Terrible experience! Nothing was good! I purchased a vehicle a year ago and foe my 1st inspection I've had to spend $2000. Unreal. New tires, brakes, tolink, alignment! I mean I told them when I bought it that the tires and squeaking brakes needed replaced the man in the service department told me no. We'll funny how the rotors need replaced when last year there was a big groove in one and they replaced it back then. I had to have the thermostat replaced and the coolant was leaking .. I was called and told my car was ready. 12 days after I was promised, it would take three days!!! when I went to get my car, had a flat tire, that I didn't have when i got there ,because I actually just got tires a month before I got this service done there! I also found them trying to hide in the back and inflate my tire so I could leave and then have it deflate again down the road!! THEY LITERALLY WERE HIDING IN THE BACK TRYING TO REINFLATE MY TIRE!!!!!!! That is when the man from the service desk who went to go get my car, who seem to be the ring leader of the reinflating of my tire, ran over to me and said "somebody hit something in your car "that is when I realized they were in the back hiding it trying to fix it until I walked around and caught them!!! Listen, I can go on and on with this story it was one horrific thing to another horrific thing. Neither not only the tire but all the other things that I came there for. We're also done horribly I had my car inspected while it was also there, so if I came over the nail on my tire when they found out in the inspection? They did that first !! I talked to Lee about buying a car that he would hold for me, kept saying he's looking out, only making three hundred on the car. I get it, but fast foreword a week, I couldn't qualify for a loan, so I had to grind and raise to about 7,800 because the car was listed at 6,900.... And wanted taxes, well he said he got rid of the car we were looking at, mind you the car is still listed at 6,900 and I called the used car dealership and the car is in fact still there, seemed like he raised the price 1,000 dollars after I talked to him, and is still trying to convince me he's only making 300.... I turned a leased vehicle into their dealership when I picked up a new leased vehicle. Their staff failed to report the returned car to GM Financial. Now almost 2 months later I am still begging them to report to GM THE ACTUAL DATE I RETURNED THE VEHICLE and to get all the late charges dropped. They also forged my signature on a document and lied about the return date on same document they sent to GM Financial. Their response was that the date/signature don't matter. It does to me! Extremely poor experience with Classic Chevrolet and the General Manager William "Billy" Frazier. Billy promised that I would be paying MSRP for my 2022 Corvette that I've sat on a waiting list waiting for. The car finally arrived, exactly as ordered. When it came time to pay, Billy added an extra $10,000 onto the purchase price stated demand was high and supply was low. Despite verifying that I would only pay MSRP, Billy's response was I didn't have to buy the car, he would have no problem selling it to someone else for more than $10k over MSRP. Needless to say, I did not purchase the car from Classic Chevrolet, completely dishonest family just trying to gouge a local customer. Placed another order at a non-local dealership for another Corvette to be sold at MSRP. If you shop here, I'd get a written sales agreement prior to placing an order. Funny thing is, they wouldn't accept a deposit when I ordered the car because they are a "small family run dealership". Awful experience ruined buying my dream car. read more

Booked for oil change and recall. They said it would take 2 hours, so I scheduled and dropped off at 8am. 6 hours later they called to say the oil change was done but they didn't have the part for the recall and they were terribly unprofessional about it, yelling when questioned why A) they didn't tell me they don't have the recall part and B) why it took 6 hours for an oil change when it was all supposed to be done in 2 hours. I had a radio upgrade (PDIM) unit that I installed myself, and I took it to Classic Chevrolet, to get the radio reprogrammed, which is a common 20 minute procedure at dealerships. Over the course of the 3 hours I was there, I heard the following: - What's a PDIM? (Should have been my first clue to leave) - This isn't a GM part. (It is) - Can you come to the service center and explain to our installer how to reprogram the radio? (Even after I printed off the instruction page and gave them to the service guy when he took my keys) - You need a code from GM to reprogram the radio. (You don't) And my favorite..... - It's reprogrammed. (It wasn't) I spent three hours at a dealership for a job that requires them to plug a box into a cable and hit a button. And they still didn't get it right. My money was refunded after I asked the service manager if he knew what a PDIM was. He said yes, so I asked him what it did. His response? "It connects the things." After asking what things, he just looked confused and refunded my money. Too bad he can't refund my three hours. read more

Can you come back Monday?" I said Uhh no. So I went to Jim Crivelli Chevy in McKees Rocks, where they have essentially the same car, and I bought it from Crivelli. I've rarely dealt with a service department this frustrating. We lost a key fob to the car. Drop the car off to get the new key programmed. Go to pick up car, BOTH keys are locked inside and we couldn't take the car that day. Luckily my ride to the dealership hadn't left by the time we realized they locked both keys in the car. They order a part that is needed for a repair. The part comes in and I call to schedule the repair for when our son is home for Christmas break (today) since the car was with him at college. I call last week to confirm the appointment for today. I call back this morning to confirm again. Our son gets there and is told that they sent the part back after 30 days. WHAT? They scheduled this appointment out beyond 30 days, why on earth would they send the part back? They are impossible to reach on the phone most times, or they put you on hold forever. read more

this past October I was in a position to by my first car. after a LONG online search and visiting numerous dealers I stumbled across classic Chevrolet and found exactly what I was looking for. I have NO IDEA how I got the deal on the certified preowned vehicle that I got but I am SO GREATFUL (this also includes the amount I received for my trade in... WOW!!) The price was fantastic AND so was the car! I purchased a 2012 Chevy Cruze LT. it only had 24k miles on it, leather interior, numerous upgrades, it was basically like purchasing an LTZ. all the other cars I looked at in the same price range at other dealerships were GARBAGE (base model, numerous accidents, visible damage, etc.) ! I also had an issue with classic. In 2012 I purchased a used 2003 Chevy Impala with about 45,000 miles for $7,500 from these crooks. They had to hold the car originally bc I was told after putting the down payment down that the break lines needed replaced. I was given a loaner. After receiving the car about a week later, I noticed an issue with the car blowing through oil. I contacted the dealership about this to which they said to bring it in. They informed me it was a hose and kept it for a day or two (little blurry on the time span) which was covered by the warranty. After getting the car back, the issue continued. I had to have my father drop off the bc I could not miss more work. The auto shop told him it was the gas cap? I know I'm a woman but I'm not an idiot. Of course the issue continued. I took the car back for a third time to which I was told it was the intake manifold gasket.... Which was not covered under the warranty BIG SURPRISE. I was however offered a discount on the repairs by Lee himself since I just bought the car there 2 weeks prior...YES 2 WEEKS I had the car. Only $350 for repairs. After I explained to Lee that this was unreasonable I had spent $3000 for a down payment i didn't have $300. I was in school and working with 2 kids. Lee didn't seem to care, he already got his money. I ended up going to a local HONEST mechanic a few months later when I was able to save the money up. My father in law died suddenly when the car was in the shop for a few days (48 years old) so we had to ask for a ride to Cleveland from family members and pay for gas (not complaining about that, just sucked we had a car we couldn't use in an emergency). I was informed by phone by the mechanic that the engine was not original to the car, it was a junk yard engine. At 45,000 miles! From there I had nothing but problems with the car.. serpentine belt needed replaced twice, fuel regulator needed replaced (it started gasing us), tires, breaks and rotors needed replaced the first year, catalytic converter broke had to replace half the exhaust system, battery died while we were out shopping. Then the alarm system started locking the car up and not starting. I traded it in December 2015 because at this point I had 3 kids still working and going to school couldn't depend on it, couldn't afford it. I got $500 for the P.O.S. I never went back to Lee and his crooks. The man literally said to my face that his mechanics try their best but they are human and miss things. Then offered to lower the price to $350 to fix their mistake that they found on the third visit. This was my first car, my last Chevy. That place sold me a lemon and knew it. I contacted Chevy corporate who said they'd look into but sounds like they are still screwing people. Didn't qualify under the lemon law bc of the year. All the money we paid and put into that car, traded in with less than 90,000 miles...$500. they knew what they were doing the second I walked into the used dealership. Well I bought a cruze automobile from classic Chevrolet in Bellevue PA in 2013. I'm a older person and I bought this car with cash. I thought that this would be my last new car. I took the car to get it's oil changed and any other maintenance the car needed. There was only 25 thousand miles on it. The car I bought was a manual shift and through my life I have owned at least 5 manual shift cars. I'm going down the street and the clutch went to the floor. I get it to classic and they tell me it's $1000 plus tax. I don't believe it. Then the next day he said it will be another $200 so $1200. I called the man who sold me the car. Nothing he could do. I call the office . I get nothing. I said there's only 25 thousand miles. Who has $1200 laying around. Plus the car has been there for 10 days. First I was told it would probably be done on Friday . The car was there 8 days. Then on Friday he tells me it needs another part and I wouldn't be ready until Monday possibly. No one from the dealership would help. I just can't believe that a car with 25 thousand miles on it is not covered because it was only covered for 36 months. Every other dealer gives alot more time for engine and powertrain. I will never go back to this dealer for anything and I will tell everyone not to go here if they want a car. You here about all other dealers give 10 year warranty or free inspection for life all kind of insentives. I thought this place would help people that bought there car here. DON'T GO HERE. I'm back because I just got my car after 10 days. I'm going down the street and looking around and there's dirt and grease stains all over my steering wheel and on the driver's door also it's all over my manual shifter and bucket. I really don't believe this. They keep my car for 10 days and charge me $1200.00 to fix a car with only 25 thousand miles and leave grease and dirt all over the inside of my car. One star doesn't do my experience justice. I took my Honda Accord for body work and felt like I could trust a dealership to do the work. The initial process took 5-6 days (it was over a weekend), the damage was done to my driver side door. Kevin called me and informed me that my car was done. When I arrived at the dealership, I was told to pay at the window and told the woman there that I wanted to look at my car first. She seemed rude and pushy so in return I paid, trusting again that a dealership would do an outstanding job, yet it was an absolute debacle. When Kevin brought my car around, I noticed that someone/something had hit the back of my car and there was apparent damage. They agreed that the damage was not there prior, after trying to give me the car back like nothing had happened. Upon closer review of the, "repairs," I had found they they had left wax on my car! Next, I noticed under my driver side mirror that there were several small dents and went over all of this with Kevin the body shop 'manager.' He agreed that everything would be fixed upon my return. He also stated, "well this car was previously wrecked." My car was not previously wrecked, I had the car fax and home and had phoned over to the auto body department and informed that I had reviewed the car fax once more, there was no wreck, and also they need to fix everything discussed above. When I returned two days later, the dents below my drivers side mirror were still there! I also had to call myself and find out that my car was done, Kevin used the excuse that my phone was not in service, which it was! I always pay my bills on time and had him call my number from his personal device, the office phone did not work properly, not the only thing that doesn't work properly there. I had informed them, they agreed that it would be fixed and I told them that I should not be liable for the rental car I was in, because this was turning into quite the process. They never compensated me, they gave me a shitty Chevy Cruze and took my rental back. I informed Kevin that I was going out of town and that I would be returning the following week, he assured that everything would be taken care of. Upon my third trip to this, "dealership," I was yet again unsatisfied, only to find that there was now scratches on my car on the passenger side and on my trunk. I asked at this point to speak with Kevin's manager, he directed me into the service office and said that his manager was in there. He flat out lied to my face, this man had nothing to do with him, no did he oversee Kevin's work. I then asked to speak with the dealerships owner, but he was conveniently at lunch. I told them that they need to fix that damages done to my car, and that I was taking the car they provided to me and that I would return the following business day. When I got back home, I called the owner of the dealership Lee and was yet again let down by poor service. He was very rude, not understanding and told me that he would review the adjustment pictures Kevin had taken. He called me within twenty minutes and informed me that the scratch was previously there, made me out to be a liar, and informed me that I would need to return their car the same day. That day I was working from home and told him I could not leave and that I was not giving the car back to them, until my car was completely repaired. He informed me that if I did not return the car that day, he was going to call the police and report the car stolen. I informed Lee that he would hear from my close friend who is an attorney. About an hour later a police office showed up at my door, requesting the key. The officer gave me advice as to what next steps I should take next. He asked for the key and put in his two cents about this dealership. If you are looking for a professional job, keep looking this place is a complete joke. Took my car here after an accident to get fixed and had to go back THREE times because I kept finding things they didn't fix. Then they tried to say those things happened after I took the car home. Bought a used 2013 Genesis. Two major issues with purchase. 1- the dealership advertised a platinum warranty with the purchase. After purchasing the vehicle the manufacturer informed me there is no warranty. Since April 2018 I have been pursuing the dealership making good on the warranty they advertised as part of the sale. I still have not received anything. 2- prior to the purchase I pointed out to the Salesman that the tires looked bad and not safe. He assured me that the tires were good and the car recently inspected and safe sticker until April 2019. After purchasing vehicle I took the car to have the tires inspected and notified the salesman that the tires did not pass. The salesman of course never responded. I was in a near road accident on a wet surface. State police and Harrisburg DOT had my car sent for another state inspection due to the bald tires. The tires failed again so Harrisburg DOT pulled the sticker of state inspection and would not release my car stating it was not safe. The only way my car would be released is to pay for new state inspection and replace all four tires. I immediately notified the dealership who has yet to respond. The DOT assured me Classic passed the cars state safety inspection illegally and would be notified. I still have heard nothing from the dealership on the warranty they advertised or reimbursement of the tires I had to pay for which they illegally passed and jeopardized my safety and everyone else on the road. I am pursuing legal action at this point with the dealership and also searching out other consumers who have purchased from Classic and not made good on the purchase etc. A class action suit will be a separate filing once all info is gathered from other consumers I am currently in contact with. Be very cautious when purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership. Have the vehicle looked over by a certified mechanic / pa state inspection station before purchasing a used vehicle from Classic Chevrolet. They falsity of advertising a warranty that did not exist which I still do not have and placing my safety and everyone on the roads safety passing a car that was not safe for the road is unacceptable. I'm all about principle and will pursue this till the end. read more

I was in a small accident and the damage was done on my front passenger fender area. I was able to get my car into classic to get the body work done. The manager, Kevin, got me in as soon as I could get in, they were helpful and informative about what needed done. They offered to put on a fog light cover I had ordered myself, for free. The body work looks fantastic, and they cleaned and buffed the entire car. They also filled in paint chips for me. Amazing body team. As a student, taking my car to the shop for my check engine light had me on edge to begin with. Once I was told the multiple reasons why my light was on(way more than what I was expecting), I was made a working problem list for things that I didn't even get serviced today. Also, while I was in the waiting room, someone came out to me to tell me that things were taking longer than expected, and suggested that I grabbed something to eat. With the holidays approaching, and money really tight, I appreciate them just working on the issue that I came there for, rather than pressuring me to get everything done at once. Very nice employees, who even charged my dead phone for me to use my gps home. As someone who suffers from anxiety, these little gestures of hospitality kept me from having a panic attack. They even brought to my attention that I had an old PA tag on my window (I'm an Ohio resident), and peeled it off for me. I have definitely become a returning customer after today. Purchased a used car that was recently inspected by the dealer within weeks of my purchases to find out after getting itbhome it was leaking oil which they were aware (they admitted) and yet it still passed the inspection. It had bald tires at inspection which they ended up replacing just to shut me up but I would NEVER have purchased a vehicle leaking fluids. They passed inspection on this vehicle knowing it had bald tires and corroded rotars and leaked fluids...How do they get away with this? They put an unsafe vehicle on the road. I cannot get any paperwork to show what is wrong or what they tried to fix the 8 business days they had it I've requested over and over and am getting the run around. I still have a vehicle that leaks. Hard lesson learned. read more

This is not a friendly fare service dept. in my opinion, I had my vehicle towed to the service dept for a stalling and very hard starting condition. They suggested tune up 6 cyl $600 with tax I said ok. Called me, They said they test drove it 30 miles and it's fine now. I didn't make it home, or 2 blocks for that matter, This was not an intermittent condition. I called manager he said they did not drive it that long? So essentially said I was told a lie, but he said he would take better care next time in. A week later i made an 8am appointment for state inspection. It needed a couple things, they called back after me dropping it off and walking home and said they can't work on that day and I would have to leave it? But reminded me it would be expensive. They not only didn't take care of me the next time, they wasted time again. Like most of us I rely on a vehicle, they make no apologies for my grief at all and said happy thanksgiving, almost sarcastic if you ask me. I'm dissatisfied with Classic Chevrolet. I did them a favor by buying a Camaro from them that was on the lot for a very long time. I live in CA and purchased the vehicle over the phone and Billy and Brad said it was a front-line ready new car so I bought it based on their words. You should be able to trust a franchised new car dealer. So I paid for car in full and shipped to the west coast. Upon arrival it had many scratches and a dent. The truck driver from AMB transport noted all this damage on the bill of lading that was filled out. One estimate to repair everything back to new car status was $1700 and one was $1200. I paid for the lower bid in full to get the car as a new car should be. We asked Classic Chevrolet to do what is right and pay the bill. I have the email that insulted me and offered $100. I said that is ridiculous and was left to suffer the loss. So I have to give a bad grade where it is truly deserved and these folks get an F in customer care. read more
