Last year, I had my throttle body replaced here, and while the work was okay, it was done by one of their regular techs--not Doug, the owner. This year, when my check engine light came back on, things went completely downhill. In late May, I brought my car in with a specific concern: an oil pressure code, which is notoriously tied to serious engine issues in my car model (Chevy Malibu 2016-2018). Chevy even has recalls for this issue--just not for my specific trim. I explicitly asked the shop to investigate this code. Doug took over the service this time. Instead of performing a simple oil pressure test (a basic and relatively cheap way to confirm if the code was serious), he cleared the codes, claimed one didn't return, and recommended I replace the mass air flow sensor instead--which I paid for.
