I would not recommend purchasing anything from the elizabethtown store. My experience with the…read moremanager has been horrible. I have been a zales customer since 2004 and have been a satisfied customer until going to the elizabethtown store. About two months ago my wife and I took her 3ct bridal set in for its 6 month inspection. While in there my wife saw a 1.5 ct solitaire that she liked. (1.51 princess cut H color i1 clarity and very good cut GSI graded) We went back and forth on pricing and the manager would not combine a 200.00 coupon that zales sent ( which even said that could be used with other discounts) in the mail. Needless to say I am thankful that he didn't. I found a better quality diamond ( 1.52 princess cut h color SI2 clarity excellent cut GIA graded) at genesis diamonds for about 2k cheaper. Fast forward to this week. I thought I would give zales another shot and bought her a solitaire enhancement. Used the $200 coupon on a sale piece that also qualified for 15% off. Once we got home with it she was not 100% happy with it. No big deal we know zales has a pretty fair return/ exchange policy. She found one she liked at the jeffersonville mall. We had it shipped to elizabethtown store so we could exchange. The manager Duane asked how we combined three discounts as if I rang myself up. He refused to honor the 200.00 dollar zales coupon again even though I was returning the piece I used it for. I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. Zales lost a ten year customer. I will now make genesis diamonds my new jewelry store

The store is awful in my opinion, people must not have been trained. Go to any other store if your…read moreserious, otherwise you will waste your time and MONEY!!!! The manager is a bit of a joke, as he is out of place. The vibe you receive from him is, "I just show up and do nothing, and they continue to pay me, that's why I'm in the jewelry business." Other employees are too old and should be in a home by now, you over hear too many employees asking other employees if their doing it correct, or can they get help doing a simple task, like ringing out a customer. More training I would suggest or new management.
