He scams people for the business and refuses work that isn't convenient to them. So they installed my front struts Obviously wrong, left giant stickers across the top so they couldn't seat properly. When I brought it back to them they use the warranty and said the parts were bad and made Monroe eat the loss. Here's the thing though-Mike tried desperately begging me to come get my car at the end of that work day I brought it back. It was too late and I did not have a ride. I called in the morning to see about picking the car up and someone else answered the phone unaware of what Mike had done and said no they just pulled the your car in it hasn't been in till today. So had I picked up the car I'm assuming they had cut the stickers out with a razor knife it would have been no different no work done and I only had a few days left on my warranty which I believe he was counting on. And-bonus-they get to keep a pair of brand new Monroe's for the next guy-free to them So like I said he's scanning for the company. The other manager told me he believed it was a mistake and he had mixed up cars, But I was able to ask Mike separately and his story was that they had put the car in the shop replace the struts and it was ready that night somehow but then they had to pull the car back in and replace the struts again. I said you put three sets of struts in my car?!? He said "yep" I literally saw a mechanic that was in the room to the side of me laughing because I had caught him in a lie and he performed so badly He also signed my paperwork for me and I realize that as I drove it to Firestone to get all the work looked over because I don't trust them one iota. When I called him to ask why he signed my paperwork he just kept screaming "you don't know who I am" It was just a distraction so no one else would know that he did it. I know exactly who Mike is, he's the reason I will never return to a shop that I had recommended to many people, paid a bit extra a couple times because of loyalty and thinking that they did good work. He ruined telegraph location, moved on to ecorse and ruined that also. I first met him over 10 years ago with that original overpriced quote so there's no way they're employing this man for over a decade while he's constantly hustling, scamming, and harassing people without being completely complicit. They can't do the job right the first time or the second time they can't stick to the price that they originally say because he tried jumping the price by a hundred when the key hit his hand until I changed his mind. Sucks to say it but just stay away from this place!
