Great service came in for a tune up on my spark plugs and the issue went away thanks to them

I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned GMC Yukon Denali from Gay Buick GMC on March 21st. At the time of purchase, the front windshield was cracked, and it was clearly stated in the contract that it would be replaced. It has now been over a month, and despite multiple phone calls and follow-ups, I still have not received any resolution. Every time I call, I'm told that they will "check on it" and call me back, but no one ever does. I'm tired of constantly having to chase them down for something that was promised and written into the agreement from the beginning. This experience has been very frustrating and disappointing, especially considering this was supposed to be a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from a dealership. Customer service after the sale has been extremely poor. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend buying a vehicle here. read more

They wouldn't work on my car because it was more than 10 years old. Yes, you read that right, they didn't want the business. They refused to take a paying customer. I have 2010 Cadillac SRX, with only 75,000 original miles in mint condition. Still got the original brake pads for God's sakes. I just put the second set of tires on it. They made me feel like my car was a piece of junk and they didn't wanna touch it and then basically wanted to force me to buy a new one. If they were the only dealership in the county tomorrow, I'd push my car up 45 to Harris county. I'll never set foot on their property. They managed to run off what would have been a repeat customer cause I also have a 2018 Suburban. read more

I don't like leaving negative reviews. But this is unbelievable. My truck has been having the same issue for months leaking oil from the oil pan. Finally was able to get my truck back into the dealership because it still has warranty and for them to replace an engine cover/oil pan takes them over a week. Which is completely bs and supposedly they only have one diesel mechanic that works at that dealership. If you have a diesel truck and need any assistance, I suggest do not take your vehicle here. I've been trying to get a hold of the service manager that works at this place and he is not accepting my calls. They were weren't even able to give me a rental car to use while my truck is being serviced by them for the 6th time. Just a heads up stay away from this dealership. read more

Depending on the salesperson they will call these add on fees "recon fees", "certification fees", or "a year with of oil services". They are very good at ripping people off. I had gone into their showroom expecting them to discount a $40885 vehicle to 29945 - a number which they had advertised. Instead, they ended up charging $33,498.81 - $3,553.81 more than I had expected. Part of this was through the use of $2500 in addendums and another $1000 which was a supposed special being put on by the dealership which they ended up not honoring. Due to their success in obfuscating the costs, I knew about the addendum but completely missed they did not put the $1000 dealer special on. This has made me so upset and angry with myself and with the dealership. I hate that I might have to see or deal with these people again. I ended up paying way more than advertised. Be careful, the dealership salesman don't use high pressure sales tactics but you do need to make sure you're not being taken for a ride. In the end, the price I paid was not horrid, it wasn't very good however. read more

I purchased a used 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 truck from Gay Buick GMC on April 1st 2023. The dealership fraudulently overcharged me a total of $498. I only met with and spoke to the sales associate, John Pigott, & the finance person, John Pack. I made it clear to John Pigott that I did not want to pay for any additional services or add-ons. John concurred and responded back repeating what I told him. John then went back to the used car sales manager, Joshua Block, and returned a few minutes later. He had a piece of paper where he had written numbers on it. He showed the final out the door price and once again confirmed that I was not paying for any additional services or add-ons. John stated that I was only paying taxes, title, and administrative fees. I then spoke with the finance manager, John Pack. I signed several documents. I don't remember seeing the line item charges however I was charged $99 over invoice and $399 for a service. read more

Never coming back here again. I usually buy all my trucks from here and even drive all the way here from Webster for service. I had an appt at 9 for oil change. They take my truck in and 1.5 hours later come out to say they haven't even started on it. Never again getting my business. There is a hundred other places. Don't make appointments if you are going to work on walk in peoples vehicles over the loyal customers who make appointments. Update: I was called by a service manager a few hours after leaving and apologized to. They asked if they could make it up to me and schedule for my service to be done in a timely manner and paid for by the dealership. So that was completed a week later at the same time 9am this Friday morning. Service was completed satisfactorily. Very happy. Thank you Gay! read more

I bought my truck last year 2023 GMC Denali 3500 1 ton pickup truck cost $100,000 on 4/22/2024 was towing my 5th wheel home from a job and my truck goes in Limp Mode. So I call the dealership, set up appointment to see what's the issue with my truck. So they tell me bring in the truck on 4/24/2024 so the diesel mechanic can diagnose the issue, next thing I know I get a message from dealership it's gonna be $14,013.65 to fix your truck not once was told what the issue was I'm like ok I have warranty on the vehicle, they tell me well warranty doesn't cover metal shavings in fuel system so I was like I didn't put metal shavings in my fuel tank and isn't that the reason there's a fuel filter and they said well the filters aren't a 100% and could let particles into your fuel system so you must have put some bad fuel from somewhere and I told them well I don't know any fuel station that would have metal shavings in the fuel pumps so I told them I heard that GM fuel pumps have had issues they said sir we used to have issues with the CP4 pumps but we use DP4 pumps now so that shouldn't be the issue per the service manager Ramon so I told him well maybe my pump is the lemon of all the pumps out there he said no sir we believe you put bad fuel in the fuel in system. The fuel is clean but has metal shavings I said ok but when a fuel pump starts to go bad it pumps metal shavings in the return line back to fuel tank and that's where the shavings should be coming from he said no sir we believe you have bad fuel I said ok well can you break open the fuel pump to see what the inside of Hi Pressure Fuel pump looks like he said we can't we have to get authorization from GM so I called GM warranty to see if they could help me out and basically there going off of what the mechanic is saying so now they want me to pay for diagnosing my vehicle which is costing me $2242.50 to just remove the fuel pump, they haven't checked inside they fuel rail or engine to see what the damage is or has never gave me engine codes until I asked for them which was last week on 5/2/2024 so basically if you buy a new vehicle and have issues don't bother to take it to Gay Buick in Dickinson Tx. because there gonna say your at fault for your vehicle having issues. The warranty is a joke cause they go off what these technical institute graduates say especially if you have a diesel truck. Watch out cause apparently Buccee's and Chevrons and all this other diesel fuel stations have bad fuel in your system with metal shavings that caused my truck to go into limp mode and warranty doesn't cover anything in the fuel system. read more
