I've been going to this shop for several years now. "Discovered" it after a colossal fail at one of the other places in town. Austin and Sam are craftsmen in every sense of the word -- a very good word. They do one thing, and they do it very well -- they cut hair the way YOU want it cut. You walk in, you wait your turn, and you get a great cut at a very reasonable price. This is the way it was in the 50s when I was growing up as a kid. Good to find this kind of quality in today's uncertain world. These 2 men have worked hard with this shop. Whatever personal issues are going on for them right now, we must all come together and support this local business when restrictions are no longer in place. These guys are a class act, to think that they feel "entitled" in any way is to display ignorance of how hard they've worked. They don't have to explain themselves or make apologies. Wow, what a great experience. I finally got fed up with getting my hair cut at the chain salons and making a trip back for a fix EVERY time. I'm so glad I headed to Clark's. Austin gave me the best cut I've had in years. Sam kept everyone in the place in stitches. It's an upbeat environment. Ladies: This is no beauty salon. Guys: The magazine rack is full of issues of Gun Dog a Handyman, Say no more. When I moved to Loveland 3 1/2 years ago, I was fortunate to have met Jack as my barber. Then he retired and Austin took his chair. I'm an old fussy guy that has been getting a razor and layered cut for years. I told Austin what I wanted and he just smiled. I believe he knows every trick in the book. I just moved here from Maryland April 2017. I tried a few of the chain barber shops and was disappointed. Went to Clark's and my wife said I got the haircut in over a decade. The cut was I think $15 and I tipped the barber $5.00 because he really took his time and did such a GREAT job! read more
