn't right, only to confirm later that my original issue wasn't resolved, or that a new one has developed. I don't know whether this reflects a staffing shortage, an increased patient load, or something else entirely. But the experience no longer reflects the standard of care I came to trust. Dr Clark got paid in full by my insurance carrier in late 2024. As of 4/13/2025, I have yet to receive the petmanent crowns. I also informed them in 02/2025 that I needed 2 addituonal crowns peior to mid June 2925. As of 4/13/2025, nothing has been sone and I will likely attend my event in mid June 2025 with 2 gapinf holes in my mouth. Considering filing a comolaint wuth the licencing boars atp. read more

Horrible experience with the office staff. They temp crown they put in has a part stabbing into my tongue. After over 15 minutes on hold they said I couldn't get help for two more days. I came into the office to wait just incase they have a spare 5 minutes to fix this. Some lady in the office said, "you can't bully us into seeing you". Although I can't complain about the actual work this dentist did. I have serious complaints about their billing and ethical business conduct. After my procedure was over, I paid my bill in full and scheduled a follow up appointment and once that appointment was concluded and I was about to pay that bill in full, I was asked to schedule another appointment that would consist of a fitting for partials. However, once told the amount of that appointment, I realized that the price was far higher than the listed price (On their website.). I asked why was the price higher than listed and he receptionist could not explain and told me that I wouldn't be charged for the cleaning done that day because I had a credit listed on the computer. When I asked for the amount of the credit she began a dance of deflection in attempt NOT to answer my question. After several minutes of redirecting her back to my question, I realized that it was pointless. I told her I would NOT be making another appointment until I went home and dug a little deeper for the answer she was refusing to give me. Once home, I went to their website and printed out the prices for each procedure done. I then contacted the dental plan company and together with the agent discovered that I was overcharged by a little over $400.00's. I decided to wait until I was called for another cleaning appointment to address the overcharges. The young lady for this dentist went over the pricing and discovered that someone put in the wrong codes and that's what resulted in me being over billed. She then told me that the dentist would make the necessary adjustment and contact me by the end of the business day. Unfortunately; The business day ended with no return call. I called the office the next day and was told they would be calling me around1:45pm. I called them at 2:05pm only to have my call instantly sent to voice mail. I quickly picked up one of my other phones and called the dentist back and wouldn't you know it; they picked up right away. This is when the young lady told me that Clark went over the bill, saw where I was over charged, but some how came to the conclusion that I owed over $150.00's. Understand this: I paid my bill in full, was overcharged, and somehow I owed money. Clark could have done the right and ethical thing and just refund me what I was over charged. Instead, he chose to not only double down, but with a shameless showing of buffoonery, he attempted to extort me out of even more money. For each day I am defrauded out of my money, I will go to every legitimate business complaint page and share the unethical business practices of this dentistry. I wish I could give them a 1/2 of a star. read more

Awful. They are nice people but they are disorganized and do poor work. I got a root canal and they were supposed to place my crown afterwards. Temp crown after temp crown he just couldn't get it right and I kept having to come back. My last straw was him placing a broken crown "permanently" in my mouth. The dentist- Amazing. Loved him and his personality. His assistant made me feel so welcome and they could both keep up a conversation. Don't get me wrong, I wanted to stay at this dentist because of them alone. But their girls at the front desk are incredibly unprofessional and rude. Secretary was speaking to the other girl back there and looking at her, turned towards her, when she asked for my name. I didn't know she was speaking to me obviously, so I didn't respond. She looks at me and rudely asked 'your name?' When I place my phone on the counter to give her my insurance card, while I'm looking for an ID she looks at the other girl and they exchange a look and a laugh before she turned back to me and asked if I didn't have an actual cards. I say no, my billfold was stolen (not to mention it's 2017, I'm 21, and everything is digital). With my insurance, there's only so many dentists in the area. So while on the phone later with the receptionist, I list off the oral surgeons in my area and she says 'well none of them have an on staff 7 day a week oral surgeon. They rotate, so if something were to go wrong you wouldn't be able to see him again.' So I ask, who then should I go to? 'I don't know...' She trailed off, so I hung up. So I found one, Dental Care Centre of Macon. Called her, and she said the same thing about their oral surgeon. At this point, my mouth was in such pain from my wisdom teeth. She refuses to send a referral to this dentist. This shows me that she was basically refusing to send a referral to anybody in the area and I was fucked. Sent x-rays that they never received, so that's great. When I returned to Clark to recieve anything I needed to transfer to another primary dentist, they refused to give me my x-rays. Said they'd already sent them. I didn't even argue, just left I was so fed up. It should have been common sense I wanted them printed and given to me OR that my dentist never received them or maybe I was going to another dentist?? (hence me driving in to speak in person), but apparently you have to spell it out for those women. They make you stand there without acknowledging you for a bit, they hold conversations not pertaining to work while working on my payment, etc. Rude, unprofessional, and you've lost my business. The fact that she was refusing to send a referral to ANY dentist was NUTS. None fit the criteria, so screw the pain I was in apparently. Screw that this was needing to be done NOW, they were no help. Thank God for Dental Care Centre of Macon the next day for taking me without a referral and nothing to base me off of. This entire situation was ridiculous. read more
