3-5 weeks to refund money. Don't pay any money upfront We took our car to classic collision in Lawrenceville Georgia to confirm the estimate by provided by the insurance company. The insurance company had already made a check out to my daughter. Classic collision stated that they couldn't provide an estimate unless the check was signed over to them. Since the car had structural damage they stated that it was very likely that the car would be totaled. The insurance company refused the repairs, thus no services were rendered. To avoid storage fees I was asked to pick up the car. I picked the car up Feb 6. I asked about return of the check classic collision stated that the money would be refunded to the insurance company even though the check was in my daughters name. 2 weeks passed still no refund. When questioned they then stated that a formal request is required by the insurance company to refund money that doesn't belong to them. Nearly 3 weeks had passed and they now state that 2 to 3 weeks is required to return my daughters money. This is unheard of with today's technology and is not fair to the consumer. Why did they have to cash the check before the insurance company approved the repairs. Why didn't they inform my daughter, that if the repairs are not approved by the insurance company it could take 3 to 5 weeks to return. Her money. They made lots of promises. Today is Feb 28, the car was picked up Feb 6, and the $2900 provided to the repair shop still hasn't been returned. My daughter need thus money to help replace her car. read more

They gave me weeks of excuses of not being able to secure the part for the repair. It was only after I contacted the corporate office where they were able to make the repair the next business day. read more

They say new parts but other monetary breakdown like insurance summary says after market parts. They take weeks and weeks for completing the repair. They flat out tell us one thing but the insurance indicated something else where we paid more out of pocket when it was the other drivers insurance. The technicians doing the repairs lie. They said they could fix the problem and ordered the part but the insurance company said there was nothing wrong now. The front checkout is professional and courteous. The car was vacuumed out. I was willing to overlook the massive amount of dust left in my truck for me to clean, the dirty handprints on my seats, the decals that were left off my vehicle in the seat, them not informing Enterprise that their rental was there for almost two weeks, the extra nuts and trash on the bed of my truck, the painter's tape that I had to remove from under my truck, the pink marker I had to scrub off, and even the back door that wouldn't open. However, I draw the line at my missing lug nut. I was already missing one before my truck came into the shop, but someone decided that instead of replacing the lug nut they lost, they would let my vehicle leave the shop with another missing lug nut on the same tire. I called last week to let them know I want this shop to replace my missing lug nut and was told they would order another one. I haven't gotten a call back yet. Even though I have extras, Classic Collision must replace my lug nut immediately. I can't believe I paid nearly $8,000 for subpar work. read more

So the picture attached is of my car that Classic collision tried to tell my insurance was not worth repairing and it should be totaled out when they had no authority to tell my insurance that without even checking the value of my car which mind you was right at $20,000 still. The customer service I received from them was gawd awful and I believe it was Misty that was handling my car. She told me they had ordered the parts to fix my car and that I should have it by the end of the week. Then turned around the next day and said my car was totaled. Would never recommend going there. I had to continually bring it back to them and it is still is not fixed correctly. I'm probably going to have to take it somewhere where I pay for the the repairs and then get reimbursed. I really wish I could rate this place a "0". My repairs were made, but when I picked up my vehicle it looked like white paint was smeared on the backseat, the trunk liner was improperly installed - causing issues with closing, snaps were covers missing from reassembling the trunk liner, etc. Needless to say, my vehicle had to be returned to the shop for those repairs to be completed (a part had to be ordered, etc.). This location really needs to invest in a Quality Control person (who is not overwhelmed) to look at the completed work on every vehicle - before they return it the owner. When asked about quality inspections, the manager, Daniel, asked my husband, "Are you perfect?" He gave an excuse that he 'looks at hundreds of cars after repairs - there is no way he can catch everything'. My recommendation is do not use this location. TAKE YOUR VEHICLE SOMEWHERE ELSE for repairs - someplace where the technicians are qualified and care about the quality of work they done. read more

I hate this place! They had my car three different times and my bumper still not on properly. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Avoid this place! My car got taken there after hitting a curb with the front wheel. The shop tried to total the car with the insurance company, and I backed out the claim without authorizing the repairs. When I got my car back, the bumper, front fender and the headlight were removed from the car. My license plate disappeared (they mailed it to me later). Now the headlight is missing, apparently, someone didn't put it in the car along with other removed parts, and the shop wouldn't man up to it and referred me back to my insurance company. Overall, it was a disaster: they tried to total my car for just the suspension damage, they started removing parts without authorization, and misplaced parts in the process. Their customer service is horrible too - the people on the phone don't want to share any details about what's going on with your car and just try to basically get rid of you. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! Please do not use this repair shop referred by USAA. Customer service is subpar and craftsmanship and attention to detail is awful. I took my VW GTI to this shop to repair front bumper from a minor accident. After two weeks I received my car and noticed loose parts and screws where work was performed. I also noticed additional repairs to items that were not damaged on my vehicle. After inspecting my vehicle thoroughly I realized that certain parts were not replaced on my vehicle. I spoke to the manager who informed me that parts would be ordered and received the following week. After one week 1 I had to call to get an update to find out the parts were not ordered. It appears that this collision center inflates damages to receive more money from insurance company's. Its disheartening to see businesses such as this take advantage of hardworking people and this is the very reason our insurance premiums keep rising. Please make sure you do your research on these collision centers and especially stay away from Classic Collision McDonough location. read more

After an accident my car was brought to Classic Collision on the 27th of November, with an expected completion date of December 18th.I didn't receive my vehicle till January 14th. Almost every time it got near to pick up date, I would receive (sometimes) a notification saying changing the expected completion date. My insurance covered 30 days of the rental, because of them not ever having the vehicle to the time they said, they agreed to paying for the remaining of the rental car. Well on January 6th, I received notification by text saying my vehicle was ready to be picked up and that THEY will call me soon to arrange pick up. I called them all day and their lines were busy and kept getting an error message. So I texted the text notification, saying I've been trying to get in contact with you all about my car, no answer. So I kept sending text messages on the 9th as well, saying I still haven't heard from anyone and I have a flight to catch on the 9th and won't return till Monday but haven't heard anything. On the 10th I sent them a text saying I'm still trying to follow up on my car because no one has called me and when I called on those days, they said they would call me back. On the 14th finally jasmine called me to say the car was ready, I left work on an extended lunch to pick up my car while it was raining. well a week later I was getting my car detailed, and the dealership detailer said they found wax residue on my car and clear coating burned, so immediately I called the manager to tell them he asked for me to come n, but was very nasty and nonchalant about it, tried to blame my detailer saying maybe he didn't do a good job. Now enterprise called me and told me that they didn't pay from the 9th till the 14th. I spoke to the manager same manager regarding the wax residue all over my brand new 2019 vehicle, and he tried to blame it on me that i was out of town. I flew out of town, and the vehicle wasn't ready at all. I even spoke to a jasmine who told me that they were placing a clear coat on the car and that the car couldn't be picked up till 24 to 48 hours. I emailed the manager the text correspondence showing that I've called and texted regarding my car and the car wasn't ready, and he says he is not paying for the rental. the manager was very condescending to me, and would not let me speak, i asked for a higher manager contact information, he would not let me speak, he kept cutting me off, and now won't take care of the poor job on the clear coat of my car that has was residue and buffing swirls on the car due to a bad job at waxing and buffing. the manager Daniel Standridge literally hung up the phone on me. I've dealt with them about 7 years ago, they weren't like this. Jasmine and Daniel Standridge are the absolute worst, terrible customer service, and they won't honor the poor job that they've done and did not keep their word. I ended paying the rental out of pocket. so basically, a job that was supposed to take two weeks ended up taking two months, without any regard to me, and what they messed up on my car now I'm having to take care of myself. they said it has warranty but now the manager will not fix what they did. they will not give me anyone else phone number, and they damaged my vehicle. I have a 2019 brought brand new 2019 Camry now its botched and they have no regards to it at all. So What warranty is that. My car was picked up on a rainy day, and now I guess I no longer have warranty because I'm upset, they aren't what they said they would pay.
