My mom has been having the same ongoing issue with the same crown coming off her crown popped off on July 6, 2023 she wasn't eating anything she was simply TALKING the rude desk staff called on July 10, 2023 for her to come in at 4pm I was hesitant on taking her back to this place because this is unacceptable he forced putting the same crown that clearly doesn't fit as a temporary the same day her face was swollen He didn't numb her when drilling her tooth. He also nicked her tongue with the drill it is now Sunday morning July 16, 2023 and her tongue is still in pain. We are never returning back and I honestly hope he doesn't see another patient again that explains all of the cancellations and open appointments he has. Oh and at my last cleaning he didn't even have the decency to come look at my teeth afterwards. Please please please go elsewhere to a dentist that cares about their patients. UPDATE: 7/20/2023 my mother received a rude voicemail from the unprofessional desk staff stating that it is normal for the dentist to not numb patients before drilling which is insane she is still in pain to this day she was not caring at all about the situation and stated that she will remove us from the schedule which is fine because I never enjoyed having someone in my mouth that is not groomed and looks like he just rolled out of bed. My suggestion would be that you put the time and effort that you spend getting new fancy equipment and at least look presentable at work. I love their customer service and patient care service. I feel that I received top notch care to the fullest every time I had dental work done. The hygienist was just as amazing and made sure I understood the plan of care as I was being treated by her. Her customer service was exceptional as well. I want to really highlight the office manager Ms. Sumaya because she is the face of the company. I strive on exceptional customer service from the front office, prior to even seeing the providers. She was the first one I met and it has always been a pleasure. She is sweet, caring and sincere. Before leaving, I was never confused about the billing process and charges. Each time I go, I look forward to seeing her beautiful smile that's inviting. Before I saw Dr. Hartwig, I hadn't seen a dentist in roughly 4 years due to a mixture of equal…read moreparts apathy, finances, and... of course... fear. This creates a recipe for what I call Disaster Mouth (pairs perfectly with Disaster Body if you also avoid the doctor). Needless to say, I was embarrassed and nervous before I finally made an appointment, but as soon as I walked into the office, all my trepidation and worry melted away at the warm and caring environment I was welcomed into. My awkward jokes were received with laughs as opposed to the usual blank stares I get, which was nice. The environment feels a lot more like you are visiting with good friends who just happen to really care about your teeth. Miss Debbie, who cleaned my teeth, made me feel more like I was at the spa getting a facial, only for my teeth. Tiny, little teeth facials, if you can imagine. Dr. Hartwig explained what was going on with my teeth due to years of maintaining a diet of mostly cake and candy, and gave me hope that my teeth wouldn't yet fall out of my head now that we have an action plan and a consistent maintenance schedule. At the end of my visit, I did not have to peel myself off of the chair due to me losing my body weight in sweat from the pain and anxiety I have experienced with previous dentists and hygienists. I was relaxed, happy, and dry as a bone. I went back the following week for some fillings, and the experience was just as pleasant as the first one, even though there were scarier instruments involved. Typically, even a minimal amount of pain is expected when receiving a giant needle to the gums, even with the most skilled hands, and I was prepared for that, but Dr. Hartwig performed some type of magic in which I did not feel any pain, whatsoever; not even a pinch! She was able to quickly drill and fill not just one but two of my teeth, with no pain or discomfort at any given point. Dr. Hartwig and her staff are nothing short of miracle workers in every capacity; they have managed to minimize the stress that often accompanies visits to the dentist, and have transformed it into a fun, pleasant event that makes you feel like you're winning at adulting. I've stopped eating cake for (most) dinners, and am so grateful to have found Dr. Hartwig and her staff, and look forward to my next and every visit with this amazing team.

Another dentist had recommended simply replacing the fillings on those teeth. However, that other dentist also recommended putting two crowns on the front tooth. This little kid dentist missed that completely. When I brought this to his attention, he recommended leaving those teeth alone completely. So, we have two different dentists in two different practices with two different opinions of what needs to be done. The common thread is they both chose expensive procedures but for different teeth. They have this really fancy machine that has a wand on it. It goes in your mouth and creates a 3D image of your teeth. From this 3D image, the little kid dentist made his recommendations. He mentioned one tooth was cracked. Was it cracked or was that a surface stain? A surface image won't show that. If only there was some invention that could show the condition of a tooth on the inside to show cracks, decays. If only someone would invent something that could show the actual condition of the teeth. Oh, yeah, like X-Rays which they took but never referenced. Red flag. They had this round faced girl come in and put pointy things in my mouth and said you need a deep cleaning. I looked at her point blank and said we're not doing that! The look on her face just melted like a snowflake. I told her the old name for this procedure which is called splitting the gums? Guess why it was called that and guess why they changed the name? The financial officer came in with a five page amounting to thousands of what they were going to do. Of that, the insurance would only cover 40%. Very fishy that two dentists say two different thing.
