Worst car wash in SW FL. I've been here three times over the past 7 years or so. Each time has been a terrible experience which leads me to believe the positive reviews here are from employees or friends of the owner. There is a lot to say but I will try to keep it short as short as I can. The first time I went and the attendant printed the ticket and handed it to me. I went inside to pay when the same attendant came back and rudely snatched the ticket she gave me from my hand. Shen then marked it with a $2 upcharge because I had mud on my running board. It didn't take them any longer to pressure wash it off and I didn't even mind the up charge. I minded the way she snatched the ticket from me and was rude towards me like I was a piece of crap trying to scam them out of the extra $2 or something. After the first visit I was less than impressed to say the least but I wasn't going to hold the business hostage because of a one rude employee. The second time I went back I needed a wash before a trip. I brought my truck in and when I saw it going through the wash I noticed there was duct tape around the side mirror. I went outside and took the tape off and the mirror came out and was hanging by the cables. I spoke to the manager. He immediately denied it and said the truck was like that when I brought it in. I told him that was not true and I don't drive around with a broken mirror looking for a car wash to blame. I also told him he could check any security footage he may have and see that my mirror was fine when I got there. He refused to even look into it. When he became confrontational I thought it best to leave. 5 years later (yesterday) Custom Car Wash was one of two car washes that were open. The first one was extremely busy and I didn't have the time to wait. I needed the wash bad enough that I stopped by CC on the way home. They weren't as busy (no surprise there I suppose). No damage to the vehicle but the quality of the wash was terrible. I ordered the complete wash and they didn't touch the inside and ignored a big coffee spot in plain view. They didn't even wipe the dash down with a rag. Waste of money and time. read more

The change in ownership hasn't affected the wash experience, which is respectable, but they've priced themselves out of the market. I've been a regular for several years, now will be taking my business elsewhere. From 11 washes for $100 to 11 washes for $231.90 is way beyond my tolerance threshold. See ya! read more

They always do a good job here. I usually get the #4 and I guess you pay for what you get. My only wish was that you didn't have to use a paper punchcard. Maybe keep track by email address or something and then get rewards digitally? read more

I used to love this place. It's gone way down hill, prices very high, car not clean and they take forever. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Pretty expensive considering it's just a car wash but they always do an excellent job of cleaning both the interior and exterior. It seems to be always busy so expect to wait. There is seating both indoors and outdoors. They also do oil changes. read more

The previous owners of my car did not keep the car waxed so over time the paint has oxidized. It was chalky and hard to keep clean. I took it here to have it buffed and waxed. I was skeptical that a detail shop was the solution to my problem. But they did an awesome job!! Spent many hours on it and buffed with compound and waxed!! It looks like a completely different car. They detailed the inside and it was the best detail I have ever gotten!! Also had my oil changed all in one fell swoop!! The people were extremely friendly and trustworthy. Not recommended for the value or service. $9.30 for exterior wash and they added $3.00 for bug cleaning; based on the discretion of the ticket writer. The average waiting time is 20 to 30 minutes. I will not be back. read more

BEST IN TOWN! we go every week to every other week. very impressive work. they even clean the door jams. on Thursdays men get $5.00 off of a #3, #4, or #5. i believe women are on Mondays, and college students on Wednesdays. also, with frequent customer discount card you get a free #3 car wash after paying for 8 car washes. read more

I take my car here regularly for a full clean and wax. A great job, every time. I recommend the =4 if you have a leather interior.

I took a Thunderbird in for a hand wash. In the past it was $24.95, the basic car hand wash price. For some reason today they priced it at $30. and listed it as a medium-sized car. A Thunderbird? The manager blew me off when I spoke with him about it. read more

Asked for the "Monday's ladies special" and was given a totally different package which didn't include cleaning anything on the interior or outside wax. Front grill was still dirty with bug marks. Paid $18 plus $2 tip and was treated very rude by the manager. Don't pay big $$$ for a low end car wash! read more

This place used to be a lot better. With the years it's service has really declined. Last few times I've been here my windows are always still dirty. Today I paid for a number 4 which includes cleaning the inside of the car (wiping the console, seats, etc.). When I got in the car they had not cleaned the inside bc they had apparently been given the wrong instructions. I had to talk to 3 different people and they finally moved my car back to be cleaned. After about 20 minutes I went outside to see what took so long and my car was just sitting in the back. They were not even working on it. The girl said because I changed my mind I was going to have to wait another 20 minutes. I told her I didn't change my mind, I picked number 4 from the beginning. She just shook her head and said it would be 20 minutes. I went inside and the young lady at the counter helped me out. The young girl working inside was very polite and helpful - she tried to help me out but the people working outside were awful and do not do a good job clearning your car - if the machine does not do it you are SOL. When I got in my car you could tell they took about 2 minutes to "clean" the inside with a rag - there were still finger spots on the side console and doors. It had started raining so the place was closed when I finally got my car so I couldn't go back to complain since I did not want to get in the rain again - I doubt complaining would have made any difference. This place is popular because it is the only car wash in Estero. read more

I purchased a Groupon for three of the "Porsche" level washes. My first visit was very disappointing. The windows still showed dirt and water spots and the interior looked worse after they were done than before I got there. The dash and console were both smeared. In addition, not sure what's up with the drying cloths they use but my dark blue car was covered in lint!! Second visit was a little better, but with great room for improvement. My third (& FINAL) visit was once again horrible. Inconsistency and lots of lint, interior & exterior. The outside staff are mostly non-English speaking and avoid even making eye-contact. I only returned to use up my Groupon purchase. I will NOT be back and have already warned my co-workers & friends to avoid this place. A sure waste of money, and time. read more

Under new ownership. The car wash is adequate at best. not the best not the worst. Probably a little overpriced. They changed their policy and will not allow you to get cash to tip with when paying with credit/debit cards. Only hurts their own employees. Hope another car was opens in the area give them some competition. read more

I give this place a one only because there is no way to provide negative numbers. Long time customer - some 5 years or more - always pleased with the service and company. New management is the WORST. Actual service for the car wash is still unchanged but the counter staff are rude, prices have increased dramatically and previously issued and PAID for car wash cards - that have no expiration date, are still valid and should be a liability to the new owners - are simply not honored. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this establishment. The only good new is that they should be out of business by the summer. read more

They chipped the paint on my car with the pressure washer that they use. Which they do not tell you about when you get there. I brought this to the manager and he told me he knew he happened there and then I was given 3 difference excuses as to why it was not their fault even though I was told numerous times "I know your car did not look like this when it arrived" I was also told I had to wait until Monday to speak to the owner because he only works a few hours a day. I asked the manager if this has happened to other vehicles to which he replied yes and that the other people are ok just using touch up paint. I am not ok using touch up paint because my car did not look like that before. I had to call the manager in Monday because he could not be bothered to call me, even though I was told he would and left my contact information. The owner is a slimy liar and yep again tried to blame their screw up on me and not take any responsibility. I was also told by the owner that I got 3 different stories from the manager about why this happened because his english isn't good!!!! They did not even do a good job: the back seat area did not get vacuumed, the rims were dirty, there was still bird poop on the roof. Do not waste your time or money on this place. I now have to pay to have my car repaired!!!!! read more

I saw some of the negative reviews but since I was staying right around the corner, I went. I just drove down from NY through blizzard conditions and my truck was covered in salt and sand. The interior mats and carpet were covered in salt and winter debris and my leather seats were not the cleanest either. The car wash was busy and I had the dirtiest vehicle by far. The staff was very friendly, courteous. I got the $18 wash that does the inside and out. I was there for only a short time and my vehicle looked awesome when it came out. I would have had to run it through the car wash 5 times back home to get the same results. We'll worth the money and time. read more

I agree with the previous post. Been going here for years and they do a really good job. However the new owner has greatly increased the price and stopped all the coupons. One would think with new competition entering the area (soon to be @ Gulf Coast Tiwn Center) that the dramatic price increase will not help keep existing customers. read more

I brought my car for interior detail package ($127.15) last Friday. When I picked up my car at the end of the day my interior headliner was ripped and hanging from the roof. When I questioned the Owner or Manager Fausto Diaz his response was that it was that way when it was dropped off. I asked him if that were so "Why would I be doing an interior detail in that condition" and that he should have called me immediately. He agreed and told me he would call me by Tuesday to let me know where I could have it repaired and that he would reimburse me the cost in car washes. Tuesday came and no call from Fausto. After some research I found a place top have it repaired for $ 159. I brought the receipt to Fausto on Thursday and he told me he said he was going to give me a gift certificate for half the amount. I told him that was not the agreement that we made and that he could keep his $80 gift certificate and that he would never see a dollar of my money ever again. He could learn a lot about business from the former owner and know why this business has deteriorated under his leadership based on the number of negative reviews. The fact that he did not call as promised and that he reneged on his offer proves that he is not a man of his word and customers should be wary of doing business with this establishment because of the lack of respect these individuals have for their customers. read more

I had a horrible experience today. I had already paid for my car wash. I was ready to pick up my car when I was asked to go back inside. I was informed that there was a mistake with the price and that I owed more money. Obviously, this was not my fault since I had already paid. I questioned the charge and saw the owner, George come over. I asked him why I had to pay more when I had already paid for my service. He claimed it was not the right amount. As I see it, that was not my fault. As any quality business knows if the company makes a mistake they eat the cost. Unfortunately, he continued haggling me for the payment. I could tell the culture at that car wash was poor considering the cashier offered to pay the difference. Because the owner was being so difficult with the me regarding the payment I just paid the extra $10.60. From my experience, If George the owner was being so picky over an extra $10 and expecting the poor cashier to possibly pay the difference, that tells you the type of car wash environment it is. I used to go there a lot and give them great business, but from now on, I won't and have instructed all my friends and family not to go there. Until, George starts treating his employees and his customers better and realizing when mistakes are made the owner has to own up to them, I will not return to that establishment and hope you do not either!! read more

I've been a customer here for many years, from previous owner to the new ownership, my experience with the new management have been wonderful, the job is always done right the staff are always polite and hard working. I have never had any problems with my car wash and the price is the cheapest in town. I have seen many negative comments about the prices and most is about a dollar extra for a large pick up truck, rv etc etc, most car wash charge that!!! And also I been a customer for 3 years and about a year and a half ago before new ownership the previous owner was offering package deals for 50% off the regular package deals, I seen many people buying those, but sometimes when is to good of a deal there's something fishy behind it, little did I know, couple months after I seen signs of new management. I totally don't blame the new management for stopping the nonsense. It's a great place always has been, staff are amazing, the whole experience from beginning to the end is exceptional, FYI always try to make it in the morning is when there's less traffic!!!! read more
