I have had a lot of dental work done over the years (several cavities filled and an implant from a tooth I knocked out in my youth) and so I know how important it is to find a dentist that is not only likeable but competent. Dr. Hicks came highly recommended from everything I read on the internet. Luckily I was not in any hurry for a new patient appointment (just due for a cleaning and did not have any issues to report) because it took several months to get me in. If I had a more urgent issue they may have taken additional steps to get me in sooner--not sure, as that wasn't the case for me. My appointment started promptly. The hygienist assigned to me was kind and did a great job taking x-rays and cleaning my teeth. Dr. Hicks was friendly and professional. I have had some dentists that try to sell me nonsense cosmetic crap for my teeth, and was glad that Dr. Hicks and her team did no such thing. Everyone in the office was upbeat and friendly: you can tell the staff is treated well, because the morale is high. I would recommend Dr. Hicks to anyone looking for a new dentist.

My appointment was to determine why I was experiencing a rough surface on my upper right tooth. Dr. Purdy immediately determined one of my crowns needed to be replaced. Two days later I had the complete process completed in one appointment. Dr. Purdy and his clinical assistant were very conscientious in performing the dental procedure and built a rock-solid crown that needed no adjustments in the time immediately after the appointment. Dr. Purdy was serious about his work while still interjecting some humor since I am a person who while placing high value on the quality of my dental care still enjoys making any experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Dr. Purdy to new patients and I still highly recommend Dr. Icely as a valued dental care provider. In addition, all other dental professionals in the office are top-notch in their work with patients. On the day of my scheduled dental work I was fully informed of each step of the procedure, first by the Hygienist, and then by Dr. Wolf himself. The only pain I felt was that of the injection of an anesthetic, which was not bad at all. From there the procedure was fast and easy. Dr. Wolf is a great dentist, in the tradition of his predecessor, Dr. John Rosenberg. I highly recommend the eminently qualified professionals of Hillside Dental.
