So a lil over 6 months ago I foolishly hired this guy with a mobile car repair service when I was living in Houston. Long story short on that is I basically got scammed out of $650 to get my car's a/c fixed. In comes this place earlier this week. I spoke to Sam, who was very kind and understanding. I told him the whole story and he told me he would take care of it. After dropping off the car on Monday, he called me around 12p and told me I had some major work that needed to be done. I asked him how long it would take, he said till Saturday. So Thursday rolls around, and I decided to give Sam a call, just to see how the repairs were going. He goes "boss your car is ready!"; I'm like "whaaaaat?!" Went to pick up the car and the a/c works great. Not a cheap job to be sure, but most a/c repairs aren't. Thanks to Sam and his crew for doing a great job and finishing before the deadline. Will definitely be back as I have some other things that need to be worked on. You guy's are great!

Mark really saved us: 1) He was open on a Saturday (hard to find that). 2) He listened patiently and did a thorough test drive. 3) In the end, he told me what was wrong, estimated the cost, AND said I'd be okay getting it repaired after the vacation. I paid him a diagnostic fee (of my own initiative). Based on this limited experience, Mark is a kind man who knows his stuff, is honest, and doesn't want to take advantage of the customer. Major Issues (Engine Light & AC Failure) After New Motor Install…read moreI am writing this review regarding service provided by Galveston Automotive Professionals in Galveston, TX, for my 2015 Chevy Tahoe. Approximately two weeks ago to five months ago, I had a new motor installed in my vehicle, a significant and costly repair. My experience has been extremely disappointing, as the shop's work introduced new, critical problems that were not present when I dropped off the vehicle. Specific Issues: Immediately after receiving my vehicle back with the new motor installed, the Check Engine light illuminated. This indicates a primary failure or error associated with the new engine installation or related sensors. Concurrently, the air conditioning system no longer worked at all. The AC was in perfect working order before I brought the vehicle in for the motor replacement. Resolution Attempt: I tried multiple times over several weeks to resolve these issues with the shop directly. I attempted professional communication and requested they fix the new problems resulting from their work. My attempts were met with dismissal, and the shop ultimately refused to properly diagnose or fix the Check Engine light issue and the now-broken AC system. Conclusion: I do not recommend Galveston Automotive Professionals based on this experience. The fact that a major engine installation resulted in two additional significant system failures immediately upon return is unacceptable. Their refusal to stand behind their work and fix the issues they caused demonstrates a severe lack of professionalism and customer care. Potential customers should be wary of their quality of service.
