I was told Melissa, the piercer at Pretty In Ink, put a post that was too short in my nose. Also she pierced me so far back I had to get repierced yesterday and pay an additional fee for it because once it heals I wouldn't be able to switch to a hoop. I told her upfront I wanted to switch to a hoop eventually and showed her the jewelry I purchased and told her the size. She still did not take any of that into consideration when I relied on her expertise as a piercer. I am disappointed and frustrated and out of another $80+ because of my experience with Pretty In Ink. I tried to reach out to them for resolution but I was was ignored and did not receive a response.

Well, ma'am, my next visit is for my next visit. I have had to ask her to sanitize her hands. If you've ever had threading done, the person is literally in your face and if it's post-lunch, you can tell exactly what they had or struggling with. Be aware that the area being threaded should be cleaned beforehand. It's irritating to remind the threader to do so. I wonder if this is in an effort to use less product. I need you to be just as vigilant with your sanitation practices as you are when the screen asks me if I want to leave a tip. Speaking of tips, the amount the screen shows is more than what's advertised. For example a 10% tip on a $12 service is $1.20, 20% is $2.40. Take the time to verify what's being shown so you know what you're saying yes to. The adjacent barbers are really loud with their conversations and music so there's not a lot of chit chat because it's difficult to hear. She is pleasant and patient and will listen to what you're requesting. I do like how she does my brows but need consistency in the simple hand hygiene practices and consideration if it's after a meal.
