I can't say I've every had an issue with this cleaners in the 5yrs my family has used this place. I've notice the fees have increased a bit, but not much of an issue for a job well done. However, this particular visit was less than favorable. I sent my spouse to pick up 2 very light weight garments, one I specifically requested be ironed well as it was very wrinkled when dropped off. The positive to this visit is, my items were finished 2days earlier than anticipated. BUT, the $40 price, the one garment still quite wrinkled & the other item not looking very much different than it did when dropped off, has left a bitter taste. These items I needed for a trip and seems like I still won't have the pleasure of bringing them along. So on top of a $40 fee I will likely have to run to purchase 2 new options. The 2 stars are for the fast turn around & always pleasant/cordial/professional exchange with the staff. As for the quality of this cleaning experience, not good. read more

PRICE!!! $$$$ I dropped off 5 items to be hemmed last Wednesday I believe (Sept. 20). I had to put them on there so they could mark where they needed to be hemmed. The lady did make sure to ask me to double check and make sure where she marked them was ok, so that's nice. It was a jumpsuit, 3 dresses, and a pair of jeans. The lady warned me it would be expensive (didn't catch any names, it was a different lady then who marked my clothes). They gave me my ticket and told me they would be ready this coming Thursday (Sep. 28). I was about to be on my way out the door, when I stopped to ask if she had an estimate. She said the other lady (the one who marked my clothes) said around $200. Already, I know that that's waaay to much. Then the lady told me something to the effect of "oh since it's going to be that much you have to pay some of it now". I ended up paying $100 right then. Personally, I find it super shady that I was about to walk out of the store without paying anything, then all of a sudden I had to pay something. When I let my mom know this place was charging me $200 for 5 items, she told me she actually took a bunch of our clothes to that same place back in January (2023) and they charged her way less [don't remember the exact number of items or exact price but we remember it was waaay more than 5 items and we believe they charged us something in the $100 range (possibly $150-$180)]. I got a text yesterday I believe (Monday the 25th) that my clothes were ready so I decided to pick them up today (Tuesday the 26th). I get there and one of the ladies tells me it will be $157. I'm thinking I got lucky and it wasn't as expensive as I thought so I clarify that I paid $100 last time so it will only be $57 this time right? She says yes, then no, then shows me the computer. My total is $257. Since I paid $100 last time, I now owe $157. The other lady who told me it would be expensive the first time showed up and verified. She reminded me she did tell me it would be expensive (nicely) and she said it's because they go by width. Now, I am plus-sized so when I heard this, my first thought is they charged me waaay more because my clothes are plus-sized. She said it was the dresses in particular. The dresses are long (btw, I'm only 5 feet tall), loose, and flowy. Sooo it could possibly be size discrimination. It could also be anything not form fitting dramatically, ludicrously increases in price (loose-fitting dresses, ballroom-type dresses, etc.). It could be both. I could have also just plain been ripped off. I was able to get a copy of an itemized receipt. They charged me $35 to hem a jumpsuit, $18.50 to hem a pair of jeans, and $180 total for the 3 dresses. $60 to hem an unlined summer dress is absolutely ridiculous. I just moved to Washington 2 years ago from California where I lived for 26 years where everything is ridiculously, over the top expensive, but THIS tops it. I guess I can say they're fast, they're nice (guess I would be too if I got $260 out of a person) and I guess they did try to warn me. As I've written this, I haven't even tried on my clothes yet to see if they came out good, I'm just fuming from the price. Definitely won't be coming back since it's not worth the cost. read more

Every time I've gone in, the staff have been incredibly kind and friendly, striking up nice conversation and often times carrying my laundry out to the car. My 50yr old Woolrich coat was in bad shape. Lots of pilling a hole in the front and an overall bad smell. I also had a Filson wool jacket with many of stains. I took the Woolrich in for what i thought was just a cleaning and got it back looking almost new. Pilling was gone, colors where bright, hole was nicely patched and the smell was also improved. The Filson jacket was still stained after one wash but the company happily took it back and got all the stains our at no additional charge. This Dry Cleaner is the best I have experienced in the City. I brought in one of my husbands' collector Jackets from the Sonics basketball team. Because it is so old it had seams opening and needed top stitching repair. They repaired the sleeve without sewing through the lining. They informed me that they cleaned the jacket several times to restore the color. I requested fabric finish. When I picked up this jacket it was more than I expected. The color was vibrant again. Great turn around time, dropped off 8 shirts Monday and they were ready by Wednesday. This place is expensive than what I am used to paying. $7 per shirt to be cleaned. Also I did not know this until I had one of my shirts turned inside out, but they write your last name in permanent black marker on the tag of the shirt. Don't they have a better system of tracking and cleaning? To me, this is very unprofessional and not to mention, it's permanent. Will be going somewhere else next time. read more
