This is one of the worst car dealerships in Houston. These guys ripped my mom off so bad I don't even know where to begin. They had the car that she wanted listed online for cheaper and when I showed it to them, they got angry. They put these packages on the cars that they used to rip you off, when we first found the car the package was $1300 but when we found the cheaper price they had listed online they switched it to $4000. The sales manager yelled at me in my face when I had done nothing wrong, just because we found their own listing online for the car cheaper than what they were trying to sell it to us for, so they turned around and jacked up that stupid package price that is worthless, from $1300 to $4000 . I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership regarding a trade-in payoff. When I purchased my vehicle, I traded in my previous car and was told the dealership would pay off the remaining balance on that loan as part of the deal. Unfortunately, that payoff was not handled in a timely manner, and I was still charged and contacted about payments for a vehicle I no longer owned. This situation created unnecessary financial stress and confusion because the responsibility to process the trade-in payoff should have been handled promptly by the dealership. Customers should not have to worry about being charged for a car they already traded in. I strongly recommend that anyone trading in a vehicle closely monitor their loan payoff after working with this dealership. Brought my Chevy here because it overheated and I had basically no where else to take it to as I just got the car. Took them bascially 3 days to get started on the work for a leaking coolant system (what kind of dealer doesn't have service open on Saturdays!?) and 2 days to finish. They never gave me any kind of status calls to let me know what was happening until it was ready, i had to be the one to call. I had advised them about a Check Engine light that appeared and ask for them to look into it. They finished the repairs and coolant flush and after charging a huge amount for labor, the check engine light was still there. The associate acted like he didn't know what I was talking about when I asked before i took the car out if the technician looked into that. So I found a new mechanic and they found that the Engine Cooling thermostat has gone bad, which to replace required yet ANOTHER cooling flush. And they had my car done in a day, not 5. My question is, if the repairs were "done" how could a so-called Chevy Certified Technician completely miss that? They didn't care and just wanted my money and to get me out of there, that's how. Poor customer service, terrible communication, absurd labor fees, didn't even fix the problem completely, and took someone else to finish what THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I always have good service when i used to take my 2013 Tahoe. But this time I took in my 2020 GMC Sierra cause the check engine light would come off and on. According to the code it was having a misfire. I dropped it off when they opened on a Wednesday, they said they would have to do a full Diagnostic would take 24 to 48 hours for result (which sounds too long for an answer). I called the next day (Thursday)in the afternoon and asked if any news. They said the mechanic was real busy but they would get back to me. I have a tracker on my truck and I watched it parked in the back all day Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Finally Saturday afternoon I had enough and went in person. They went to the back to look for it after they said it was in the shop. They came back and said the mechanic passed it to another mechanic and were waiting on the results. The Service Department at this dealership is stellar. I have been bringing our 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 RST Z71 4WD here for the past four years. There were a couple of known issues that came up and they fixed them in no time. At one point I stupidly put DEF into the fuel tank and got a contaminated fuel warning on the DIC. The mechanic who did the work ONLY works on Diesels. Today I had a question about my DEF being too old. The service manager already knew the VIN because they know my phone number. He spoke with the Diesel mechanic I mentioned earlier who told him I should go ahead and fill the DEF all the way and drive it for at least a half hour. He gave me the straight explanation on what to do, what to expect, and what would need to be done depending on what results. He promised he would call me by the end of the day and he did. I get the feeling that the rest of the dealership operates on the same level as the Service Department. You can tell when you go into a dealership, at least I can. There are lots of cheesy dealers out there but I think you will do all right if you buy a used or new vehicle here. read more

Recently purchased a new truck from Classic Elite. Set up an appointment from out of state with the salesman, Joseph. He was very responsive as we communicated via phone, text, and email. The original truck we wanted sold as someone was looking at it when I first reached out. Joesph told me to check out their website as they had multiple dealerships. We found a different truck that we like even more at one of the other locations. Joseph had it brought over and held for us. They let us test drive I alone without any pressure, even stopped for a Dutch. The negotiation process was what you'd expect but we were smiling the whole time. He had headphones in the entire time and I had to repeat myself multiple times for him to understand me through the headphones. Let me give anyone some advice that has any intention, evenly just remotely, to buy a vehicle here. As you approach Classic Elite Chevrolet West or any dealers operated under these owner's dealership umbrella, take your right foot with all your strength and might and press on the accelerator to get as far as humanly possible from this place of business. I have bought farm equipment and vehicles all over the country and have never seen the unethical, unprofessional, and outright potential illegal activity that goes on at this dealership, period. I want to share my story because it should not only matter a great deal to me and my family but to all the people in the world that live with integrity and always strive to do the right thing. I will apologize in advance, but this will be detailed because I think it is important to expose this business for what they truly are. My family and I are middle class, hardworking, and dedicated to the Lord. I have spent my entire life working in the steel industry and farming, about 30 years total between the two, so I know what hard work and commitment is. My son and I had been looking for a newer model Ford Mustang 5.0 with all the safety features. After months of searching, I called on a vehicle that my son and I both loved and was reasonably priced at Classic Elite Chevrolet. The salesman called and said we have only a $599 Pro Package Fee that we add to the price, and I quote "are not like other dealers" with the excessive fees. I was not a fan of this fee because truthfully these fees are just additional profit on the sale of the vehicle. However, I swallowed my pride on this fee and agreed to buy the 5.0 Mustang with a price closing sheet texted to me on February 9th for $40,029.82 with all taxes and documentation fees included. I have attached this sheet below (Figure 1). I would put $10000 down and finance the rest. Both the salesperson and his assistant, Martha, received the text that evening with my intention to buy the car at this price. This was a Friday afternoon, and I had a church function to attend that evening with my son, so I explained that I would close the following day. The next morning as I texted my information and driver license to start the transaction and wire the money as previously agreed to, the salesperson said wait a minute, did we have the right numbers? I was very confused but then goes to tell me he made a mistake and deducted a $3000 fee from the price, so the closing statement was off. Again, remember there was only one fee of $599. He then texts me a closing statement of $52,012.79 (Figure 2.). Of course, I am flabbergasted at this point because none of these numbers make sense, they match nothing, plus the accessory fee is 3978.00 on this statement, not $3000 or $599. Then finally he sends me a new statement with the new total of $43,214.62, (Figure 3). So, the dealership basically adds over $3000 to the price of the deal after we already agreed to terms, all of which are documented, and time stamped. I refused the deal after changing the terms on me after a final price was already agreed upon. I would only except the original deal of $40,029.82 with $10,000 down and finance the rest. Come to find out the dealership had another buyer and sold the car out from under me, even though I had agreed to buy it at said price. In other words, this dealership will kick you to the curb for a dollar and do not care about you, your family, or their integrity. It is only about the all mighty dollar and what deal they can close that will fill their pockets the most. This is the most outlandish scam on any level that I have ever seen in doing business for over 30 years across multiple industries. The sales manager, John Aldridge, calls me later Saturday afternoon and asks what he can do to make this right. I said there is nothing you can do to make this right for me or my family, I want that car you agreed to sell me at the price you promised. I also wanted to see the closing document on the sale of the car to see how much more the highest bidder paid so I could prove my point. He said he does not have access to that since it is another dealership, even though they are all connected? OK, are we still living in the stone age or do we have advances in technology called faxes, computers, emails, smart phones and other forms of communication now? Of course, he could not since they already sold the car for more profit at this point and he knows I am right. My brother called and made an appointment to get new brake pads. We drove over an hour to take his Chevy Silverado 3500 Duramax engine diesel into this dealership. Instead of being honest and telling us they did not have time to do a break change, they held the truck in the service lot for two hours. They said the diesel engine would not turn on, which is completely false. We know it's completely false, because they call back and said they couldn't lift the hood. Can someone please explain to me how a Chevrolet dealership service department cannot figure out how to get into a Chevrolet truck to the engine? I would prefer these people not to lie to my face.
