Very delicate very amazing dress with tons of appliqués beading etc. the stains had been on the dress in a closet for almost 8 years untouched. I don't know how they did it, but they made that dress look brand new !! Almost made me sad to see it go. I have been to Classic Dry Cleaners twice and will definitely be using them in the future. I cannot recommend them enough! I went to them to have my wedding dress preserved. They were so kind and upfront on the cost. Within a few short days it was done. Last week I needed a dress hemmed for a wedding very last minute. I was embarrassed to take my dress in half horridly hemmed with hemming tape mentally preparing myself to be made fun or feeling stupid. Instead they were so kind and understanding. Having read all of the great reviews, I figured I'd give this place a shot... I was disappointed as all of my shirts came back with pretty significant creases ll. But more importantly, my suit jacket came back with a messed up collar - they pressed it with the collar not lined up appropriately. I only noticed this upon hanging it back in my closet, so going back for yhebissue to be fixed is a huge inconvenience. I would think that someone trying to earn my business would get it right. They keep all our clothes pristine. My husband has airline pilot uniforms and they do a wonderful job. They will even fold his shirts (instead of hanging them) so he can just pack them in his suitcase once we pick them up. They know us by name and car. Their dog is adorable and my son loves to go in and pick out some candy. They saved my favorite sweater by somehow repairing a small hole in the shoulder and brought it back to life softer and smoother than it has ever been! Not sure how they do such amazing work. It's always hopping and they have huge amounts of clothes, but they are so friendly and efficient! All our area friends know them as the best dry cleaner. Period. read more

There is no doubt in my mind that Doug and Ella's business is far superior to any other cleaners I have used. I'm greeted with smiles from them and from their staff. Not only do they do an excellent job with my clothes, my husband's clothes and any other items I take to be cleaned, they remember my name! I spilled stuffed mushroom sauce on the front of my suit jacket at a wedding reception out of state. After four days I feared the stains had set. I took the suit to Classic and they were very friendly and accommodating. The suit was done in a couple days and the jacket and pants look new for about $20 with tax. I'll be more careful next time, but if not then Classic is my go-to dry cleaners. read more

Run away, don't walk! This place ruined a brand new dress I took in for cleaning and pressing. I was told that it was needing to be "hand pressed" because of the material type. I had never worn it but wanted it to look nice and pressed for the first wearing. When I picked up the dress a few days later the material was matted, shiny and looked like it had been pressed for too long. When I pointed this out to the owners they told me that I brought it in that way ! I must have ruined the dress and then brought it in to them hoping to get money from them. Obviously outraged I left and have never returned. If you do go there take pics of all your stuff before you take it in. That way you have proof of what they mess up !! read more

I have a large, king sized comforter that MUST be professionally cleaned each year. I have a toddler, so it was covered in smushed-in banana, sour milk, and unknown baby boy grossness. I brought it in, deeply worried my kid ruined my expensive and cozy winter bed covering. They were great- quoted me a competitive price, and an insanely quick three day turnaround. They do all the cleaning in house, and even provided a quilt bag for our comforter. I don't have much dry cleaned, but this is the place I'll go in Renton highlands. read more

I cannot tell you enough great things about this place. I have been taking my dry cleaning here for over a year and I wouldn't take my clothes anywhere else. The staff is very friendly, they remember who you are, and they call you if they notice any problems with the dry cleaning. Other experiences I have had other places: I have been charged 12 dollars to have a zipper replaced (they even told me I could bring in my own material and they would fix it. ???) I have had my clothes "fall of the truck" so it would take another day or two to get my clothes. I have been charged close to 15 dollars for one garment...... At this cleaners, I have NONE of those issues. I had 3 items dry cleaned (I think it was a suit jacket and a couple of dresses, or a skirt and a dress), and it cost me less than 30 dollars total. I had 8 things dry cleaned recently and not only were they super nice in telling me they would be ready by the next day but they went out of their way to let me know the potential issues some of my garments would face being cleaned (I have a few delicate dresses). My total bill came out to less than 10 dollars a garment, including tax! I love coming to this place for my dry cleaning needs and I highly, highly recommend you take your clothes here. My husband and I have been going to this family for years. Drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. When I was pregnant and after my son was born they walked my dry cleaning to my car and hung it in there for me. They are always very nice and have done a phenomenal job every time. Zero stars if i could. I got a pair of pants and a blazer hemmed and tapered. Over the phone they told me it was gonna be about 25 bucks each to do the pants and blazer. Dropped off my clothes on monday and i asked them to finish it by thursday because i was going out of town for a wedding. When i picked my clothes up on Thursday they told me it was gonna be 90 bucks. Because of time restraints i had no choice but to pay it and im a big believer in "you get what you pay for." So i was assuming they did a got job. Got home and tried on the clothes everything fit nicely. I did notice a tiny tiny hold at the crotch but i figured it wouldnt be noticeable. Today the day of the wedding i got in the car headed towards the wedding and i did nothing out of the ordinary and theres a BIG HOLE on my right pant leg. I know for sure it wasnt there before because ive worn these pants once before. AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

I wish every retail establishment had service like this. They do a great job on laundry and dry cleaning but the customer service is over the top great!! I'm called by name when I drop off or pick up and they bring my items out to the car. I usually take button down shirts that need a lot of TLC to iron and they come back perfectly pressed. Sorely disappointed. I thought the family that ran this store was very nice, and I was happy with the quality of my cleaning. BUT, I was bait and switched on the price. I will not be returning here. My husband is a large man, and I have been getting his shirts just washed and pressed in Seattle for $1.50 each. I asked BEFORE I had shirts cleaned at classic cleaners how much it would be for the shirts and I was told 1.89 which is a little more but I didn't mind. When I went to pick up my 6 shirts expecting to pay 1.89 I was charged over 30 bucks for 6 shirts. Needless to say I felt VERY mislead and I felt what they did was dishonest. They explained that because my husbands shirts were larger they needed to do certain things by hand. Which is fine, If that had been explained before. I have been paying the same amount at a lovely place in Seattle and they never double charged me. I go to the cleaners once a week and I am a good regular customer. But I will not pay 30-50 a week to have my shirts just regularly washed and pressed. This was the second time we had been in, and last time we paid 50 bucks for 3 shirts and a blazer. But I figured the price was high because of the dry cleaning on the blazer. I never got an itemized receipt. So I was shocked when I went back for just my 6 shirts and then had a double sized bill. If I would have been given an up front price or had they quoted me at a correct price the first time I prob would have stayed with this cleaners and maybe bit the bullet to pay the extra money. But because I felt like they quoted me one price and did not honor that price, I can't continue to patron this establishment. I will continue to look for a reputable cleaner elsewhere. read more
