The only downfall is the receptionist was a bit loud when asking personal questions. They could work on discretion. The reception desk is close to lobby so anyone can hear what your being asked. I'd rather not have people hear. Most dental offices I've been in are very quiet when asking same questions.

As a 28 year old who has been to the dentist for cleaning every 6 months for over 20 years, I don't know why this started. I have been very open about my dental anxiety with this office and I know it is listed on my patient profile as well. My anxiety is so intense that they usually only do the bare minimum for cleaning, because that's all I can handle. I've never been prescribed anti anxiety medication for these appointments. They are not very compassionate towards my feelings when I come in. This is the only office that has ever pushed me to remove my wisdom teeth. As I finally decided to, I was told I would be put under general anesthesia. When I got there for the procedure, I was told 5 minutes before the procedure, that I would not be completely under or asleep the whole time. As someone who already has serve anxiety, this was super scary and I had no time to prepare. I woke up multiple times throughout the wisdom teeth removal and was in intense panick mode. When I woke up after the procedure was completed the nurse who was in the room with me, excessively repeated "breath through your nose and open your eyes" in frustrated/rude tone. I was trying to breath through my nose but was struggling to stop hyperventilating at the same time. And my eyes were already open. I tried to clam down so I could leave as soon as possible. I felt that while this office may be good for the general patient, if you have any sort of elevated dental anxiety, I would NOT recommend coming here. They just don't seem to be as compassionate as I wish they would be and they almost seem annoyed that I experience this uncontrolable anxiety. I cannot speak on their services because I feel mine are done a bit differently than the average persons (due to the anxiety that I experience)

At my first visit for a painful tooth, they took numerous X-rays with almost no explanation or communication. The dentist eventually came in, briefly told me what needed to be done, and I was sent off with antibiotics. No X-rays shown, no real discussion. During the root canal, despite explaining my anxiety and mild claustrophobia, they tried to force in an oversized plastic piece without a word. When I couldn't tolerate it, they only then tried a less massive option. The chair was reclined so far that my head was below my hips, which made the experience even more stressful. I was left hanging like that for nearly two hours without a break to sit up. Later, no aftercare instructions were provided. The billing was just as frustrating. Because of an error on the claims form, the insurance sent the reimbursement check to me instead of the office. When I brought in the payment, the office manager was defensive and rude, blaming the insurance despite it clearly being their mistake. A few days later, I received the exact same payment request again, despite already having paid, and with proof of payment. Not sure, what goes on in their office, but it seems pretty disorganized to me. I really wanted to like this place, but this was one of the worst dental experiences I've had. I won't be back.

Ignore their review. Moving right along... I have seen A LOT of dentists in my lifetime and it's been at least 15 years since I actually had a GOOD dentist. Everyone since that has royally messed up my teeth and done shotty work and were rough as heck. I had lost faith in dentists and began avoiding them. But my most recent crown came unsealed (thanks to my last nepo dentist) and I had no choice. So I looked around and found Beams. They had decent reviews so I thought fine. I am SO glad I chose Beams!!! Dr. Kimi is AWESOME!!!!! She is so very kind, patient, and most importantly does AMAZING work!!! She is super gentle and she always answers my annoyingly curious questions. The hygienists are also all so very kind and friendly also patient and willing to answer questions. And the staff is so very welcoming! They remembered who I was after the first visit and greeted me by name when I came in for my second visit. Everyone is so beyond warm and welcoming and it feels like the old days where the dentist felt like family. They also have state of the art technology like this contraption that scans of your mouth and creates 3D renders of your teeth and everything going on in them and the dentist can mess with the images on a touch screen. Like what?!?! I'd never ever seen anything like that! I have now been to Beams several times and I never leave disappointed. I absolutely LOVE it here. OH and I also love how you can communicate through text! I rarely have time to make or take calls these days so text is beyond convenient and the way of the modern world. Honestly, the only negative mark towards Beams is their non-mobile friendly website . PLEASE update the website! lol. Overall, Beams is top of the line as far as I'm concerned and I hope they and Dr. Kimi especially stick around for a long time!

Besides lying to me, they also tried to make me pay an additional money $160.00 for an added plus type novacaine for a filling. I do not need EXTRA novacaine! If you value transparency, just ask. I started with a consultation, we discussed a treatment plan, and I received a detailed quote. Perfect. As I followed the plan through my fourth appointment, I asked for an updated printout outlining my remaining treatment and the expected costs for each visit. The dental assistant reviewed a change in my estimate and explained that the additional treatment may or may not be necessary, but it was better to have it included than be caught off guard later. I appreciated the honesty. She also offered to submit everything to my insurance for processing. Do you, boo! From my experience, this office is exceptional. I've arrived on time for every appointment, checked in, paid my portion upfront, and typically waited only 5-10 minutes before being called back. The X-ray technician is incredibly sweet. The hygienist is wonderful, she takes her time and thoroughly examines your teeth. Dr. Gaddis and her dental assistant were extremely careful during my tooth extraction. The moment I felt uncomfortable, they paused to check on me and make sure I was okay. What really prompted me to leave this review happened today. I stopped by because I had been losing sleep, worried that one of my stitches had come loose after my extraction. There were three staff members at the front desk, and the dental assistant who helped with my procedure came out as well. Every single one of them reassured me that it was completely normal after a couple of days. I felt a little silly asking, but they listened without judgment and even asked whether the area was still hurting. When I told them it was still tender, they reassured me that was normal too. This dental office healed a part of the 16-year-old version of me that had a traumatic experience getting my wisdom teeth removed. Their patience, compassion, transparency, and genuine care have completely changed the way I feel about going to the dentist. Thank you for making what used to be a stressful experience feel safe again.

Recently the customer service in the front was so horrible while I was checking in for my appointment I ended up canceling it due to the attitude. The employee was rude and had me call my dental benefits and waste my time to confirm what I already said. After being frustrated and going back and forth in-person with the front lady (same day as the appointment) she said she would waive the fee but I would get billed in the mail and have to deal with insurance on my own and contact my HR. Not once did she reach out to insurance and I was never asked any of these questions prior to the appointment. I asked her about information for the year and she was not very unhelpful so I just canceled. When I left I called my insurance myself and then called back and was put on hold for a while(again wasting my time). I communicated to her I was correct. She was extremely rude calling me Miss. (First Name) every time she spoke to me and kept saying per our conversation and changing the wording repeating herself. I just got tired of wasting my time and told her I wanted to speak to her manager about how rude she is and the customer service not provided. She said her manager left and everything was recorded in a weird tone. I asked her what that meant because I was in person prior and really that sounded just weird in general to say I was recorded in a dental office. I told her that is good her service is recorded and I wanted to speak to the Dentist. I have been a patient for some years and spend thousands of dollars there and the service should be better. She said she would notify the Dentist. After some time I get a call and it's the same lady I just spoke to! She called back rudely requesting information from my discussion with my dental provider. I told her I didn't want to talk to her but the Dentist about her service because I would hope she is unaware of how she treats her customers. The lady said she would tell the Dentist something else and I couldn't talk to the dentist unless I provided more information. Who knows what she communicated, so I messaged the office about making a complaint and no followup so far. My husband used to go to this dentist and got frustrated arguing with another front rude lady that used to work there so he found another one. It was an I told you so conversation from him. The staff at the front are the first line of contact and if they have issues with customer service and communication I'm going somewhere else. I pay way too much on my teeth to be treated that way.

When I insisted on a cold test, the sensation went away immediately -- it did not linger. According to the American Association of Endodontists, a diagnosis of irreversible pulpitis (the clinical justification for a root canal) requires lingering pain of 30 seconds or longer after the cold stimulus is removed. A sensation that disappears instantly is actually consistent with a healthy or reversible response. Despite this, Dr. Kim told me the result proved I needed a root canal -- which directly contradicts standard endodontic diagnostic criteria. Additionally, no written cost estimate was provided before the procedure. Under the federal No Surprises Act, healthcare providers -- including dental offices -- are legally required to provide a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before any non-emergency service. I was only told the cost after the root canal was completed, which is a violation of this patient protection law. A second opinion from another dentist confirmed my concerns about the cold test interpretation. This experience felt rushed, financially motivated, and lacking in the diagnostic thoroughness that patients deserve. I would strongly encourage anyone here to seek a second opinion before agreeing to any invasive procedure, and to specifically request a written cost estimate upfront -- it is your legal right.

My 84-year-old father recently had a very troubling experience with this dental office, and after…read moremaking every reasonable effort to resolve the matter privately, I feel compelled to share what occurred. My father is an elderly patient who was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He speaks very softly; he stutters and struggles with mobility. As a result, he is particularly vulnerable and depends on healthcare providers to communicate clearly, exercise patience, and treat him with dignity and professionalism. The problems began during the crown process, on April 20, 2026. At the temporary crown appointment, my father informed the technician that the temporary crown had a rough edge. He was told not to worry about it. He also received very little guidance regarding aftercare and had to ask questions himself about eating, brushing, and flossing. Just a few days later, part of the temporary crown fell out, requiring an additional visit to have it reattached. A few days after that, the same portion fell out again. By the time he returned for his final crown appointment, the temporary crown was once again broken. During the final crown appointment on May 2, 2026, the technician removed the temporary crown and attempted to place the permanent crown. When it did not fit properly, the dentist, Dr. Kirandeep Kaur, entered the room and attempted to adjust the crown by grinding or drilling it outside of my father's mouth. The crown was then placed again, and my father was sent for an X-ray. After returning to the treatment room, my father was instructed to bite down on the crown. The crown cracked. My father immediately asked, "Did it crack?" The dentist responded, "Yes." At that point, my father expressed that he was unhappy with the experience. The dentist apologized and explained that another crown would need to be made. She further indicated that she could produce a replacement crown using a lower-quality material because it could be completed more quickly, and that the fee would be reduced. A staff member from the front desk later entered the room to ask why my father was unhappy. He explained the sequence of events and his concerns. Afterward, the dentist suggested beginning treatment on another tooth while waiting for the replacement crown process. My father declined. What is most disappointing is what happened afterward. On May 5, 2026, I personally visited the office and met privately with the office manager, Bella. The office was empty at the time, and our conversation was cordial and respectful. I specifically stated that my goal was not to create conflict, but rather to resolve the matter professionally and privately. I explained that I preferred to spread "light and love" rather than anger and that I hoped we could reach a fair resolution. I requested three simple actions: 1. A written apology to my father. 2. That his account balance be reduced to zero. 3. That his complete dental records be provided so he could seek treatment elsewhere and complete any remaining work with another provider. I requested that these actions be completed by May 9, 2026. The only request that was honored was the release of his records. No apology was provided. The account balance was not adjusted. Instead, my father later received a bill that included charges related to the replacement crown that became necessary after the original crown cracked during the fitting process. I am particularly disappointed because the office was given an opportunity to resolve this matter privately and respectfully. Rather than addressing the concerns of an elderly Parkinson's patient and demonstrating accountability, they chose not to follow through on the requested resolution. Patients deserve competent care, clear communication, and professional treatment--especially elderly patients who may be less able to advocate for themselves. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

My brother did not receive the plastic syringe for the after care and it's been weeks now and luckily through my insurance I was able to run and pick one up. The point of the plastic syringe is to fill with water and clean the wound in your mouth post eating. If not, you have open pockets that can fill with food, which will essentially rot and cause pain and infections. The dentist and technicians should have given him directions PRE surgery and after. If it wasn't for me explaining my recovery care, he may have never know. Which would have resulted in an infection, hence more $$ spent on something that could have 100% be prevented. I'm extremely discouraged by his experience. FUTURE PATIENTS - BE CAUTIOUS.
