We stop by Clarks every chance we get since there is one particular shoe that my mom loves and uses. It's her absolute favorite go to shoe for all day comfort. It's a score when we can find it in the outlets. It doesn't always happen, but since fall shoes are being stocked we thought we would find it. As soon as we walked in, Alex asked us if we were looking for anything in particular. I told her the name of the model of shoe and she said that she didn't think that they had it. She helped us search around, and also took it upon herself to Google the model so she could be sure. She then proceeded to let us know that the shoe sometimes comes in and if we wanted to leave our name and number so she could call us when it did. Wow!!! For years we have walked in to Clarks multiple times a year and never had such a good experience. Thanks Alex for providing great customer service. I Purchase three pair of shoes one pair with the regular price second pair for $10 and the third pair with the regular price we kept the two pairs one with the regular price the other the sale price for $10 and I return the third pair back to the store to get my full refund but the manager said right now the sale is $20 for the second pair not $10 but I said I have a receipt that I had purchased with the $10 but he kept telling me that the sale change you have to pay $20 but I said I have a receipt and the manager keep telling me sale change I show my receipt, but he just ignore and keep telling the same thing not a good customer service. I have always shopped here when in the area. I love my Clark Sandals! Today I had the most uncomfortable creepy experience. I had an exchange which I brought to the front counter immediately when I entered. I said I was going to return or possible exchange. So I proceeded to walk around? Tried some sandals on and walked around to try them out. Then it started.....I was being followed and watched. Quite obvious and extremely uncomfortable feeling. So I asked her a question about size just to see if it would stop. Then went back to the shoe boxes. Another clerk came up to me, bent over and got in my face with a BIG fake smile and asked if I needed help. I did make an exchange but I was so uncomfortable I will NEVER go back in this store.!!! My sole purpose for coming to the outlets was to return a pair of boots I had bought at the Napa outlet. Returned them, but ended up with 2 really cute pairs that were both 25% off, and the employee got me to do a donation of $4 for an additional $8 discount! Yes, these are not the most hippest shoes, but so comfy for work, and some are actually quite stylish! Employees were attentive and walked me through all the discounts. read more

Customer service is a hit or miss here. My first time in the store I experienced superb customer service. Everyone was very friendly and they helped my mom find the perfect shoes. Second time around, the same worker I liked was working but he was busy helping a customer out at the register. He told me to wait. I walked around the store and saw someone just head into the back room. I yelled excuse me. Excuse me. No response. 10 mins later the cashier (the guy who's super nice and helpful, sorry don't know your name) comes back to help. Everything was smooth until we checked out. No name was no where to be found. I was helped by a girl who was with another customer. She leaves them to ring me out. While being rung out a gentlemen comes up asking for help. She is in the middle of my transaction but she stops to help the guy. Ummmm. She should have called for backup. read more

This is the closest Clarks store relative to where I live, so it's about an hour drive. The customer service and help makes it well worth the drive. I absolutely love Clarks and Clarks love my feet. Every time I have come to this store, coincidently there is some kind of sale, plus they offer military discount. Also, every time I come to this store the sales associates are always eager to assist. My only gripe is not about the store itself, but of the brand/makes. I purchased a pair of expensive black flags thinking they would be the most comfortable things ever. I only was able to wear them once because they cut up my heels so bad. Never thought a pair of $70 flats could do this. Didn't have time to return them so they're sitting in a box in my closet I later bought another pair of equally pricey flats which ARE like pillows on my heels and feet. read more

I love Clarks shoes and have been a loyal shopper for many years. The rating is for the service. The salesman was extremely rude when we asked him to check the price of a pair of shoes that had no box with it and asked if the promotion applied. He took the shoes in annoyance and after telling us the price, he said if we want to buy the shoes we need to find the box ourselves. His arrogant response definitely caught us by surprise. I have purchased footwear at this store for the past five years, and only within the last couple of years have I noticed a big drop off in the cleanliness and upkeep of this store. It is very cramped in the store due to all off the boxes that fill every nook and cranny in the store, seems like there is no desire to correct what is wrong here. The customer service here is excellent as is the product. I bought two pairs of shoes and they are crazy comfortable. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the selection is not super good. I found several pairs of shoes that I liked, but they often did not have my size in stock. Luckily, the will ship you whatever size you need for free, just be sure it will fit first. I live in Santa Cruz and would not want to have to drive all the way back if they didn't fit quite right.... read more
