I had a new furnace and AC unit from Classic Air installed on August 5, 2025. Mr. Daniel put together a wonderful system at a really good price for me. I had collected quotes from 6 companies, and his price was the best for the equipment. Three of the quotes were from Lennox dealerships, and he was the only person to tell me of a Lennox rebate. Classic did all the paperwork for me to apply for the rebate. Jake and his crew of 3 (Nathan, Daniel, and Joshua) worked tirelessly to do the install. I expected to be highly inconvenienced but was not, not at all. I found them to be thorough and detailed. They explained safety features to me afterward. Jake is really good in explaining. Daniel took the time to show me how to operate the thermostat which he also set up for me. These guys must love the furnaces and AC units bc they clearly enjoy talking about what the mechanicals can do and pointing out the fine points of how and why they installed certain features such as the condensation drain (it is clever!). I don't know what the word would be for system installers that is equivalent for "gearheads" for the auto aficionados, but whatever the word is, these guys are it. lol --maybe they are "tech-heads" or "total system freaks." They take great pride in the mechanicals, the set-up nuances, and in the performance. They cleaned up EVERYTHING and hauled it away. I have E.B. at classic fix my decade old Rheem unit on the reg. I got tired of them having to fix random issues with some ancient brand so I had them put in a new Tempstar brand unit in with IAQ (i-wave germ neutralizer proven time kill covid) as well as a new air handler and some other doodads for peace of mind like a leak detector. The work is immaculate and they arrived at my place as I was getting out of bed to go to work and done with the changeout by around noon! locked my place back up and i came home to clean, fresh air that's been ionized by the i-wave system which i wanted to neutralize any covid. My place actually SMELLS better after I put in the i-wave. I can not recommend Classic enough and if you're on the fence, just get a new system. The i-wave is definitely working and my home is WAY less humid at the same temp due to the efficiency of the new unit as my old AC and therefore more comfortable. I'm sure it'll raise the value of my home a tad to see the previous tenant installed top quality and air quality (which should also help protect filter mold). Would give 6 stars but that option isn't available! read more

Called Classic Air on a Tuesday morning after the Labor Day holiday thinking it would be a day or two for service. Joey and an apprentice arrived within two hours and quickly diagnosed the problem being low freon and an iced up A coil. They were unable to completely charge the system until the A coil thawed and said he'd return the next day. We discussed the age of the system and life expectancy by my inquiry. At no time was a system sales pushed but gave me a number to call if I was interested. The following day with the A coil thawed Joey returned in the morning as promised He quickly finished with the service and departed. Joey was professional, honest and respectful of my home. Our air went out the other day. Of course it was hot and humid out, and of course most AC repair places were tied up; some were taking appointments for next week. Classic fit me in at the end of the day; there was a surcharge for that, but well worth it (I believe a normal service call is $87 and this one was $117.) The tech came when they said he would (there was a 4-hour window, and they called when he was on his way.) Very friendly, very understanding about our pets and sleeping baby. He checked everything out, found and fixed a minor problem, and was on his way within a half hour. Great service, professional work, reasonable price considering the situation. read more

My air conditioner started blowing lukewarm air yesterday and so I went outside to check if it was running and discovered that it wasn't even though it was on. I knew it was probably not something I could fix and so I started looking at reviews of local HVAC companies and noticed that many of the ones that advertise on TV and radio had less than stellar reviews. Classic on the other hand had great reviews across the board so I called them. They said they could have a technician out within 4 hours and sure enough a very polite and pleasant man named E.B. was on time as promised. He figured out the problem in about 10 or 15 minutes and had it repaired in no time at all and at a very affordable cost. I called Classic Air on a Sunday afternoon and explained my issue. They gave me some advice over the phone and said someone would call me Monday morning to schedule a time to come out. Sure enough, I got a call around 8:00 AM Monday and said they could get to me between 9-12 and they'd call me with an updated arrival time once the driver was in route. At 9:30 AM they called and said Eric would be there shortly. When Eric arrived (before 10 AM) he introduced himself and asked me to explain what was going on. I explained what we were experiencing and what I tried to resolve the issue. Eric complimented me on trying to resolve it and said he'd check the Freon levels and come inside and check the unit in the basement. Once he confirmed that the Freon levels were ok, he quickly diagnosed the issue and explained what he could do to fix it. I agreed with him and he proceeded to fix it. I just want people to know that if you find yourself in need of assistance with heating or a/c I'd highly recommend Classic Air and Eric (if you can get him). A very satisfied customer! read more

BEST BEST BEST service in town. I would never consider another HVAC company. If only all businesses operated like this one! Joey came out and did my summer maintenance check this week. As always, he was prompt, courteous, and efficient! When I went to the basement later in the day, I noticed the empty box from the filter I had purchased (and it's a large filter / large box) was gone - Joey took it with him when he left. Now that may seem like a small thing, but it really spoke volumes. I had a privacy fence installed earlier this year by a very well known company and they left an absolute mess in my yard. Sadly, I've come to expect poor service because it is so often the norm. The fact that Joey left the basement spotless, even taking along that empty box, really struck me - that is someone who cares about his customers, his job, and his company! I've used Classic Air for years and years (including to install new furnace and AC last year) and I have never had an issue. I've had great customer service from this company. I had them come out years ago, when my furnace totally stopped on Christmas Eve. Yea, try getting anyone to come out then...they were the ONLY company that responded and would send anyone out! I have been using Classic Air for years and have been pretty happy with their service until the last few years. It started when I needed to replace my old A/C unit. They installed a new one but within several months it wasn't putting out very cold air. There was a leak and it took them three trips over several months to find and repair the leak. Each time assuring me they had found it and taken care of it. The next issue happened last year when they sold me a service agreement and telling me I would get the annual inspections on my two furnaces and two A/C units and priority service and discounted parts. I received nothing from the service agreement and feel it was a complete rip off. The final straw was this past week when I called to schedule annual service on my A/C Units and Furnaces. The technician came out and serviced the units and told me I may want to replace my capacitor, it was making a squeaking noise and drawing more amps than usual. He stated it could last a few months or a few years. I asked the price and he said he thought around $500-$600. I asked to go ahead and price it for me. The next day the lady from the office called and said it would be $1100. I said no thanks, I would wait for it to go out. I got the model number off the capacitor and found it on Amazon for $184 brand new. I was furious and called the office and asked to speak to the owner. She told me she could help me, so I told the lady I had no issue with them making money but their markup was ridiculous! I also told her I was taking my business elsewhere. She said for me to have a good day. This company has gone down hill these last few years and doesn't know how to treat customers fairly. read more

I have had them for 14 years..until one day a guy came to do our winter check up and said the furnace will need to be replaced...then I said "how will I know when"? .....he said "when you die of carbon monoxide...very very unprofessional remark by him...scary too. The when I went to pay my account ( I admit I was late) I e-mailed them to see if they would take a credit card, and I never got a reply back...What the heck is that....anyone know of anyone great to replace them??? read more
